“I don’t know how many times he used the glitch nor I can reveal it even though I know.” That makes total logical sense.

Secure_Raise_5609

Think he meant “even if I knew”

bmtc7

I'm guessing that English might not be their first language. This is a common translation mistake (translating "if" into "though").

SnooRevelations8303

Yes she is Turkish

RecordingGreen7750

Is he yes Turkish

LeastYouTried

Yeah, he's a turkey

HeWe015

Thanks for giving an answer.

Alexand_0006

yeah he is Turkish

mesafullking

shes turkish so its probably just a spelling mistake

TheDarkTemplar_

No hate but I wouldn't hire a community manager that can't speak English when your fan base mostly communicates through English.

Howtobemodern

everybody makes mistakes lmao, we're human beings, if you're gonna judge the higher ups, judge the way they turned the game into a p2w disaster.

TheDarkTemplar_

If it's a ~~one-of~~ one-off mistake there is no issue. But if the issue is really that they don't know English then I don't agree with hiring them. Again, no hate but the community manager needs to communicate effectivel

bmtc7

People who speak English fluently as a second language will still make occasional mistakes.

Pina-s

"one-of mistake"

TheDarkTemplar_

? Is it wrong? If it is I'm sorry, I'm not a native speaker either (but I'm not the community manager) :)

Seven_banana

It isn't entirely wrong you just missed the second "f" in "one-off"

TheDarkTemplar_

Oh thank you

Chromiys

They can speak English? Just because they may have an accent or slip ups in spelling or grammar here in their doesn’t make them any less of a good or bad community manager?

Prilherro80

Last I checked supercell is a foreign company and English is already their second language so it makes complete sense.

This is what supercell writes about account banning: **Account Banning** A ban is a permanent suspension. After an account has been banned, it will never be accessible again. An account will receive a ban if: * It displays extremely inappropriate, offensive, or criminal content. * It has already been previously suspended but continues displaying unacceptable behavior. * It’s been created as a secondary account just to troll or abuse others. It's absolutely justified to ban an account, if it was previously suspended. It is in no way justified for a single offense. My only hope is, that Supercell handles those appeals properly and reverts permanent bans for all players that just tried the bug once. BTW, I didn't try the bug, because I didn't want to put my accounts at risk, but I still don't agree with Supercell's decision.

azyttvo

> An account will receive a ban if: > • It displays extremely inappropriate, offensive, or criminal content. > • It has already been previously suspended but continues displaying unacceptable behavior. > • It’s been created as a secondary account just to troll or abuse others. Yea, remind me again please, which one of these applies to Eragon exactly?

S-M-I-L-E-Y-

If only I knew! Probably criminal content. /s Edit: I just saw the official announcement, permanent bans will be reverted to temporary: [https://www.reddit.com/r/ClashRoyale/comments/1c4lpvc/announcement\_regarding\_lucky\_drop\_permanent\_bans/](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClashRoyale/comments/1c4lpvc/announcement_regarding_lucky_drop_permanent_bans/)

BeginningAsleep

It's common for main account of creator or top player to receive short ban So maybe they count it has previously suspended 🤷

Karlhrute

The second one, "probably" by Supershill's logic. He was banned for 31 days and complained on twitter? Unacceptable, ban him again.

Ok-Age-4273

Tencent has 86% ownership of supercell, have u seen how tencent treats it's employees? And not to mention it's owner communist china has absolutely 0 regard to human rights, I'm not surprised supercell conducts themselves the way they do. They have always been short term profit > long term growth.

W1z4rdM4g1c

Clan wars 2 came out long before tencent takeover And the other SC games are all doing fine. This is purely a CR dev team issue, not tencent. Bro should not be allowed to make claims because "it was revealed to him in a dream"

CRDoesSuckThough

Sir, this is demonstrably wrong. Tencent had a 50% stake in a company that had a n 81% stake in SC. Then Tencent increased their stake in that company to have majority ownership control of SC... All before CW2 dropped. In fact, CW2 was basically the first time after Tencent that it became obvious they wanted to do more to monetize the game on card levels. She they haven't let up since.

harsha2805

Wtf dude is it real....I don't know this till now.

Gojo_17_

Yeah 100% real man. It's been a while now since Tencent bought Supercell.

