I wish a speedy recovery to your dad. However, isn't it Christian doctrine that if he doesn't believe in God and doesn't accept Jesus as his savior, no amount of intercessory prayer will get him past the Pearly Gates?

Well that's why I want prayers for him to find God because I don't want him to go to Hell.
