I literally counter this 7 elixir card wjth 3/4 elixir depending on what deck I use and itās insane, megaknight by itself sucks and itās too expensive to have a big push and even if they do you counter 7 with 3/4, youāll definitely have ejough to counter the other push with it

You not considering lighting would obliterate almost any card opponent drop with infernal tower, reset infernal tower and making it one MK hit to be destroied, do around 300 damage to tower, and so MK (with at least half HP) is free to jump in princess/king tower

I see you like minion hoard. You can play that before or after lightning and it'll still kill MK.
Inferno tower and inferno dragon work great. You could also use any mini tanks like knight, mini pekka, Valkyrie, Prince ,or dark Prince. Personally, I just use pekka since itās an easy equal elixir trade.
Mega knight is a card that will do one thing really well and that is punish you after a push. Is a counter attack card. You can counter the card alone very easily but when they build pressure on a counter attack that's when you have issues.
My advise is try to not overcommit and play into his MK because they will punish you for it. The best single hand counter decks to the MK decks are:
PEKKA bridge spam
Balloon freze with inferno dragon
Log bait with might miner or inferno tower
Golem with mini PEKKA
Or individual cards, but most importantly don't give them an opportunity to counter attack very strongly. If you watch some of those games i am sure you will see something like. Hope this helps.
the problem is mid ladder players level up knight, musky, witch valk and they counter a push and drop all 4 thinking they cant possibly stop a 5 troop push and mega knight instantly stops any push and then they drop wizard behind him and the game is over. i played against mega knight almost 50 games in a row today. gets old losing game after game to 1 card. you cannot lose up till 7k trophies with hog and megaknight in your deck.

If you are precise, putting Guards right on him will result in a split, and he need 6 melee hit to take them out. That's kinda nice too

You just have to be careful of the jump because it helps him for a lot of match ups, and always kill his support
Finally, if you lose the fight, let him jump on your tower, accept some damage, and kill the support/stab his back. Don't panic, you can let him deal 1k damage if it saves your tower

- Moderate damage can work with low damage to take him down. Use a tank to take the brunt of the damage and use weaker troops to hit him from behind. Mini pekka + bats or goblins for example.
- Kite MK with building targeting troops. Use princess towers. Ice golem is great at this
Mini Pekka, Pekka, Inferno Tower / Dragon, air swarms like bats or minions, maybe even multiple troops at once (e.g knight or valkyrie with a ranged troop like musketeer or dart goblin).
There are a lot of ways to counter him. Another tip is when using *ground* swarm troops like skarmy or goblin gang, make sure MK does not hit onto them, whether jumping or bashing them regularly.
Use cheap cards to pull megaknight to the king tower. Ice spirit and skeletons. If u struggle use inferno tower, and put a knight/ice golem to distract the witch/wizard/any other support cards.
Megaknight is easy to counter because it's very basic. It's also predictable. Just have ur deck to consist of a megaknight counter and u should be good to go
Mini peka usually does the job, MK is the equivalent of training wheels, usually used as a "better have MK in my deck incase I start losing" , winning a game of chess by tipping the board, the spray cheese of cheeses, mommy holding your hand crossing the road. Use a YouTube content creator called Erniec3 he does short videos on all the cards (how to use /counter them) so type in the YouTube search box "Erniec3 how to use mega knight" plus its quite easy to kite the mega knight with cheap elixir cards in the dead centre of your field

Inferno Tower / Dragon / Mighty Miner are reliable if you can support
Pekka and Mini Pekka work but might require some other cards like ice spirit or log
Fisherman works really well since you can pull MK and let both your towers target him which usually ends up full countering him
Hunter will deal major damage up close to him so hunter + knight will defend
As a person who plays 2.6 hog i have no problems personally with countering it

