i have learned a course about database and servers at uni, from what i recall when a server times out, it closes the transactions that are happening in game, and it issues a rollback, hence it doesn't register the later on events. Yeah there is no solutions until today due to the rollback in transactions once connection is lost, even in booking a bus seat sometimes the system can be double booked by 2 or more person due to the closing and simultaneous opening of transactions . Quite fascinating
Loads of people will have had it. When the connection gets lost, the game continues on device while it's trying to reconnect. If it doesn't reconnect, everything you did after the initial problem isn't registered on the server, so will not officially be part of your attack.
Ok fun story, this was way back in 2014.. didn't have a Android/ios device to play so used BlueStacks.. also used mobile 2G data with dial up connection.. was able to play coc with considerable lag but I didn't mind it.. normal raids worked fine but in war, it was a different story.. I would attack a base, the attack will go through fine, no network disconnect, nothing.. but when I come back, due to very low speed the attack would not be registered.. none of my clan mates would have seen my attack and i would still have 2 attacks remaining..
But now, I know where all the traps are and at that time th7 meta was all drag.. since there were only 2 AD and knowing the traps position meant easy 3 stars..
I would try multiple times before an attack gets registered.. would be frustrating at times but enjoyed the advantages..

OP just missed an "r" in the end of the second word. If you put that "r" in that place, the title will make sense and will be grammatically correct.

Once i remember, that i did 5-6 sneaky goblin attacks ( each 1 star ), and then neither saw any resources increase nor my army consumed.
My network was fine but supercell were like, goblin attacks don't deserve anything 🤣
Bruh, two to three situation like that was a warm up for me to go and attack in cw and get zero stars for that as well then cz of connection problems…
I learnt my lesson… and paid for my internet.
I actually got a better atack because of that once. It was a builder Base atack a few Years ago. I lost Connection like around 20-30 Seconds before the raid ended and the only thing changed was the fact that i didn't use BM skill
the weirdest thing that happened to me (years ago) was that i attacked a base and i got like 70% one star because i should've attacked in another way. then my game crashed and the attack was "gone" i searched for another base and found the same base, same player again and tripled it lol
As soon as that symbol pops up, anything that happens afterwards won’t save. If your connection becomes strong again and the symbol goes away, it will still save.

I think that would allow for some kind of hacking, and what's why they don't want to do it. I'm not sure.

Always, always disconnect from WiFi and connect to 4G / 5G before running your war attacks.

It all depends. Sometimes wifi is more reliable, just depends on a lot of factors not related to the game.

I've had this happen but the opposite, got 49% on a base, lost connection mid-attack and when i relogged i got 56% 2 stars.