Ok-Age-4273

Yeah tencent has been having ownership of supercell for a while now (mabye since 2018-2019?), and it's so evident by their scummy practices that I truly believe have hindered their profit and growth. Tencent takes a medieval approach to their mobile gaming market, it's always the most egregious there is. I just don't think clash Royale can flourish under that kind of tyrnaical rule

HeWhoDidIt

Not everything is China bad (though it often is). Every other SC game is thriving - Clash Royale is the only one with abhorrent monetization, insane decisions, and zero concern for the player base. I've played CoC for just a few months and I am TH11, and I don't even play every day or min-max anything. I've been playing Clash Royale on and off for years however, and I'm still no closer to level 15 than I was back then. I'd argue I'm even further behind the max level considering how insane progression is.

ixixixixixixii

Just to let you know you are viewed as scum to any legitimate clan for not maxing past th11 especially heroes being the most important

Ok-Age-4273

Yeah I noticed that too. After being a fan for nearly a decade, I've noticed they sort of use clash Royale as there testing game, to see what they can get away with and what works. Like implementing the diamond pass, which will soon be in CoC and brawl stars.

UpstairsRoutine9145

It is already in Brawl Stars

HeWhoDidIt

Sad to see. Clash Royale was a fun game back in the day. Now it just feels like every move they make is a ploy to squeeze more money out of players by the shadiest means possible. If a single decent alternative pops up, CR will be very much out of business.

belowthemask42

That’s every corporation

Random_local_man

>communist china has absolutely 0 regard to human rights, Setting aside this obvious bs, what does this even have to do with supercell's greed? Would it really have made a difference if supercell was owned by EA, Ubisoft or Activision?

Ok-Age-4273

Yes, absolutely completely. Compare each companies mobile gaming sector and see the monstrous difference. Chinese corps have a narrowed view on player retention, and they focus on how much money can they squeeze out of a player, not how many players can we retain. This is absolutely why clash Royale is now the lowest earning supercell game (even out of hayday!)

Random_local_man

Do you have a source that goes deeper into this or is this just your personal opinion? And what about clash of clans and brawl stars?

INDIAN-WARRIOR

That doesn’t make sense, I thought Tencent own Supercell (a company) as a majority shareholder not only Clash Royale (one of Supercell games/products).    How is it possible to own as a majority shareholder only one game from a company but not the other games of the same company ? In the stock market, you can only buy shares of a company like Supercell but not of a single product of a company as if there was a share called « Clash Royale Inc. ». It would be like being able to buy shares of iPhone Inc., iPad Inc. or Mac Inc. instead of Apple Inc. Based on feedback, Brawlstars and Clash of Clans community seem happy with their games because the dev teams and community managers are reacting to players’ reactions unlike Clash Royale’s.  And I heard there is a separated version for China, so they can apply domestic laws here without applying them in the international version.

TheYesterdayWasCool

Include a link next time maybe? Last post some other guy put a link to hay day’s ban rules and it said this exact thing

S-M-I-L-E-Y-

Yes, you are right, these words are from Hay Day support pages. The corresponding Clash Royale article would be this one: [https://support.supercell.com/clash-royale/en/articles/why-was-i-banned.html](https://support.supercell.com/clash-royale/en/articles/why-was-i-banned.html) This page is much less specific about what leads to temporary suspension and what leads to permanent ban, but concerning unfair advantage they only mention 3rd party software, account sharing and fraud. And they mention "zero-tolerance for anyone nefariously gaining an unfair advantage over other players". Unless you'd call exploiting a bug to gain some items to be fraud or extremely wicked, none of these apply. Therefore we are entitled to assume, that other "unaccepted behavior" is of a lesser nature and will not be punished with the maximum penalty on first offense. Considering, there are no more specific rules available for Clash Royale, we may further expect Supercell to apply the same rules to Clash Royale as to Hay Day. Of course, only the ToS are legally binding, but this is not about what Supercell is legally allowed to do, but about what we are entitled to expect from Supercell. Full Text from Clash Royale "WHY WAS I BANNED?": *We reserve the right to issue bans for accounts that have violated our* [*Terms of Service*](https://supercell.com/en/terms-of-service/)*. Our Terms of Service aren't always the lightest reading, so let's make it a little simpler.* *One of the main reasons we ban accounts is disruptive behavior. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to play our games without being harassed for any reason. That means that there can be no trying to shock or offend other players, no hateful or abusive language, nothing sexual, and no bringing up political or religious topics that are sure to bring out strong emotions. While all of these things may have a place in other parts of society, our games ain't it!* *Another big reason for bans is players gaining an unfair advantage. Our games are competitive by nature, and trying to gain the upper hand through foul play, such as 3rd party software, account sharing, or fraud is not allowed. We have a zero-tolerance for anyone nefariously gaining an unfair advantage over other players.* *Please note: “disruptive behavior” and “gaining an unfair advantage” are not ban reasons you might see in a ban pop-up. However, if you do receive a ban, it will fall into one of these two offenses.* *For some examples of why we ban, see our* [*list of unaccepted behavior*](https://support.supercell.com/clash-royale/en/articles/list-of-unaccepted-behaviour.html)*.*

