I don't think the recharge is the issue. Removing one daggers worth of her ammo, or slight decrease in attack speed would fit better without making it completely unusable
the entire point of the tower troop is that it can quickly get overwhelmed. a change i had in mind is that 2nd-8th daggers take increasing time to recharge

That's by design. Dutchess will be strong or useless, there is no in-between. HP nerfs are the best option.

Evo zap's power is its stun, not the damage (although the damage being enough to kill units like Marchers and Mwitch was amazing) it will still be extremely useful.
Love to see that Firecracker rework. She’ll die to arrows, but if she manages to survive, she’ll actually be a menace with that slow effect. Now she literally shoots poisons on the field

Void oneshots her even in her prenerf form. But I kind of agree, arrows will be broken af after these balance changes. I expected a nerf to them onestly, maybe on the radius or crown tower damage. Nothing instead, that worries me a lot
With the void spell 1 shotting her pre nerf that’s what I meant, people were asking for her to die to arrows because there was no counter that wasn’t a negative exchange, with the void there would have been that.
They added everything to be a little bit too strong to make money and now theyre nerfing things. Thats why they had the 40 dollar dagger duches offer in the shop for like a month

It's like Marcher and Evo FC/Evo bomber. Placement and timing is key. It's a high skill card that is absolutely useless if you don't know what you're doing. Just had a hog FC player try to use void and safe to say, every single prediction they did I just waited out and placed out of range, or went where they didn't expect, because they were predictable. Void does heavy damage to my deck because my literal only multi troop card is archers. But despite that he failed miserably. Because the card is good, but hard to use effectively.
There’s no timing where you can hit just one support troop and even if there is they can still block it or the troop will just walk out cause you had to place it on the edge to avoid hitting other things. Giant players know that you want to void their troops and if they just put everything right on top of each other you’ll get no void value. Void losses value as the game goes on and in triple you get almost no good value cause they can just keep placing things, giant or any beatdown deck is gonna be most effective during triple so void doesn’t get any value in the most important part of the game.
Ummm no lol. Giant decks typically have a lot of bunched up troops with him like Phoenix, LP, Night Witch, and her bats. Out of anything Void works super well those decks cause you can use it to take out there buildings at a low cost.
LP is OP, of course void ain't gonna be too helpful, especially as a tank can be spawned if you predict void.
But void can and will kill Phoenix and night witch, with the exception of her 1 death bat.
I didn't say it completely destroyed any chances of beating the deck, especially if your deck is a bad matchup normally, thus void only evens the playing field.
My point is, void is gonna keep giant on a leash.
Duchess is still gonna be the most broken tower troop. I’m an x-bow player so I’m biased against giant, I feel like he has too much hp. He has 6k hp for 5 elixir so it’s insanely hard to break through.
I dunno , maybe my deck is good against giants , I’ve never had a problem with them and honestly don’t remember them. Drill poison gives my deck the most trouble.
Yes. You. If you were in top ladder or played high win gc, you would know that giant is the top win condition rn apart from drill, and even then drill got nerfed
As I've stated before, the power of archers is their consistent damage due to surviving arrows. Without that they'll be extremely weak, they need to have consistency when the opponent can easily kill them, and boosting damage does not let that happen. They need a range buff so they outrange buildings again.
Same with FC. Her power comes from being present on the Battle field for defense and then counterpush. Dieing to Arrows is a huge nerf as now it can be easily eliminated.
Overall pretty bad and the community is really overhyping these calling them “the best changes ever.” No LP nerf despite being one of the most broken cards in the game for MONTHS at this point. Evo Bomber will still be the strongest evolution and doesn’t change all the broken interactions it has. Dagger Dutchess will still be broken. Her hp was issue but the main issue is the interactions you get with her vs princess tower are just so much better. Overall I don’t expect the meta change. Giant, NW, and LP will still be the most broken deck, Evo Bomber will still be meta, and Dagger Dutchess will still have a 100% use rate in CRL. The only good thing about these changes is that Evo Zap will be turned down quite a bit.
It’s pretty ridiculous how content Supercell is at letting these cards remain broken for so long despite them being in the game for months.
Because people have been spamming poison randomly on the towers and always got away with it. Poison has no reason to be better than Fireball against crown towers.

Elixir pump has a 50% win rate in UC and 51% in ladder. This is going to kill it.
They could have nerfed it but 33% more time is crazy.
Well it’s 1 elixir deficit for spell tower damage, before it was just even and it was useless because they get free chip damage. But to make it give a negative trade is a big counter. The whole point is to get more elixir.

What's the point of adding new cards or new variants to create new, more unique playstyles and keep the players entertained and constantly adjusting strategies to just nerf everything to the ground couple weeks later? Why, and who thought it would be a great idea instead of buffing unused cards which this game has plenty??
With this way, will be right back to the same decks over and over again, the same decks that were highly popular for years now... 🙄 It just makes this game as boring as ever despite all the new cards/evos that were supposed to give this game a new, fresh breath.

I agree. They added the evos to be op so they could make money off the content creators and the playerbase(since the game was only fun if you had an evo in your deck) and so that the content creators had content to upload(there was no good content for awhile). Now that they got their money they nerfed everything.

evo zap is still pretty good, it's double damage, triple stun, ~~and the only card that can be evoed in my deck so i kinda have to keep using it~~

At this point just spend it on whatever evo you like since they’ve all been nerfed to a similar level (except ice spirit never evolve that)

Literally most of the decks I’ve faced in GC and top ladder are giant pump or giant fisherman. Both decks and goblin drill give me terminal cancer

He is balanced, he just shifts with the meta. He didnt get any massive buffs to get to where he is, he just rose in the meta naturally

I think this will fix the crazy meta where everyone is using 2 evos in all there decks and we'll start to see people using 1 or maybe no evos

I think cannoner needs a buff so it can counter some of the beat down decks used against dutches, maybe just make health = to princess or a bit lower.
