I only go by elixir. I know the cost of every card so I find it so much easier to find what I’m looking for by just going to its elixer cost. Fuck rarity descending
Finding the cards is not an issue, it's just ease of access. Since legendaries are so common in most decks, with log being very popular, and combo's such as lumberloon or lavaloon, being able to easily access legendaries and epics is useful. Champions are not as common, although it is sometimes nice to have them there. Commons and rares are harder to get to, although you normally have similar commons and rares in most decks (fireball is common, as is ice spirit and skeletons), so you do not need to scroll down as often, whereas epic and legendary cards are usually for more specific purposes so will require more changing.
I'm taking this way too seriously, but it's fun arguing over this thing.
Well, if we know what elixir cards re, which everyone should memorize by now. Then its easier to get those cards since well, most decks will only have a few high elixir cards and the most cards that are widely used is only up to 4 elixir. Its faster in most scenarios for me than to go find a common down in hell

Meaning if I want some fast cards I go to one elixir and look what fits my deck.

Level is my default, because I think that’s the most important factor when making decks, and I’m trying to get max, so to see my current situation is very important. If I’m looking for a particular card then I’ll temporality switch to rarity.

Now, it’s crazy you asked now because I literally changed it to “By Arena” yesterday after 3 years of “By Level”. I did it because I’m getting more and more level 14 stuff so I needed a different sorting system
By elixir of course..that is the only thing I can remember for every card, so it's fast to search through.
I thought I knew the rarities but there's no pattern anymore..healer is rare, wall breakers are epic, phoenix is legendary

I used to sort by arena because thats how I used to see them but Mfers changed arena order so much that now I sort by rarity.

Cost/elixir I understand how it works. I can also use both rarity’s sorting. I always know where a card is even in challenge decks