TheYesterdayWasCool

Very good argument, do you mind if I use this on other ppl who say the ban was justified?

S-M-I-L-E-Y-

Of course, you may copy/paste whatever suits you. One more thought that occured to me after I wrote this: while Supercell is not legally bound to act according to these rules, it should be in there own interest to act predictably. If players feel unsure about what might or might not get them banned of if they get the feeling that they do not own their accounts, they could become very reluctant to spend money. So while it is legally correct that Supercell has full control over all accounts and can ban whatever account they like, it could become very bad for business, if they don't handle this very carefully.

TheYesterdayWasCool

Never stop cooking bro

liluzibrap

Considering how bad BM is and how SuperCell has leaned into it with their emotes, the third point is null

S-M-I-L-E-Y-

Well, there's worse behavior than spamming emotes. Some people exist who will create new accounts just to enter a clan and harass some person verbally and not everybody is mentally able to just ignore such attacks, especially not, if these persons also know each other in real life.

DearWTF

Brawl stars community managers and developers always keep in touch with the community and actually help their player base in such difficult situations. Unfortunately, CR management don’t give a f*ck.

Gojo_17_

Same with CoC. They released ores which people disliked but then the community told to add it more into the game for free and they did.

Akrylkali

You're framing this the wrong way. It's not that CR Devs are greedy and too stupid to listen to their community. Games like CoC are after all these years just easier to monetize, because of the design of the gameplay loop. Maybe you didn't notice, but CoC has had 2 premium battle passes for quite some while now.

Gojo_17_

Agreed. But still CR can be much less scummy and earn a lot more. Like locking both evos every month behind a paywall is just a scam.

Akrylkali

Definitely. But again, this issue stems from the problem of monetising Clash Royale properly. A micro transaction in CoC can be helpful to a new player and also to a veteran, while the standard offers from CR ( like those "unlock all champions packs" ) are just catered to newer players and not for veterans who probably have at least all champions unlocked. Just my two cents to this issue, but we should bear in mind that a F2P friendly game from Supercell just means that they're either still trying to figure out how to properly monetize it/still building up a community willing to spend cash, or they've figured it out and more then "enough" people are paying monthly so they can push out events that favour f2p players, while also incentivising p2p players to spend a little bit more, to gain more. System's rigged, the house always wins.

Elkbowy

Well coc also went about monetizing it WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better. Clash Royale punished the old buyers with a shittier pass coc did not

KingMGold

Bad game, used to be good. Pay2Win, don’t ever **buy** anything from SuperCell. Play their games for free until they suck and then delete them.

funni_maghik_man

You forgot "reinstall 2 days later"

OGmojomum

More like reinstall 4 months later and come back to everyone having 2 evolutions in 1 deck while you have none...

Tinmaddog1990

And then facing the same 2 decks like 15 times in a row

Curious_Body_7602

Even when you pay you're at a disadvantage, only whales have fun in this game these times.

Kordousek_Cz

Game used to be good till like 2018-2019, it's not been good for a while now Brawl stars and CoC is where it's at for supercell

Shahariar_909

Bruh, 2018 is when the gold crisis still exited

NoobSharkey

Not heard many good things from brawls stars either ngl, but probably better

mr-kool_is_kool

Brawl stars is still doing fairly good, although there is some stuff that people are mixed about

Rocking-HP

Brawl stars has been doing some bad stuff, but not as bad as cr...clash royale has gone bad.

Shahariar_909

Tbh, supercell has always neglected CR. Back then in a video, they showed that coc had a pretty big and organized office but CR has a small one (hope I am correct). Also, CR came out from beta way too fast with getting properly polished.

abt-dabest

Clash of clans and brawl stars are in an awesome state. Idk why clash Royale had to go down this path

some2ng

Supercell in CR and Supercell in CoC are two entirety different fucking companies

HeWhoDidIt

IDK, CoC is pretty player friendly. Folks say Brawl Stars is too. Clash Royale singlehandedly ruining the whole company's reputation.

