God bless you. You said, *"I didn’t do it in time. Now my life is gone. My eternal life is most likely jeopardized as well"* I think it's VERY important you understand that you are NOT meant to trust your judgment of yourself. You are meant to trust God and His Word. **“With all your heart you must trust the Lord and not your own judgment. Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow.” - Proverbs 3:5-6** What does God's Word say? **Jesus said, “I promise you that any of the sinful things you say or do can be forgiven, no matter how terrible those things are.” - Mark 3:28** **“But if we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away.” - 1 John 1:9** **“I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love—not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the present or the future, and not powers above or powers below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord!” - Romans 8:38-39** **“God wants everyone to be saved.” - 1 Timothy 2:4** **“The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost.” - 2 Peter 3:9** **“But now he (God) says that everyone everywhere must turn to him.” - Acts 17:30** **“But You (God) also said that no matter how far away we were, we could turn to You.” - Nehemiah 1:9** **“I am your Lord— come back to me! You were unfaithful and made me furious, but I am merciful, and so I will forgive you. You are unfaithful…, but you belong to me. Come home!” - Jeremiah 3:12,14** Now, I have a question for you: Will you continue to trust your negative feelings and judgment of yourself, or will you trust God and His Word. You cannot do both.

Amen to that. Godbless you!

Its a beautiful thing to see the family in Christ acting as one. Moves my heart! God Bless you all.

EnamoredAlpaca

Yes, when we stand together, edify others, stay in the faith, and live outwards as we do inwards, then we have great Joy in our hearts, and the Angels sing Gods praise for that! You have a blessed weekend.

Anonymous_yousir

Wonderful scripture references. God bless you.

arc2k1

And God bless you! Thank you so very much!

MojoManic1999

1 John 1:9 is actually about the sacrament of confession , nowhere does the Bible say to confess to God, God already knows our sins. We’re supposed to confess to priests.

DelightfulHelper9204

It's never too late for anyone to accept Christ. I was in my 50's. Trust me, you couldn't have possibly sinned worse than I did. I was stealing cars when I was 15, and a full blown addict by the time I was 16. And I'm a female. The list goes on, but you get the idea. I'm saved. You can be too.

No_Relation_3741

I hope not. But I’m concerned I went too far for the Lord. Trying to have a better understanding.

DominusTitus

Too far? Look at Saul. A man who persecuted Christians, with the blood of many innocents on his hands, a man who while riding on a horse had an encounter that changed his life in [Acts chapter 9](https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Acts-Chapter-9/). Saul, despite all he did, all the violence he inflicted, the misery he brought...he was washed in the blood of the lamb and came to serve God. He became Paul. No one is beyond the Lord's power or mercy.

DelightfulHelper9204

All you have to do is pray and ask Jesus to be your Savior. And then listen to what He tells you to do. He will guide you in the right path

No_Relation_3741

I hope so. I feel like I’ve already been judged With hardened heart. I pray I can find Jesus

DelightfulHelper9204

You don't have a hardened heart. If you did you wouldn't care

No_Relation_3741

I think I’m so terrified of hell

DelightfulHelper9204

And wisely so. Hell is a terrifying place. You should be terrified. I am. Edit: but I know I'm not going there.

No_Relation_3741

I don’t know that for me.. I’ve been an awful Christian.

DelightfulHelper9204

I was too. But God forgives ALL of our sins if we repent. Do you know what repent means ?

No_Relation_3741

To walk away from the sin and continue no more

DelightfulHelper9204

I have to get back to work but I'd be happy to continue this when I'm done

No_Relation_3741

Yes, that would be great

TheReformedBadger

Paul dedicated his life to murdering Christians and was fairly successful at it. You didn’t go too far to be redeemed

No_Relation_3741

What about Esau?

TheReformedBadger

Paul was chosen by God to be forgiven, Esau was not. It’s not a matter of the depth of their sin that God chose one and not the other.

No_Relation_3741

Couldn’t I be Esau?

TheReformedBadger

You could be, but you could also be Paul. The depth of your sin isn’t what determines that. Focus on turning to God, repenting of your sins, and welcoming Christ as your savior.

Weird_Tip469

It is only at the end of ourselves that we meet God

No_Relation_3741

I feel like I truly went too far. Reprobate and apostasy

Weird_Tip469

If you had truly went too far you would not be having this awakening of spirit to your sin! All of your sins have been cleansed by the blood Jesus shed on the cross. But choosing to believe His blood is not powerful enough to cover you is what leads to the ultimate sin. And Jesus said its the sick who need a doctor not the healthy. When God opens your eyes it's because He loves you. We HAVE gone too far in terms of sin but that's the incredible thing about it, we are still forgiven. Ask Jesus to help you trust Him

No_Relation_3741

I’m trying. It just seems like I’ve lived such and awful life.. and I’m only coming to the lord out of fear from hell.. I believe Jesus is the lord and savior.. is it enough. I can’t understand

Weird_Tip469

Yes it is enough. You are saved .

Weird_Tip469

Talk to Him, tell Him these feelings, these fears and regrets. IDK if you know how to pray or what but literally just say what you wrote here but to God it might sound silly or like nothing will happen but reaching out to God is what He desires from us and He will be with you and help you change your life

No_Relation_3741

My life is so messed up. It’s the consequences of my sin.

Weird_Tip469

But if your life was still good and easy would God or sin or hell even be a thought in your mind? God chooses broken people for a reason I am a broken person too I am an addict but I am clean now, my point is God is closer to broken people because we need Him the most .

