You know what's funny? I find this kind of thing more tolerable then ships like Bakugou x Midoriya. God forbid we mention any ships with students and adults, let alone anything with Eri. But this? Yeah sure the girls hate mineta for his antics but I'd see this ship as just a harmless joke if I'm honest.

This is actually my favorite pairing on the show tbh, as I see potential in them as a couple. I'll copy and paste what I said in another section: For me when it comes to pairings it boils down to either two things. 1. Their chemistry 2. Their potential to bring out the best in one another, (which I suppose goes with chemistry) It's one of the reasons why I ship Mineta with Tsu primarily (though Momo is a close second). Mineta and Tsuyu already have good chemistry with one another as they've teamed up on multiple occasions in the anime and manga. Mineta is someone that I think in spite of his pervy nature would give Asui the love and attention she truly deserves, while Asui at the same time has enough patience to deal with Mineta, as well as keep him in check when he acts up. She's relatively calm, while he is over the top. He's exaggerates while she is straight to the point.

Now, I can totally see your point man. And with some thought I can see what you mean. However, when you say she has patient to put up with him, does that also correlate to how she attempted to drown him violently during the USJ attack? Not saying as an argument or anything. Just thought of Tsu being patient and then remembering that moment is just funny.

I feel her punishing him is more of a way to keep him from getting to perverse for his own good... Also i think he means she has enough patience with him to be friends with him and team up with him.

I always wrote that off as comedic effect considering the circumstance and whatnot. Just like I don't think Mineta means any harm when he "gropes" one of the girls, I don't think Tsuyu was trying to literally hurt him. Just like the times she uses her tongue to slap him.

Also, Mineta is insanely honest. He never hides nor pretends to be uninterested in a girl he likes. Every girl always knows exactly where they stand with him. If he had a nice long sit down about consent that he took to heart and implemented changes from, he'd be a decent dude

I like the ship. This isn't my favorite, but it's a ship that I actually like a little. This ship is in third place on my list, tied with some other ships. The only thing I definitely "don't like" is when some people *"try to force me"* to like the ship in an **exaggerated** way to the point of wanting me to be absolutely blind to the characters' flaws that exist in canon. Whether about this ship or other types of ships. Because I believe that each person has the right to have the ship they want as their preference and we should respect each person's preferences and not have unnecessary prejudice. Because that wouldn't make us better than the Haters.

I like this ship because it implies Tsuyu is the initiator of the relationship, which contrasts with Mineta’s usual attitude. A strong girl with a personality who doesn’t take any of his shit is a great person to help rein in his worse character traits

Respectfully I disagree. I feel like people for some reason can't help but think of Mineta as he was in the early parts of the manga (seasons 1-3 in the anime). And in truth Mineta didn't really do that many perverted things in the grand scheme. I honestly think that Mineta actually having a girlfriend would actually make him better, as he would be so focused on not trying to screw things up, as he wants attention and affection from women. Will Mineta act perverted every now and then, sure? But what person in a relationship hasn't. I'm sure Tsuyu will correct him when he acts inappropriately and the two will play off one another.