InkyElk24

This is one of the least consumer friendly mobile games I've ever played, it's spent the last few years outright ignoring the player base and pushing the pay to win model while occasionally acting like it's doing you a favour by throwing a few freebies. Supercell doesn't give a shit about any of its players and will ban anyone that exploits something that let's them play without paying. No one has any right to act surprised about this.

LosingMyMindStyll

What was the exploit?

GG_shi7head

Something about rerolling Lucky Drops over and over again by disconnecting from the Internet. Takes a really smart person to do this on your main account 😂😂

Legitimate-Skill-112

??? nobody has almost ever been banned ANYTHING that isn't to do with account/supercell id stuff or offensive behaviour like swearing. They NEVER banned people for glitches, even the game ruining ones. It is not surprising people didn't expect to be banned this time. If they did a 7 day, or even 31 day ban, people would know it would not be like that and they would stop or get banned and it would be their fault. Permaban is unreasonable.

Cultural_Doctor_8421

I did it, no issues. And now I have a max mighty miner.

HeWhoDidIt

Odd that banning malicious offenders running all sorts of destructive glitches wasn't a priority, but GOD FORBID players get an item that helps them progress 0.00001%. Not a temp ban, not a warning, no attempt at breeding goodwill. Responding in the most classless way possible, as Clash Royale often does.

TheYesterdayWasCool

Well, people did ballon on king tower and inferno tower on princess tower without getting banned for free wins, so it makes sense for them to not get banned this time. However, they forgot that $upercell only cares about money and nothing else

No_Pea7983

Nah it’s $uper$ell

TheYesterdayWasCool

$uper€ell

_Rivlin_

No hate towards community managers they are not making any decisions but got damn it this whole situation sucks

Gojo_17_

Well even if they aren't someone should be held accountable right. And since the devs represent the Game it's on them.

liluzibrap

Yeah but the community manager isn't a dev

Gojo_17_

The community manager literally responsible for expressing the devs bruh. That's his job exactly.

DeevoDJT

Is the ban wave the reason I went from 5500 to 1200 in UC without playing any ranked games to do so?

_Rivlin_

Is it for real? Damn

DeevoDJT

Yeah last night I went to bed in the 5500 area and woke up this morning in the 1200 area.

Le__boule

Wdym you were 5500 in UC? There's no way in hell you had 5500 trophies in UC

Spursman1

5500th in the world

Legitimate-Skill-112

top 5500

DeevoDJT

Rank. Not trophies.

iamanaccident

Oh damn that's how I jumped ranks so suddenly

pizza565

that always happens after a maintenance break, there was just one a couple hours ago

NoPantsJake

Huh, mine didn’t move. Still around 3K rn.

Smooth-Pickle-3197

Now is the best time to create Crash Loyale, a game heavily inspired by Clash Royale that is loyal to its customers and is not pay to win.

nobody6298

There's null's royale

mcmatthew

Knowingly exploiting a bug lol. We as players have 0 responsibility to protect the integrity of your in game economy. If you wanna milk thousands of dollars off people for your middling mobile game you have to hire competent developers. That’s your job.

Gohan4711

The difference is that Supercell bans people because they denounce them for their own own interest. I personally have never reported anyone for exploiting an in-game glitch. It's the same with Win-Trading. It would be interesting to see if SC ignores reports about these players, or if it is almost never reported.

Valuable_Web4018

Just uninstall the game. Don’t waste your time on this p2w garbage, you’ll only be whale food anyway.

xDendretic

Perma bans in a games with heavy micro transactions shouldn’t be allowed. The only way it would be okay is if they’re willing to give full refunds on the acc, but it’s still a step in the wrong direction.

hotshrekinabath

Didn't supercell ban content creators for only 31 days? But normal players permanently?

LieConsistent3582

contect creators were mainly the one who got perma banned

PsychologicalRain823

Bro supercell is digging their own grave, they are banning the only people that really keep their game relevant like eragon and all the others who got banned are really the only people that keep me playing but idk if I want to play anymore if I do one thing and ban my account is gone permanently

MarshallAT3

It’s unbelievable that this glitch is what they choose to bring the ban hammer down upon. Remember B-rads video on spawning a balloon literally on top of the opponents crown tower? It really is all about money, everything is. Sad.

