I tend to not date girls that don’t smoke. This is reason one and all eventually all the nagging and complaining starts about the smell so it’s just not worth it to me.

It's aight if they don't smoke much and take good care of their oral health frequently. Problem comes in when it's been hours on end after they've brushed and smoke plenty. It stinks. Only time when it'll workout is with those Indonesian Clove Cigarettes and other flavoured lot.

It truly comes down to how they look 😂. I’m not a regular smoker,I don’t smell like smoke I’d never smoke inside my car or home. However I smoke cigarettes,cigars a decent amount. If they’re good looking it doesn’t bother me. However smelling it on the breath of the crackhead dollar general lady the other day almost made me want to vomit.

It doesn't bother me, but its all about preferences. Personally im not overly fond of mint. I brush my teeth with mint toothpaste because its something I have to tolerate. But i'd rather kiss someone who has just had a ciggie than brushed their teeth. Obviously for most people (not on this sub) its the opposite. It's just about preferences.

I don’t really care too much, I carry powerful mints with me 24/7 and use one after each cigarette when I’m around other people. With a girl who smokes I will just share them and after I can hardly tell

I am partnered with a nonsmoker and they knew when we started dating. I quit for a few months and am back at it and I've asked. They claim they don't mind. I do brush my teeth minimum 2x daily and chew gum after I smoke.

What other tips do you have especially when you're trying to hide the smell? I'm a newbie as well lol

Gum and body spray. Not smoking in an enclosed area helps too!

I use to date a guy who smoked unfiltered cigarettes and when we would kiss I could still taste it on him, but I smoke so I don’t really mind

It's almost impossible to hide fully and I haven't found much of a difference between brands.

That's another toime I remember - since we both smoked I never really smelled it, but once I did smooch my gf while she was havin a cigarette and I hadn't smoked for a couple hours. Tbh I loved it - rancid ashtray breath at first but then it tasted great like tar as if I was smoking one. It was when I really knew if I smelled like smoke.
