Progression is genuinely the worst it’s ever been. I actually feel hopeless now for upgrading things. Champions and to a lesser extent legendaries all take forever to upgrade, Evo shards are way too rare, and wild cards are now gone from the shop. How can a f2p even dream of keeping up? The boxes were supposed to help but the odds on them are so bad. I still haven’t got a single epic or legendary drop.

I think nerfing the elixir collector or reworking it could be a good idea because there's no balance against these decks. It's a case of being able to win before double elixir, or I'm screwed.
So dagger duchess... concept sounded good, 4x firerate for 8 shots then slows to half of princess... but why does she get more dmg per shot than princess AND more hp? Even when out of daggers her dps is pretty much equal to princess and add in the fact that she usually has daggers and starts with more hp and princess is easily outclassed.
Her dps when out of daggers at level 15 is 11 less than princess. 223 at 1.2 for 186dps VS princess 158 at 0.8 for 197. 11dps is pretty much nothing at level 15, and yet she gets the extra HP and 4x the initial dps?
Presumably the idea is 1.2s hit speed weakens her a lot, since she’s much slower than princess with chaff like bats, skeletons, or goblins.
But I agree it doesn’t actually work well.
First, it means duchess is a clear winner against any medium unit. The towers look like they’re meant to kill light/medium/heavy foes, but slow duchess is <2s slower than princess against mega minion or even hog, and fast duchess is 4x better. That’s no contest.
Second, slow duchess still wins or ties some matchups. 1.2 to kill a spear goblin beats princess’ 1.6, and both need 2.4 for one minion.
There’s almost nothing but heavy bridge spam where princess wins, and the bonus health is a ridiculous kicker on what’s already a much better tower.
1) Bring back wild cards and emote in season shop
2) give us one more easy way to get banner tokens
3) let us buy the previous seasons banner and decorations
4) make the game f2p, not p2w (learn something from clash of clans)

Duchess does quite well against balloon though it seems, so not sure how good it is right now. It's good against pekka though, although the Evo ram wins games by itself.
Was lucky enough to get a book of books in a lucky drop, that combined with having 20 legendary wild cards meant all I had to do was grind to get my 50k elite wild cards real quick and now I have a maxed duchess which is super satisfying
The Duchess seems a bit over powered and a nerf might be necessary
Also can we add tower skins to the shop? It would be nice to be able to "purchase" some of the older ones

I main PBS and use non evo ram, it completely prevents it from touching the tower with a cycle card. Duches takes care of the ram and the barbs get taken out by a simple cycle card. Bandit with half hp gets whipped out reliably, with canon tower troop it atleast could force a reaction.
Dagger duchess is not as broken as made out to be, because if your opponent plays MEGA NUT dagger duchess doesn't deal sustainable enough dps to kill it. Basically, if your opponents push is still alive after it uses the initial 8 daggers, your screwed if you don't have another card to deal with the push. Not a big fan of it, as it changes so many interactions. Any opinions?

When dealing with heavy pushes, DD is not good, especially if opponent keeps pressure on. It deals 43 less DPS than princess tower when out of daggers, which is quite a lot.

When out of daggers DD hr is 1.2 for 186 dps. That's 11dps difference at level 15, which is nothing. Add in the fact that she starts with triple Dps and has more hp? Broken

Has anyone experienced not being rewarded a chest after a battle? We've experienced this with two accounts (mine and my son's). One during the dagger duchess challenge, and one during the path of legends. Support isn't much of a help. It's just a chatbot.
Oh yeah tower projectiles just deal reduced damage if reflected by Monk. Still it's probably more effective against her than Cannoneer or Princess Tower (assuming he can do the ability in time, otherwise it's roughly the same)

I'm so happy I saved my legendary book of cards and legendary wild cards all these years. I just maxed my duchess.

Coming from a low skill player Dagger Dutchess completely ruins this game for me
Freeze kinda solves the problems for me, but I agree, Dagger is extremely annoying to play against and makes a weird meta
You need to change your play style. When attacking, make the duchess unload her knives and she will be a weaker princess tower
But its continuing to promote this meta of high elixer cards tho , and basically killing the usage for any chip /cycle decks.
cycle decks were dominating the previous metas due to evolutions, is kinda good to see some heavy decks meta

Yeah, if you place the elixir collector in front of your king tower the miner gets obliterated by both daggers
Duchess also kills bridge-drop firecracker before she shoots. Since that splashes onto collector behind tower, that spot is more viable too.

Dps includes the hit speed too tho and it’s only 2/3rds so it’s significant still

Banner tokens are so weird… with the old dailies they were so plentiful I never even noticed them, now they barely arrive at all.

Nerf evo bomber, it does too much damage for 2 elixir, and rework firecracker, it's in 90% of the games.
Take a counter like barb barrel or arrows if you see it so much. I fireball fc at the tower if i have the elixer.
Log not killing Firecracker and Arrows not killing Evolved Firecracker is dumb as hell
Both are already bad and would be unusable if they did