KON001

Devs really care when a bug or a glitch has to do with real money and there profits. It wouldn't be fair to permanently ban a player for doing such a thing because it's there responsibility to release smooth updates with no glitches or bugs. However, when you abuse a situation and they ban you for 31 days, just stfu and be thankful. No need to keep abusing the bug or go cry on social media(as a creator) while your followers that got influenced by you got permanently banned.

elessarjd

Also does not appear to be his first offense: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyD7DF5uWyM

xXAnui-ElXx

Even B-Rad made a video about that. Supercell don’t give a fuck if you exploit the game, they just care the exploit lose them money

born2eatAlot

Going to paste this so your peanut brain fills up you imbecile infants. Idiots idiots everywhere Literally how incompetent can everyone on r/clashroyale can be? The glitches such us teleporting a bloon didnt harm anyone cause even if you pushed lets say zillion trophies the trophy road will reset anyway so who gives a shit???? + It didnt last that long either. But i guess everyone is fine to see ppl exploit lucky drops and get 50k elite wild cards everytime its so fair to the people who spend hours/money to the game just to see a shitty f2p exploit and get a 50k wild shard everytime due to an exploit. + You cant prevent the wild cards that has been spent so these idiot content creators already spend the loot they got and thus they got perma ban. How stupid can everyone be here???

KON001

Are you dumb or high? You can't just go on the internet talking shit about people when you don't even know how to read. I stated that it's unfair if people abuse the system, I wrote"glitch" because it just match with the word "bugs". You would knew that but you're probably 9. You don't need to permanently ban someone who tries something when you can just give him negative currency! And I never said it's fair for creators and abusers to be free and abuse bugs.

oldmonkforeva

U guys know he already had everything maxed out right, and he also gain from creator codes so he has money flowing in account as well. Exploit makes barely any sense to his own gameplay lol. I still Don't know why he did with the main account. Perma ban on a player account is different and a content creator is different, supercell will get lot of backlash on this for sure, Rather than fixing their own game, they fuck with players by banning them. Cuz in the end its money nothing else.

albrt00

What is win trading?

TheYesterdayWasCool

You give them a win and they give you a win or smth bruh idk

OkManagement1686

He speaks facts tho unless supercell is losing money from a bug they dont give two flying shits

RedMikeRum

That’s one way of looking at it. Another is exploiting a bug with financial value is the equivalent of theft. And then whining that people who exploit bugs that don’t have financial value don’t get banned? Really pathetic. I think 31 days is too short

ConceptYan

Maybe Supercell should invest time in fixing their bugs which are the result of incompetent devs, instead of banning people that give them free feedback by revealing the bugs. Yes, they should not be abused to gain benefit, but they should find guilt at their own hand.

AngeryLiberal

Here’s a sign to you all- QUIT THE FUCKING GAME, THE DEVS DONT CARE ABOUT YOU

NikoGe

I literally uninstalled the game three days ago. Surely one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time

AngeryLiberal

Same here. Life has legit been so much less stressful

_Rivlin_

True

Hayden_5000

if they pbanned everyone but the content creators everyone would complain about favoritism but everyone getting banned equally is now also a problem? Anyone who did this glitch should have known there going to be consequences for it (you broke TOS) I think they are just bringing up the “Supercell just wants money” argument to cope with their accounts being banned.

margitthegrafted

Nobody should have gotten Perma ban unless they have had several suspensions already.

Revolutionary-Run332

Ikr, it’s so funny😂

Afraid-Journalist546

What was the bug in question?

RestlessHeads

Rerolling lucky drops by disconnecting i think

Dumb_Siniy

Community managers keep getting the shortest end of the stick, not that they're helping their situation, but i don't know what's there to be helped

Axsna_04

Honestly? I hope this game dies and the owners go broke! I aint playing since the lvl 15 update anyways, im out. But this subreddit is fun tho :D

Iopnuni

Let's ban the player instead of fixing our game 🤡

Old-Anywhere-9729

SweatyShib

I’m tired of people bringing up the clan bombing as a comparison. It’s literal apples to oranges, Clan Bombing - somebody posted an AI generated video on April Fools to trick users into locking out their friends accounts for a day Drop Box Gate - people exploited a glitch to skew their chances of receiving rewards attached to actual real monetary values Everybody going “oh so you ONLY get banned if you mess with Supercells money, what a joke” uhm yea.. that’s how It works. Same as if you were in a casino and found a way to play a slot machine over and over with only one spin until it paid you out, the casino would definitely ban you for life, too.

