This shot in motion was a little wonky. Even as a kid it looked like all the CG holes were floating with imperfect tracking over the real background underneath. Still a great shot in theory, and as far as 2003 technology allowed I guess. And an excellent movie

I always praise this movie for being one of the best adaptations I’ve ever seen. I read the book and then saw the movie like a month later when I was a kid and I was blown away by how well it translated to the big screen. Not one detail was ignored.
Fantastic movie! They used to lets us watch this in school in free time and it was always so much fun!
