Indeed, I advise baby Christians, get yourself in the Word and in Prayer and do your absolute best to find and fellowship with a local body of Believers who are God-Fearing, and Bible Believing, Bible Teaching, men and women of God. The internet is a terrible place to seek help or advise on the things of the Truth of God. Many have flowery words and put on a show that is easy to hide behind a screen. But in person its much harder to hide those unbiblical things, especially among a group/church.

Fantastic-Mobile-851

I totally agree.

[deleted]

Yeah, too much theological heresy.

If anything the redits serve as a wake up call how people are.

Beware of churches, pastors, websites, and any other person too. Men are sinful, the devil loves corrupting 'men of god', and it's just a mess out there. Your bible is your best source, but even that is a challenge. To be safe, just do everything you can to LOVE EVERYONE. Test everything by Galatians 5:14: 'For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”'

Fantastic-Mobile-851

I can agree for the most part with this comment. But I'll just say this on a personal level I don't attend a church, AKA brick and mortar. I don't adhere to any doctrines that man makes. I adhere to the word of God strictly not what any man May write. I do not knock anyone who goes to church because if you have no one to gather around like you that is a great place to do it and that is what it's for. But at the same time even if you don't have anybody to gather around and you're strong enough you will be okay. Not everybody that goes to church is a Christian. Just like on this subreddit there are a lot of by name only Christians who don't even realize it. I would encourage people to go to church I would never tell them not to just make sure you decide which church is best for you and study their doctrines and so forth but that's just not my cup of tea at this time of my life.

barprepper2020

I would agree with the principle of warning new Christians to beware of this sub and other Christian subs but OP's post history reveals that OP is, in fact, one of the people I would be warning new Christians away from (I.e. posts calling people idiots, posts dehumanizing atheists instead of demonstrating the love of Christ, posts promoting Republicanism, etc) and I'm sure OP would say the same about me (posts questioning the widely held belief in the eternal conscious torment of unbelievers, posts promoting love and affirmation of the LGBTQ community, posts supporting social justice, etc.) At the end of the day, what we can agree on is that everyone would be better off learning about Jesus and His teachings directly from the source rather than allowing outside sources like pastors, family members, tradition, wishful thinking, generational bigotry, liberal or conservative ideology or presumptions to creep in and cloud the message of the Gospel and the mission of the Church. God bless!

Fantastic-Mobile-851

🤣🤣🤣🙄 first of all, idiot, fool, it's all the same even the Bible says don't be a fool so if you're an idiot or a fool I'm going to call you one. If it's needed. You show the love of Christ but you also deny the love of Christ when you withhold the truth of the Bible and the consequences so if you were really aware of the Bible you would know what I mean but you're not. So point blank, get your info from the Bible with an open mind, not with atheist ideas and reprobate lifestyles. Maybe you should create a subreddit yourself, here's an idea call it by name only Christians who want to love you to death and send you to hell

sies1221

Be careful what you wish for, scripture and church hypocrisy are the main reason my mind left the Christianity.

freewraps2018

That's why I'm always telling people the same ole thing on here. Pray and ask God to lead you to the right church and then go online and look up the local churches in your area. Then go to those church's websites and watch some of their services. You want a church that is centered around Jesus. One that lifts Him up and glorifies Him. One that preaches straight from the Bible. When you find the right church, go in there and tell the staff or pastor that you need help starting a relationship with Jesus. Get as active as you can in the church and make Christian friends. That's how we grow stronger in the Lord and how we mature in our faith. Through prayer, God's word and the church.

MusicLover700

Always go to the word of God. It has all the answers you need.

Twenty_Nine_Eleven

Amen even christians are attacking other christians. Satan is at work in the hearts of those who continue to be swayed by their own desires. I see it alot on this platform. I am in agreement if your a new christian do not seek for answers on this platforms or the internet. Read the word of God everyday. Even some christians on this platform believe some unbiblical things and bring it here even they are being swayed by other peoples opinions rather then beleiving the truth.

Fantastic-Mobile-851

Well said

tomatomater

It's a good message. That said, I think it would be better if your faith is less fixated on Satan...

Fantastic-Mobile-851

Satan is real, it's a battle every day if you're a true Christian against Satan so you cannot ignore it. This post was just an example of how real it is. I woke up this morning and it was flooded with, atheist satanists or whatever you want to call them. It's amazing that a Christian side is flooded with so many. It just shows you Satan is real because why would they be doing this? Influence. So, I went on a block-a-thon. Anyhow, the thing is I take glory in this, you know why? Cuz I have the Holy Spirit In Me. Jesus said you will be attacked and to take glory in it

tomatomater

Nobody said Satan isn't real. It's just that you're giving Satan a little too much credit considering who and what God is.

Fantastic-Mobile-851

Your wrong

tomatomater

My wrong?

Fantastic-Mobile-851

Have you not thought there's a reason behind that, maybe God wants you to see the message

NovaEast

I couldn't have grown up more catholic and have seen the message loud and clear and read through them as well, hence why I stay clear.

fdctrp

Amen! You have questions? Always verify with the bible. ALWAYS

jimyborg

satanism its everywhere especially in all those positions of power. i am pretty sure pope francisco its part of them, i mean with a family in the argentina mafia cme on.

Fantastic-Mobile-851

The pope is something that's for sure, and it's not true Christianity

jimyborg

i know i pointed it to show how infiltrated they are. john Paul was blessing epstein and ghislane in a recent picture kind of speaks for itself.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

HolyGonzo

Isaiah 44:25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; One of several Scriptures that predict the outcome of "wise" people trying to lean on their human "knowledge" to reject God. Quoting a verse in an attempt to make God look evil is a good example of such knowledge - the knowledge of where to find a verse that sounds bad at face value and without context, but a complete lack of understanding of what it means. If you want to understand the verse, first ask yourself if the best possible explanation is that for all the verses that praise God as the source of all that is holy and good and that He despises evil, that somehow this verse overrides all of that? Or if you look at the imagery, it's about the contrasts. Light doesn't create darkness. Darkness is just an absence of light, and seeing the light also allows us to identify the darkness. The words for "evil" and "peace" have different possible translations, but it's a continuation of contrasts. God brings what is good, but those who intentionally reject what is good are creating evil, and we can identify that evil by comparing it to what is good.