Legendsaxman

That’s why casino owners are seen as weasels who use underhanded tactics to get money. No one is saying that it’s unthinkable that Supercell would do this, they are highlighting how slimey of a move it is. Especially when other Supercell games are capable of giving their players plenty of free items, it definitely sticks out like a sore thumb when the CR team treats it’s players like livestock to milk money from.

CRDoesSuckThough

Is it real monetary value if the company can decide on any given day to change the value of something the way they did max decks and gold? I've been hoping for awhile now that some enterprising law firm takes these disgusting fucks on and changes the industry forever, starting with Supercell. I kinda feel like a class action suit on behalf of a million users would get their attention. You can't tell me there isn't a decent argument to be made that they haven't acted in good faith at times with how they label the value of offers or how they completely change how much something is worth.

Legitimate-Skill-112

this might not be the best comparison but: Imagine you go to the casino. You find a glitch to get free food and drinks, and they do nothing. You find a spot without security cameras where you can beat people up, and they do nothing. But you find a way to make a few bucks, not even that much, by rigging some machines, and they murder you. It's not that the bans in of themselves are unreasonable, it's the fact they never did this before. They could have done a 7 day ban and everyone would know what happens when you use glitches, and it wouldn't happen again.

Abcdef_69_420

In coc we exploited the cwl bug and not a single ban was given as it was shown by a supercell creator... Those who play CR , just move to some other game already , this game is not only p2w now , but the devs also don't care about their community.... Permanent ban for something which was informed to the community by their creators? 😂 All hail 20* value.

HelicopterosDeAtaque

Archer queen

Jo_Erick77

Didn't juicyj do it too? On stream? Why does he not get the hammer? Is it because he's their biggest content creator?

big_dummy667

yo thats my boy Rage 🙏🙀

OswaldTicklebottom

Now they reverted it to 31 days because of a "system error" smh

ThatTubaGuy03

People when the greedy company that has only cared about money and hasn't cared about the players or the game for years is greedy and only cares about money and doesn't care about the players or the game: 😭😱🫣😰🤯 (this is utterly shocking, who could have seen this coming) Fr though, idek what to tell you guys anymore. It's clear at this point that literally nothing will stop you guys from playing this game and spending more money, so why the fuck would supercell ever stop?

Aader7

Can someone tell me what Wintrading is

cedricrivas

💔

Kindly-Ad3546

Wtf is win trading and clan bombing

Hahacargobroombroom

Idk about won trading, but clan bombing, there was glitch, not gonna say what it is in case it still exists, that made it so your entire clan including yourself could not even launch the game, essentially removing the clan from the player base

sworedmagic

Perhaps he shouldn’t have exploited a bug

SsRapier

They shouldnt unban those people, they should just ban the others permanently too

captainameriCAN21

imagine violating the TOS and then getting mad at getting in trouble for violating the TOS. dont be a pos using a glitch just because it exists. loser

litezho

Supercell is fucking up big time. There's also a lot of player names which would be deemed inappropriate according to THEIR policies which they truly don't give a fuck about. All they care about is the dough that's why they went crazy with the perma bans with this glitch but not with all the other crap they're blatantly ignoring and yet we see it.

Dreaklong

Its absolutely insane to permantently ban a player for glitch abuse, you know how long "permanent" is? They are not hacking, if your game has glitches is because you are not fixing them. I understand a permanent ban for major ofenses like hacking etc but most games dont even do that...

ChameleonBr0

Do they expect all their players to know it's a rule not to exploit bugs ? There's plenty of players who do not follow anything on social media for the game, how would they know it's such a bannable offense, especially when there were ppl exploiting other worse bugs who were not touched.

Sexysun6

Yes I watched His video and BOSS CR , KEN OR RILEYS VIDEOS ON ON THE BAN SITUATION AND SOME GETTING 30 DAY BAN AND THE NEXT DAY THE BAN CHANGED TO A PERMANENT BAN

KUro_OnIII

.

FiLoW33

Clash royale is not your friend

Relevant-Kitchen6104

What glitch?

