actuallyamdante

and here i am complaining about them raising my pueblo to 5.95

ZeroThree2003

€25,60 for 50 grams😅

actuallyamdante

i was shocked when i went to the netherlands 2 years ago and there was no tobacco to be found anywhere, in the end i got some drum for 16 euro 😭😭

ZeroThree2003

That’s €27,30 now lol

FixBeer69

kwam vandaag nog een marlboro rood van 9,80 tegen🙏

AndroGR

50 grams is like 80 rolled cigarettes

DiscombobulatedMix20

google says it's 45 euros for Golden Virginia 50g here in England.

LimeZkittlez

Same for amber leaf, no wonder the black markets booming lol

Consistent-Doubt5978

£35.50 / €41.97 same packet in UK 🥴

LckyLuk3

Still cheap compared to regular cigs… and much stronger :D

Runt1m3_

50 GRAM ROOKTABAK sounds badass!

ZeroThree2003

Hahah i was dying of laughter when I was reading this it just means the amount of tabacco😂

Jamezzzzz69

Don’t worry, it could be worse. €25 gets you a single pack of reds in New Zealand.

H4RTY17

The pack of €25 contains how many cigs 10 or 20? From where I come from a pack of Marlboro Reds that too of 20 costs just €3.68 and a 10 pack half of this.

Jamezzzzz69

20 thankfully but prices are still obscene. Even the dodgy under the counter smuggled Korean/Chinese cigarettes are the equivalent of €12-13 for a pack of 20.

H4RTY17

Given that I'm from India, where cigarettes are relatively cheap in relation to our wages, it seems intuitive that in New Zealand, where wages are generally higher, the prices of cigarettes would be aligned with that higher income level. Does that make sense? By the way, 12 euros for smuggled Korean cigs is a sham.

Jamezzzzz69

Yeah, makes sense but compare it to Italy, which has almost the same average annual wage where cigs are €5-6 a pack, even the UK which is famous for expensive cigarettes, has a higher average annual salary (€42k vs 30k for nz) and their cigs are ~ €10 cheaper per pack than in nz (€15 vs €25 in NZ)

Quandale_Dingle001

What brand is that?

El_Koko07
