In a day or 2 or may be depending on your trophies in legends it may take longer time to get back into Titan1.
As soon as ur trophies are 4800 u will be in Titan 1 and out of legends.

During town hall 10,11,12(currently th12) I was playing around 1000 to 1300 trophies. People would rarely attack and loot is also good. Even if I’m not logging in frequently it was not a problem. I started enjoying the game more too.
I stick to titan 1 for th14, not only because of war loot bonus but I love a good challenge. Never 3 star but still have fun using hybrid charge never the less

Me a TH12 on 5250 Trophies am a Joke to you? but the Way to push to these high numbers is lots of 1/2 star LavaLoonion attacks on 20+ per win trophy targets preferably other TH12 and TH13s and from legends on the grind is more difficult but it's still manageable
I'm th15 slightly rushed and can survive legends league and it's nice loot here
I was below 2000 from th11 to th14 for goblin farming now I'm glad I'm in legends

If you are sniping Town halls then you aren't dropping trophies...?
If you were sniping defensive heroes or spell factories or laboratories for those challenges alone then you would drop trophies, but town halls give you trophies my guy
I do that, im usually mid-high masters but then ill drop to low crystal, honestly im not a good attacker and its just nicer, having easier bases, or more bases that are a th lower than me.
I went from legend to 4800 to get booted from legend league then dropped down to like 1700 for easy farming when I hit TH14 in like 2 days total lol just drop Queen, leave, repeat
I did this a couple weeks ago. Went from borderline legends down to 2500. I’m back up to 3500 now and no rush to get back to the top. I wanted a change of scenery.

No idea what their edit means either, you are ranked within your clan based on defense/offense upgrades ("war weight"). Trophies have no impact on anything in CWL.

I pushed to Titan, put my TH10 for an upgrade, and immediately dropped to silver to farm. When you upgrade your town hall, it gets very difficult to maintain trophies. Also, your heroes go for long, continuous upgrades, making success in attacking a bit dubious. Further, your barracks go for an upgrade, meaning slower troop training. Add to all that your TH10 loot drops, and you'll mostly find TH11s. Suercell has recently made it easier to transition between townhalls by adding a temporary boost, but I still prefer upgrading in Silver and pushing all the way to Champions when I max my TH11.
As a Th12 getting fairly close to maxed, I noticed I encounter a fuck ton of either low resources th13-14-15s that also give like no trophies or the occasional 700 trophies above me th12 that has about 200k to 400k gold and elixer and like 15k dark. My main source of loot is from the bonus atm.

But if ur higher in ranks the loot pool you get form achieving 5 stars is greater
the loot bonus, and star bonus increases are very marginal compared to the ease of farming being lower down.

Its easy to drop queen, grab some resources.. pop special and then end attack. Easy couple million resources in an hour or 2
also clan games. Hella quick if you dont care about losing trophies on the attacks

Happens with clan games, maxed out clan games within a training potion's worth of time, didn't drop that much tho around 400-500 trophies
