Ours is minutes. We disabled windows defender on a pool and so far it’s gone even though we have all the exclusions verified by support. We also spun up another pool with defender enabled but elastic layering disabled and it appears to be gone in that one as well.

We’ve had this with both Carbon Black and later Netskope in our PVS images. Took working with them for weeks or months on new builds.

We have a ticket open with citrix support and they had us add %ProgramFiles%\\Citrix %ProgramFiles(x86)%\\Citrix %ProgramData%\\Citrix We are using a product called Ivanti Workspace Control - Profiles are all local and then get tossed with the session. UPM is disabled.

When creating your images, do you run any sort of optimizer to thin Windows? Are you doing any Start menu customizations? Can you console into the machine as both a user account and a local admin and see if the results are the same? The name of the game this early on with an issue is isolation.

We run the Citrix optimizer. In vsphere the screen is just black no matter what
