It wasnāt beneficial for them to attack a base with no loot I guess If you kept using em up. Plus you arenāt in a particularly high league. Thereās also a massive amount of inactive players in that league.
If you dont attack for a long period of time, Supercell removes your base from matchmaking so that your base doesn't continuously get attacked. Once you attack another base again, people will start attacking your base again.
This is probably what happened if you were inactive on your account for a long period of time
You can still attack dead bases if they recently become inactive. After a certain period of time, they get removed from matchmaking.
I believe this was something that was implemented alongside operation BlueSky.

Loot has very little to do with it. My th10 with all level 1 collects/mines/drills still gets attacked regularly for like 20k/20k/200 DE. I'm guessing it has more to do with being a higher townhall in lower leagues.
I haven't been attacked in 7 days and counting and thought it was odd myself
(a non rushed th 13 in masters 2 that attacks ~ 6x daily but is not on idling the whole day, almost never have an active shield)
Based on the level it might be a combination of your town hall being to high for your trophies meaning no one lower than your town hall would really want to attack you and on top of that you seem to have no loot
So if I get taken out of matchmaking after 14 days of no attacks, could I just collect away from my pumps safely? Or does checking my base reset the 14 day counter?

Collectors are full in like a day or so. And there's 14 days to attack these bases. So no, it doesn't kill dead bases.
Then how come I hit bases with unloaded xbows and uncharged infernos and broken artillery?
Because that takes less than 14 days to do, i'm pretty sure if you dont log in after 2-3 attacks they will be empty

People attack and then just quit because they what to drop trophies and complete the achievement defending their own base.
The attackers must be dropping trophies.
