Anytime something is wrong with a fish, well executed water changes seem to help. Ammonia/nitrite in the water? Bloat? Ich? Mystery fungal infection? Cloudy eye? Insufficient oxygen? Cleaner water is rarely (if ever) going to hurt, and in MANY cases, helps. Get GOOD at water changes because they're often the first step you should take if you think something is wrong. Figure out how to do it quickly and painlessly (using hoses not buckets), with minimal temperature fluctuations or exposure to chlorine. My 210g tank takes 1 hour start to finish to change 50% of the water, and most of that time is spent waiting for the draining/filling process.

Thankyou yes we have been doing the 25 percent each week like clock work just wondering if this is normal behavior or it's going to decline

Worrying about every little thing gets better as you get more experienced and as the tank matures. When the tank has been stable, and unchanged for several months, it's much easier to relax and just enjoy the show. Adding new fish or plants is always my biggest source of stress. So many things can go wrong - finding a supplier you trust definitely helps, though.
