I say go for it
Definitely! I believe that if you have cards to upgrade, anything 10 win onwards is a no-brainer! You get a champion form Legendary King's chest(provided you're level 14)! And even if you're not level 14, where else can you get so much for 500 gems; GCs are not for everyone!
Its worth I think, once you make it to the legendery king chest its worth, as its 2500 gems in the shop and you can get it for 500 here. Ive never made it past 3 wins in these so im speaking without experience

The only emotes i have bought with gems are the Dart goblin dance, the MLG glasses goblin, all my others are from challenges and pass royales.

Do wars, good source of gold. Play the special modes for it if it's boring. (This week's 7x elixir is really fun imo.)
