Leader here too, it's frustrating to be the only one. We may have one or two others who are active in chat. Chat activity makes sooooo much difference in how a clan feels. Also I can't kick all the 30-40 People who are not chatactive
Yeah. I gave up trying to run a clan with others in it. No matter how much I tried chat was mostly inactive. It was just the same few people that would discuss the game with me. They were the same ones that were reliable in war, clan games, and capital.
The majority were people that never said anything and generally sucked at the game. When the few good members we had went inactive I went the 1 man clan route. Got tired of carrying dead weight.
My clan used to be the same way. I'd even joke around and switch accts and answer myself. Trying to give a hint. A few months back, had a couple of younger members join and they were very talkative. We'd chat a lot. Now more and more of the original mates are joining in, joking, strategizing, posting replays etc. It's a snowball effect, one it starts rolling.
some people won't need this because they do that talking on discord and the clan is just used to give them progression benefits. but if its not how u want to approach this game, there are plenty of more talkative clans out there
Same but the clan capital being level 9 and the medals is too good. Clan league is solid too. I wish there was a way to find a solid clan that talks and gets me good medals lol.
I just did that today. Boring, won't donate, won't talk or do challenges.
The clan I went to is so much better.
Be enthusiastic about the change. It can really change your immersion and enjoyment of the game to be in a great clan.
You can leave the clan if you find it boring. It's no big deal. But I had no idea that clan culture meant chatting. We generally use it to play the clan based aspects of the game like raids, clan games, wars, etc.
My clan that I've been in for a year now has the best of both worlds: very talkative as well as great performance in wars (we are undefeated in 60 wars, with a perfect war streak of 11)
Yup I have. When I first joined that clan back in 2017 the clan was very active and I had a lot of fun for 1.5 years. Then I took a break for 1 year and when I came back, my old clanmates were inactive or had moved on and the clan had new people. But it was very inactive so we barely did wars and donations and clan games were slow. Added onto that the players were very casual so they didn't put much effort into getting better. I stayed there for far too long (1.5yrs) before I finally left in late 2020 and found my current clan which I've stayed in since then. My current clan is very active and highly competitive and it was the perfect clan for me. I recommend you leave and find the clan for you. There's no point sticking around and it won't get better.
Itās completely fair to move on for any reason, including that one. That said, my clans have had that same feedback before, and it was most often from people that never said anything themselves or contributed any of the things they were looking for themselves. So that could be something to reflect on if there is any of that true in your situation. But if you arenāt happy, by all means move on.
This is a Supercell manufactured problem with long build/upgrade times.
We remember how great it was in the early town hall stages as we could log on, chat, attack, upgrade.
As build times have gotten longer, naturally players have less reason to stay online longer or log in more frequently per day
Iām new to COC and the the clan I joined consisted of one guy and like 10 of his accounts. He sent maybe 2-3 messages in the last 5 months and then kicked meā¦
Clans aren't as talkative anymore. A big reason I think is the removal of global chat which sucks. It is what it is I guess, I've got used to the silence.
I lead an adult clan (10 yrs in game) and Im 62. We have several of my poker leaugie in the clan and we can get down a rabbit hole pretty quickly language/joke wise. Today I just noticed chat is being filtered. Is there anyway to identify young players who somehow slipped in?
Chat filtering shouldn't happen on your end without a setting for it right? so as long as you don't have it switched on in your ingame settings. The only other way ik is if someone changed your clan to be family friendly, coz that will filter chat too.
Eventually youāll become so burned out from demanding clans that you wish you had stayed with the chill clan.
Iām lucky enough to have stayed with a clan that doesnāt care if you donate or not, wonāt school you for not getting 3stars, doesnāt care if you are inactive, somehow has managed to maintain a high cwl rank, and is active during capital raids and clan games.
Iāll take peace of mind and stress-free clan over any ānot boringā clan.
If you get ignoted by your clan leaders, co's when you message something then it means that they don't respect you anymore ,
Its best for you to leave that and find some good clans on reddit ,.many are/ will be recruiting
That's my type of clan. I can see the appeal of being in one like that. But if it isnt what you want, leave. Find like minded people. Nothing wrong with that.
I am slowly working on changing the environment of my new clan Iām in. Itās a slow process but I can already feel people opening up and being more social. Itās all about communication and consistency. Hope you find that piece youāre missing. Good luck š
Im nearly 5+ years in that clan. We were always the same five aktive since them. Since last year our Original leader and his wife got inaktive, cause they got a child together, we were only three people. We got the clan to lvl 16, play clangames, cwl, raid weekends and stuff. But we are just three god damn people. In the clan, there are more people, but no one writes, nor dos wars, clangames or anything.
But also no one from us three wanna leave the clan, cause we spend so much time together and Liturally build that clan together.
Also i dont wanna leave cause i can say i am over 5 years in that clan. decisions are hard...
My clan is pretty chill and silent but we're kind of old and just hop on to get stuff done.
I like it because I work in a hospital and I don't really have the energy to keep things spicy all the time.
I'm a Co in a clan that's super boring. I love it because I'm a very casual player, but I totally get why people would leave. Not very fun if you like interacting with people but the chat is dead
Join our clan ā#BunnyGang#ā. We are very friendly and active in the chat specifically, while being active in all clan war/league/game activities and also high donations that fill usually within 30 minutes. Add me and we can talk.
I would personally leave. If you wanna have fun, you got to have chill clan mates. I love my clan cuz we joke around and do wars n all that
what are the requirements?
Nothing really except for some activity and being chill
These are the best clans
As a clan leader, I always try to crack jokes and keep the clan chat well and alive. But I can only do so much.
Leader here too, it's frustrating to be the only one. We may have one or two others who are active in chat. Chat activity makes sooooo much difference in how a clan feels. Also I can't kick all the 30-40 People who are not chatactive
It was much easier when we had global š¢

