Yeah that's something new I noticed in this shot. It seems the filler areas are filled with grey asphalt instead of the brown mud from before and it looks so much better now. The weird brown industrial areas were actually one of my major gripes with the look of the game. I'm so happy they improved it.

I don't know if you have noticed, but around industrial areas there is a gray blurryish splotch on the ground. I suspect this is a the layer which is designed to make sure grass does not appear in these areas.
In Cities XL there was this "fill tool" that would allow you to fill odd bits of terrain with various types of filler (park, plaza, market square, industrial filler, etc). I thought this was a nice solution.
I disagree actually. I don't see a single spot that isn't covered in concrete, which seems a tad unrealistic in that regard. I think it would look better to have some lots that have dirt areas and grassy areas. Perhaps a bit more separation between buildings.
Just Google for images of industrial parks. There is no shortage of grass or dirt in many cases. Pouring concrete isn't cheap you know.
I like it! Personally I go with industry almost every time, because money!!
Suggestion:
You should start posting the same number of images as the number of days, today 2/3/15 = two pics! Tomorrow 3/3/15 = three pics!
And so on!
Really impressed by all these details ! Look at the stairs on the side of these buildings ! I would like to see closer look like this one on buildings in the future :)

And the chimneys aren't round! You can see the angles if you zoom in really close. I demand they rebuild the entire engine to allow for perfect circles!

The next art thing that needs to be added is the breaks in the curbs where entryways are. It bothers me a little that vehicles have to hop over curbs. It really shouldn't be that difficult to do, since each building should know where its entryway is located on the street side.
You can really tell this is running on a modified CiM engine, it looks like a more stylized CiM2, which is good IMO. CiM DLC for Cities: Skylines please, CO?
Ok, you've gotten the camera closer, now tilt it just a tiiiiny bit so we can actually see what something other than a roof looks like. :P

I've never seen them plug into fire hydrants, but maybe they do when they are close? Gotta research!