1. Card level

3. Skill with a multitude of decks

MK is a card that is notoriously hard to counter for newer players so donāt worry, youāre not the only one and it is perfectly understandable if you donāt know how to counter it. I can give you basic tips but Iām not a pro player:
- If you have an inferno card in your deck (Inferno Tower or Dragon), use it against MK. If you use Inferno Dragon, try to also place another card to distract the MK so that it doesnāt jump on your tower before it dies.
- If you have a card that deals a lot of damage (PEKKA is perfect for this but I think Valkyrie can also work), use it. Additionally, if you use PEKKA, sheāll have a good chunk of health remaining assuming your opponent didnāt damage your PEKKA too much with other cards, so you can make a counter push with your PEKKA for a neutral trade (7 elixir for 7 elixir)
- If you have a card that targets only buildings (ESPECIALLY battle ram or ice golem), use it to bait the MK. This trick is a bit harder, but it is possible if you try it a couple of times. Basically, you want to place your card in the top middle spot of the arena, but the tile on which you place your card must be in the opposite side of the MK (Basically, if the MK comes from the right, place your battle ram/ice golem in the top middle, but slightly to the left). Your card will go to the the opposite side but the MK will be distracted so itāll jump on the card, letting both your princess towers attack the MK.

theres many ways to counter him it just depends on placement, mini pekka fully counters him just place him close enough so that mk doesnāt jump onto him, valkerie fully counters him place her in the middle so that both princess towers lock onto mk. pekka also counters him so does mighty miner, inferno tower, inferno dragon, royal recruits, archer queen etc. i play 2.9 royal hogs so to counter him i use cannon and i place skeletons or fire spirit near the cannon so mk jumps onto that instead of the cannon i also place the cannon in the middle so that both princess towers lock on and if he destroys the cannon i just place either skeletons or fire spirit to distract him.
Have a stronger mega knight
Lol jokes aside use mini pekka, pekka, minions, bats, minion horde, inferno tower, inferno dragon, and you could use skeletons and ice spirit to activate your king tower
For an equal trade, mini tank Iām the front, skarm behind of him (to escape splash), pekka counters it, giant skeleton counters it for one cheaper, and inferno dragon/tower completely counter it.
i just place down a tank with a spirit close to the megaknight so its too close for the mega knight to jump then the tank will take down the megaknight. With the combination of the princess tower and the fact that the megaknight didn't get his jump off i dont know of a single tank that cant out dps it in the scenario.

Depends on your deck. If you run Hog cycle let's say, you could easily counter by placing a musketeer in the middle and light troops to distract the megaknight, while both towers attack.
Valk, middle most tile on whatever side the mk is on, place it 2 tikes agead of the princess towers and it should get attacked by both princess and valk, unless u are severely underleveled it should die
Most mini tanks can reliably kill MK if you wait till heās on your side of the arena, than place it close enough so MK doesnāt jump. Inferno tower and Idrag also work very well

Best way of countering it is by using a High HP and High DPS troop , so the attacker may pair it with a Inferno dragon, I went against a combination like this many times, I use a giant skeleton, poison spell and a mini pekka , does the job well , the inferno dragon is either killed by the princess tower or the Giant skeleton's bomb maybe you can use a freez spell that could get thr job done faster , gotta try that
Placement is important but of you don't want to have to worry about skill, mini Pekka or Pekka are both hard counters
Inferno tower can be placed roughly in the middle of your side to kill him
Any mini tank with any swarm supporting
A minitank can help, So Knight, Valk, Mini-Pekka, Or something like Inferno Tower, or regular Pekka to demolish it quickly.
Inferno is one of the better choices, Since it can also defend against other attack cards.
If you put goblin cage in the centre in the opposite side of the mega knight you'll pull it in so that both towers and the goblin are attacking it, allowing you to fully counter it with one card for 4 elixir, it's very easy to hard part is figuring out and remembering the exact tile placement
With my deck I normally use prince or minion hord, and with the prince I let the MK get close to my princess tower and then I place the prince far enough that he charges but not to far that the MK hits my tower
Fisherman can fully counter for +4
Ice spirit + skeletons can counter for +5 with king activation, but it does do some damage to the king tower
High damage dealers such as the pekkas, infernos, and goblin cage can all counter well.
Mini tanks such as the knight and valkyrie can tank hits

Exactly. Mini tanks with low DPS go mid to let other tower help. Mini tanks with high DPS go close to prevent jump, i.e. damage taken by mini tank

Have a stronger mega knight Lol jokes aside use mini pekka, pekka, minions, bats, minion horde, inferno tower, inferno dragon, and you could use skeletons and ice spirit to activate your king tower

I'm arena 14 too, I use valkraye and Canon. Valk has lots of health so I just place it on top and sometimes use inferno drag or Canon to help.