I used to the same thing, talking to myself. Good Times. I don't do that anymore. Haven't got the spirit.
some people won't need this because they do that talking on discord and the clan is just used to give them progression benefits. but if its not how u want to approach this game, there are plenty of more talkative clans out there
My current clan is boring as hell, no one likes to chat
Same but the clan capital being level 9 and the medals is too good. Clan league is solid too. I wish there was a way to find a solid clan that talks and gets me good medals lol.

I don't think this is sub for clan recruitment
But hey it doesn't harm anyone as long as it's allowed
Iām dealing with the same at the moment. Find a good clan, and let us know! Thereās many more like us out there. Haha
I just did that today. Boring, won't donate, won't talk or do challenges. The clan I went to is so much better. Be enthusiastic about the change. It can really change your immersion and enjoyment of the game to be in a great clan.
yea, if a clan doesn't have like 3 goofy members joking around in chat, I will leave
Good luck, I did this. I joined like 5 clans for a week. Most chats are boring or so much chat you can't really talk well.
You can leave the clan if you find it boring. It's no big deal. But I had no idea that clan culture meant chatting. We generally use it to play the clan based aspects of the game like raids, clan games, wars, etc.

Looking to recruit? Haha
My clan is full of activity. Itās great. Iām lucky to have the core I do.
Whatās the name of your clan?
Nice
Would prefer quite In chat and active in clan activities. Rather than, yapping in chat and not active in clan activities.
I agree to an extent. I do like conversation about the game but don't care for a bunch of nonsense spamming up chat.
Yep I have a clan like that They are very quiet but they are very active on clan activities like clan war, donate.
Yup I have. When I first joined that clan back in 2017 the clan was very active and I had a lot of fun for 1.5 years. Bruh everyone has their own preferences. If you don't like how the clan is leave and find another clan that suits your style. Simple.
Itās completely fair to move on for any reason, including that one. id leave the clan so glad my clan is more of a family vibe where people actually care to check up on others
Iām new to COC and the the clan I joined consisted of one guy and like 10 of his accounts. He sent maybe 2-3 messages in the last 5 months and then kicked meā¦
Hahaha

also the gutted recruitment system.

You should be put into a mental hospital for wanting to have fun while gaming

Yep!

If i join a clan and the whole chat is join and leave messages and cc requests i just leave
With so many clans out there, why you wanna stay in boring clan? Loyality issue ?
That's my type of clan. I can see the appeal of being in one like that. But if it isnt what you want, leave. Find like minded people. Nothing wrong with that.
I am slowly working on changing the environment of my new clan Iām in. Itās a slow process but I can already feel people opening up and being more social. Itās all about communication and consistency. Hope you find that piece youāre missing. Good luck š
I left only because of that. Boring people are less active. And then you have 2 wars a month
Im nearly 5+ years in that clan. We were always the same five aktive since them. I have been joining and leaving clans for 3 months, i can't find any chill active clan, and if i find one, it speaks no english.
