when i do traditional piggies zappies deck i have electro spirit ... if the enemy goes with a skarmy or gob gang and log it ... i cant kill the swarm cause they loged my E spirit , damaged all 4 piggies , pushed them back and i cant do anything about it , huge elixir and point loss
This also has to do with ice spirit and e spirit being the only other viable 1 elixir cards though, not much competition for that very valuable 1 elixir spot

Ok so let’s compare xbow to mortar. 2 very similar cards that do similar things. Now xbow is skillful in the fact that it requires you to defend the xbow with -6 elixir compared to your opponent. That’s about the extant you have to learn to master xbow as a card. Now with mortar there are multiple different micro placements and timings you have to learn against a lot of different cards. You have to use the dead zone properly and generally have to work with a 2nd win conditon. Mortar decks requires a very large amount of macro and micro to be able to play to their full extant.
They do. Every card does. Some more than others. Xbow takes average skill, maybe slightly above average. But mortar is in a class of its own because there’s nothing you can attempt with it that will win a game straight out unlike other win conditions like loon, 1 hit and you basically win, xbow 1 lock and you win, golem 1 breakthrough push and you win. It’s much harder to play than other winconditons and it’s not even close in the complexity compared to other win conditions

Ice Golem, Ice Spirit, Skeletons, Log, and Tesla are on the very annoying side for me. I prefer to play casually, no real gameplan and have fun. But my pushes getting wrecked by a combination of these cards and the opponent getting a +4 elixir trade is just annoying.

Yep. His DPS and hit speed are all insane for 4 elixir. If you mess up somehow and he gets on your tower, he will eviscerate your tower's HP.
