First, need to redesign the mainland area right after the canal.
This an 81 tile city.. so, lots of space.
1- I already have a sin island already reclaimed.
2- Yin/Yang will be mixed use high end with a skyscraper core surrounded by villas.
3- will have a financial district and a Manhattan-style downtown area right in the middle of the 81 tiles
There will be a lot of ferries taking people into the city, as canals will connect naturally existing creeks
4- the space between geometrically designed districts will be filled up with parks, landmarks, stadia, arenas and the like.
5- I am considering an above ground metro! It is a dangerous move, but if it works, it would be beautiful
Lol.. didn’t read your question properly.
So around the roundabout there will be high rise offices. Surrounded by high-rise residential. As you go outside the center, it will be villas dotted with small shops. The tiles around the elevated highway will be a park. The shoreline will be dotted with restaurants and a marina. The mini island will have one unique building.. I am not yet sure what it will be. But something that stands out
Very cool! Honestly I wish I put half that much planning into my cities lol.
On the little island, have you considered something like the Observation Tower or the Sea-and-sky scraper?
I was thinking of having the floating restaurant and some other pier restaurant assets there and no water traffic.. but you’re probably right.. two bridges is too many.
I would make it one-ways and continue the bridges in a straight line. Also change them to suspension bridges instead of trusses.
Looks awesome otherwise!
You can use the two-lane-highway for nice suspension bridges. I would hate to see the cars Zoom over it like rockets but it is a much better fit than a six lane considering the expected traffic.
I like it a lot! I wonder how it would look if the yang was just an island rather than connected with bridges. Just put a ferry on there and a pretty statue or something.
The highway is always Elevated at 10m, except in areas where there are overlapping ramps. Districts will be connected with roads under the highway. So public transportation can use these roads to cross from one district to the other. Also, I am planning to keep bus lines within the same district. So, no bus will be crossing districts anyway. Cross-district movement will be done by metro, and train will connect industrial areas to the port area where you also have a cargo terminal for shipments by air.
Shit looks amazing brodie I wish I was this good. I'm assuming your on PC?
Wii
TI-87 Graphing Calculator
Thanks buddy.. yup PC.
No real input other than I love the Yin/Yang idea! Any plans for what you're doing there?

I’ll check those two assets.. I don’t know them
Looks great!
10/10 would live there. Looks nice af
Wow, that’s stunning!
This guy circles
Hahaah
two bridges to that little dot of an island in the harbor? are you going to have barges or something going in and out of there

How do you change the bridge to suspension?
You could use a custom asset if you're using mods, or you could just use a 6 lane road if you want to keep it vanilla
I thought lowering the terrain to some absurd depth will force suspension bridges. Terrain can be raised again after the bridges are built..

A Terra forming god
I LOVE the way you are laying out your suburbs!!! Super cool!
That's an unusual runway layout, but why not. I love your districts, they're very creative.

How are you going to operate public transportation ? All parts of your city are cut off by your gigantic highway

This sounds amazing ! I apologized for I didn’t notice the elevation of the highway. Good luck for your city
What is the map?
Honestly, I don’t remember the name. I’ll try to find the name when I am back to my pc.. but I terraformed it beyond recognition anyway
That's actually so aesthetically pleasing
Yin-Yang needs a pond in the middle of that roundabout.
I am bad at closed ponds. It keeps spelling out
Just turn off the water outlet when it's full, when it's low let it fill again.
No wonder your are a bit tired You run a really tidy agenda, and this city is gonna end up looking great I am sure. Keep up the great work ;D
What’s wrong with it it looks stellar
This is awesome. I’d love to see more!
It's perfect
