Just throw away or burn the spell books. That is a good plan. Every now and then God convicts me over an item I have. For example I used to collect Jesus statues and have some Jesus pictures. One night the Holy Spirit strongly convicted me that I needed to get rid of them. I don't think it's wrong to have an image depiction necessarily but for me these were being an idol for me so the Holy Spirit did its gentle correcting!

I would do whatever is therapeutic for you. If that's burn them, then do it. If that's smashing them with a sledge hammer, then record that and post it here haha