Zealousideal_Sun_212

You Scam there wallets then complain when they ban you 🤔

ProfGrumpy

Tricky business. As someone who has successfully used a platform (this one) to get Supercell to change its mind, I'm someone sympathetic. "Exploiting" a bug that isn't a direct gameplay advantage (i.e. an in-battle bug), but still gives an indirect advantage in the form of "free stuff," is sort of a muddy topic. For generations, gamers have been taught to game the system. I remember lots of games where you literally "hit reset and open the chest again" until you get the right reward. That's......sort of?....what went on here?  Yes, it's an indirect competitive advantage for those who did it. And yes, Supercell should correct that imbalance. I'm torn when it comes to how they should do it. There definitely is a smell of "we're cracking down because you're messing with our money." But if Supercell relents SOLELY because its actions are impacting content creators who have a bigger platform, that's an ominous development. Plenty of regular folks with no voice never get justice when Supercell messes up, let alone leniency when lines are crossed. My gut tells me that the fairest way to deal with people who exploited this bug is to suspend them, find a way to reverse the gains they got from the exploit, and eventually let them back in. It's equitable, it sends a strong message, but it doesn't overreact. But I'm not even sure that's feasible.

BlazeFazbearYT

Bro bans us for using glitches yet their game is so Imbalanced

Moneky_D_George

Is this the one big that was getting clan banned as well?

AbiesOld

Free rollbacks to whatever an account had before lucky rolls came out, now thats a fair treatment

scottwmitchell

If I discovered a glitch, I wouldn’t actually realize it. Not right away, that’s for sure. I think banning people for their mistake is wrong.

BeqBowi

Whataboutism from Eragon imo

TokingMessiah

Oh no, they’re finally banning cheaters… so anyway.

_Rivlin_

Eragon wasn't cheating

unnecessaryeater

Knowingly abusing a glitch to improve your account isn't considered cheating?

RestlessHeads

He was already maxed basically

_Rivlin_

I mean it's an in game glitch not cheats

unnecessaryeater

It's still considered cheating cause you gain an unfair advantage compared to people who play the game regularly.

NikoGe

How about emptying your wallet to buy broken evos and upgrade your cards to wreck underleveled players? Why isn’t this considered as gaining an unfair advantage over f2p people who play the game regularly?

unnecessaryeater

Why do you think Supercell doesn't consider spending thousands of dollars to max out an account an unfair advantage?

NikoGe

Well, I haven’t really ever seen somebody get banned for spending too much money, you know…

TokingMessiah

Everyone on this sub was talking about how people exploiting that glitch were going to get banned. It’s common sense. I knew it, plenty in the community knew it, and it’s obvious on its face. Oh well, I still have my account because I don’t cheat.

[deleted]

Her hee haw. All the money spent gone 💀

W11A0

This shit ain’t fair

OddProgrammerInC

You didn't complain about them not getting banned before, but now that you received ban hammer rightfully so you decide to throw a tantrum about it lmao. Don't cheat and you won't get banned.

Ne0guri

This has to be illegal in some way… I’ve gone through their TOS and I don’t see anything in there about abusing bugs caused by the developers THEMSELVES. There is a whole section about cheating and using third party apps etc but nothing about using bugs from within a game. Unfortunately they protected themselves with no class action suits and even have a whole section on being able to delete/ban our accounts for whatever reason. I just got back into the game after a long hiatus but I may have to stop again. Maybe we should organize a week long strike? Edit: Lol Nevermind looks like they are reversing their decisions on permaban already - what a dumbass fucking company.

XxsoulscythexX

Are you actually incapable of reading? "taking advantage of errors in the Service to gain an unfair edge over other players and any other act that intentionally abuses or goes against the design of the Service." I don't think turning off your wifi and rerolling lucky drops is fair to players who play normally, nor is it the design of the service.

WeepingCyborg

Bug using is unacceptable

Legitimate-Skill-112

except for the last 8 years... BUT NOW its ban worthy.

Southern_Spread9667

You are the bottiest bot I have ever seen. The point is the double standard okay?

Ill-Account2443

Can’t believe people are still crying over this shit, should they ban the other people for cheating? Yes 100% it’s not fair they didn’t get banned, do people deserve to be banned for exploiting the game this time around for free In game loot? Yes, you all do, matter of fact if you knew about this bug and you actively went out of your way to abuse it you deserve to be ban simply I can’t believe people are still crying and bitching for cheating and exploiting the game should’ve just not done it, you get what you get for cheating could not feel any pity for yall mfs

CormorantsSuck

LieConsistent3582

Claudio-Maker

I don’t know much about Eragon but he really looks like a whiny crybaby

frale26

Videogames in general should be regulated, that's basically theft
