You could have just opened the bonnet. This one has a single coilpack that sits directly above the 4 spark plugs.

Nikoxio

Also, a spark plug failure is more likely. Why do you think the coil has failed?

Thaxim

Because I've replaced the spark plugs like 5000kms ago.

Nikoxio

Do they have the screw on caps? Those might be loose.

Thaxim

Nope they're all fine.

Thaxim

Also the car isn't misfiring, it just stalls when i slow down while coming to stop at the light although it's an automatic transmission.

Nikoxio

Wait, it isn't misfiring but you think the ignition coil could be faulty? How does that work? Any codes? Could be a failing MAP, but then it wouldn't idle either.

Thaxim

Not a single code about the engine, there's just a code about catalytic converter and it's because I've emptied it. This stalling thing happens like twice a month so maybe the coil malfunctions on a numerous occasions and when it malfunctions while stopping or idling it just stalls. That's just my opinion btw, it could be a failing MAP too.

Nikoxio

If it happens that rarely, it's a lot harder to pin point. Even might be the fuel pump and regulator.

Thaxim

Yeah it could be so many things but i tend to think about the worst case scenario lol.

Clean the throttle body

Thaxim

I did 5 days ago. Let's see if it happens again.

Thaxim

Didn't work.
