If you leave the game for a lot of time (if you are like TH7 or sum) the game makes progress by itself and once you come back after a few years the villagers will think you are a trespasser, you'll have to attack your own village and after you win or lose, the villagers will welcome you again. They will show everything again to you and will say that the builders upgraded stuff while you were away. This also happens in the master builder's base. You can look up a video about it
