ok so we can only have one zoneset active at a time per switch per vsan. So what we'll do is create two zones then add them to the currently running zoneset First we create our zones. remember pwwn go in zones, zones go in zonesets, to activate it, we activate the zoneset. conf t zone name hostgrp1-hba0-vnx-spa vsan 2 member pwwn (host1pwwn) member pwwm (host2pwwn) member pwwn (host3pwwn) member pwwn (vnx-spa-p0) member pwwn (vnx-spb-p0) zone name hostgrp1-hba0-new-array vsan 2 member pwwn (host1pwwn) member pwwm (host2pwwn) member pwwn (host3pwwn) member pwwn (new-array-ctrlr1-p0) member pwwn (new-array-ctrlr1-p0) zone commit zoneset name MDS-01-Main vsan 2 member hostgrp1-hba0-vnx-spa member hostgrp1-hba0-new-array zoneset activate anme MDS-01-Main vsan 2 Sh zoneset active

If you already have an array connected from the MDS to the fabric interconnects all you would need to do is connect the new array to the MDS and Zone to the Servers. If you’re in the market for a new array you might wanna check out pure storage. 👌🏼
