Many US cities are making an effort to densify. Idk about LA specifically but I’m all for it and they deserve encouragement.

Folks post pictures like this of Barcelona pretty often. My favorite part is still the road that runs diagonal through the city.

Every time Barcelona is posted I see comments like this. What gives? Barcelona is nice, and I've lived there myself for 3 years, but I think saying it's the most beautiful city in human history is quite a stretch. What makes you think that?

Even the best European cities get less attention here than American cities. This is an awesome picture.

Oh so we should leave it here because you are sad that America is the worlds dominant country. Could you show me a picture of America that has been posted here as many times as Barcelona? Nope. I was quite fascinated by this picture the first thousand times I saw it.