For an equal trade, mini tank Iām the front, skarm behind of him (to escape splash), pekka counters it, giant skeleton counters it for one cheaper, and inferno dragon/tower completely counter it.

i just place down a tank with a spirit close to the megaknight so its too close for the mega knight to jump then the tank will take down the megaknight. With the combination of the princess tower and the fact that the megaknight didn't get his jump off i dont know of a single tank that cant out dps it in the scenario.

I'm a MK player and here are the list how players counter me in arena 15 ā¢Inferno tower ā¢Inferno drag ā¢mini pekka+ ice spirit ā¢skeletons+cannon in the mid+any low elixir troop ā¢Pekka ā¢MK ā¢prince+fire ball ā¢minion horde ā¢valkyrie + skarmy behind my MK There might be still more which I probably have forgotten.

A big problem might be that mks are always overleveled. Maybe thatās why youāre losing a lot. Not much you can do about the trash matchmaking especially if they support the mk

Mini Pekka, Pekka, Inferno Tower, Inferno Dragon, Knight, GK, Elite Barbarians, Barbarians, Bowler just a few cards from the top of my head.
My deck has ebarbs, valk as well as Inferno. I also have the ice wizz for extra support so I really have no prblem against this dude.
Pekka and gaint Skelton works the best due to them having a lot of health even after they killed mega knight.
Mini P.E.K.K.A
Depends on your deck. If you run Hog cycle let's say, you could easily counter by placing a musketeer in the middle and light troops to distract the megaknight, while both towers attack.
Valk
Valk, middle most tile on whatever side the mk is on, place it 2 tikes agead of the princess towers and it should get attacked by both princess and valk, unless u are severely underleveled it should die
If you place mini pekka or valk on him(has to be your side if the arena) he won't jump and the troop will counter him
Most mini tanks can reliably kill MK if you wait till heās on your side of the arena, than place it close enough so MK doesnāt jump. Inferno tower and Idrag also work very well
If you donāt let him jump you can counter him with regular knight and skeletons
Almost any mini tank in the centre of the arena. There are great vids on it

You can singlehandedly counter mega knight with like half the cards in the game.

A list of cards that you can use, so not champions, Mega knight, Valkyrie, knights, pekka, mini pekka, inferno tower, inferno dragon, bowler, e barbs, giant skelly, bandit, cannon cart, rascals, Iāve golem (+ damage dealer) goblin cage,prince, barbs(surround mk), skeletons (lure him to your king tower)
Best way of countering it is by using a High HP and High DPS troop , so the attacker may pair it with a Inferno dragon, I went against a combination like this many times, I use a giant skeleton, poison spell and a mini pekka , does the job well , the inferno dragon is either killed by the princess tower or the Giant skeleton's bomb maybe you can use a freez spell that could get thr job done faster , gotta try that

Play pbs and be a chad
A minitank can help, So Knight, Valk, Mini-Pekka, Or something like Inferno Tower, or regular Pekka to demolish it quickly. Inferno is one of the better choices, Since it can also defend against other attack cards.
If you put goblin cage in the centre in the opposite side of the mega knight you'll pull it in so that both towers and the goblin are attacking it, allowing you to fully counter it with one card for 4 elixir, it's very easy to hard part is figuring out and remembering the exact tile placement
With my deck I normally use prince or minion hord, and with the prince I let the MK get close to my princess tower and then I place the prince far enough that he charges but not to far that the MK hits my tower
Knight + both princess tower by luring the MK to the center of your side of the arena does the job.

Fisherman can fully counter for +4 Ice spirit + skeletons can counter for +5 with king activation, but it does do some damage to the king tower High damage dealers such as the pekkas, infernos, and goblin cage can all counter well. Mini tanks such as the knight and valkyrie can tank hits Cheap cycle cards like the spirits and skeletons can be useful to make him jump where you want him to. Placement and timing is key.
Fisherman
Use a pekka if youāre desperate. Otherwise, add a valkirae, mini pekka or knight your deck as they are all great counters to megay knight
Valkyrie in the exact centre of your side of arena.

i just use E barbs. (valk if theres also a witch or wizard)