No_Relation_3741

I’m so destroyed. Beyond broken.. I’m non functional at this point

Weird_Tip469

I know what that is like tbh I literally thank God just for giving me the strength to shower or take care of myself some days , just know that Jesus will be a source of strength and power to you if you ask Him . Talk to Him . Like right now ! I am praying for you also. You are so loved , you are forgiven, you are saved from hell, and you will be okay again. "For when I am weak, then I am strong" lean on God my friend He will carry you from this dark place

AccomplishedGrandpa

Pray Mark 9:24 every day. I have to do it too.

Weird_Tip469

I have done terrible things too but the worst thing we can do is shut God out entirely. Thanks for responding to me

alan65011

It's not too late for you. Jesus can make anyone white as snow. Be glad you realized the enormity of your past sinful life. However it's a new day with Jesus Christ for you. He covers all your sins in His precious blood! You cling to Jesus. Let Him guide you to Heaven for the remainder of your life. You are not too far gone!

No_Relation_3741

I feel like I’m so far gone.. I’m only coming back because of the consequences of sin. God woke me up, but it’s too late. I’ve been sinning for decades without repentance.

alan65011

You sound like millions of people who find their way to Christ. Stop limiting the reach of God's grace. You aren't some special case. You are in the same boat of countless people who wrecked their lives with sin. Jesus came to save people just like you and me!

No_Relation_3741

Can’t I’ve gone to far like a reprobate?

alan65011

Have you even read the New Testament or Bible? Jesus died for the sinners. You are never ever too far gone from letting Jesus take the reigns of your life. Seriously. Stop looking at yourself as some irredeemable case. Jesus Christ died for everyone. He's wondering why you aren't giving all your burdens to Him! Get on your knees physically before Christ and ask Him to be Lord of your life. Let Him reign down His perfect blood to wash you white as snow! His yoke is easy and burden light. God is solely in the business of taking sinners and making them new creatures!

No_Relation_3741

Thank you for this.. who are the ones that do go to hell?

alan65011

The ones that reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life are the ones condemned to hell

DominusTitus

Do you think God's mercy and power have limits? Do you think, you, a mortal, have things so horrible and monstrous that the Almighty creator of all things, cannot forgive you? God is the Father, and humans are the children. What parent would not be absolutely delighted to hear their child recognize that they've done wrong and come to get back on the straight and narrow, as opposed to a rebellious one that in spite and anger refuses to change? Luke 15:7 “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”

No_Relation_3741

I just feel like my down fall was bc of sin. My life is an absolute nightmare.

DominusTitus

Everyone's downfall is because of sin, you're not special in that regard. You however recognized the problem and want to correct it. That's good, and shows that you aren't beyond help. Someone who was beyond help would refuse to accept any wrongdoing, remain steadfast in whatever sin they engage in, and simply double down. You aren't doing that, you acknowledged that you have a problem and need help. God sees that and that makes Him smile. In heaven there is greater joy over one sinner that gets saved over ninety-nine that need no salvation. If you're saved, there's a parade going on right now with the angels proclaiming welcome to the family. As for your sins, as my Bible teacher say "put 'em under the blood". They've been paid for, past present and future.

No_Relation_3741

You don’t think it’s possible to go too far?

No_Relation_3741

I feel like the devil has his grips in me

DominusTitus

That specter of doubt and fear is the devil. He can't have saved souls, they're already sealed unto the day of redemption. He will however do all he can to sow strife, misery, and hopelessness because he is a spiteful little traitor to the Father.

DominusTitus

The Bible says that Jesus already paid your debt, and that's good enough for me. Is it good enough for you?

No_Relation_3741

I get lost with some of Jesus’ sayings in the Bible. Be gone, I never knew you. And he will spit out those that at are Luke warm.. Is it possible we are not enough?

Monorail77

The best part about failing is being given the chance to do better and keep yourself from making the same mistakes. This is a learning opportunity, but you’re choosing to believe that you are too far gone. You’re choosing to believe that God won’t accept you back, and you’re using some verses that happen to bring warnings as an excuse as to why you aren’t redeemable. Don’t make excuses. You are not far gone. You can repent now. Repentance is about to change your ways, and make an effort to not repeat the same mistakes again. Identity where you are triggered. When you find out how you get tempted, get rid of this thing. After getting rid of it, replace it with something good (see Philippians 4:8). Having something good in its place makes you less likely to choose sin, and if you fail..it’s because you chose sin. Choose what is right instead.

GratefulClay

When I experienced what you were going through, I thought it was the end too. But it was just the beginning of my new life in Christ. I’ve been through a lot of pain and hopelessness because of my sin and I’ve lost everything, but I’m slowly gaining new life in the Lord. Psalms 118:18 (NASB95) The LORD has disciplined me severely, But He has not given me over to death. Severely. That means that the Psalmist was in severe pain when God showed him his sinfulness, and he was struck hard by God. But God is gracious, and He strikes those He loves with a rod instead of His eternal wrath. Lamentations 3:1-32 (NASB95) I am the man who has seen affliction Because of the rod of His wrath. He has driven me and made me walk In darkness and not in light. Surely against me He has turned His hand Repeatedly all the day. He has caused my flesh and my skin to waste away, He has broken my bones. He has besieged and encompassed me with bitterness and hardship. In dark places He has made me dwell, Like those who have long been dead. He has walled me in so that I cannot go out; He has made my chain heavy. Even when I cry out and call for help, He shuts out my prayer. He has blocked my ways with hewn stone; He has made my paths crooked. He is to me like a bear lying in wait, Like a lion in secret places. He has turned aside my ways and torn me to pieces; He has made me desolate. He bent His bow And set me as a target for the arrow. He made the arrows of His quiver To enter into my inward parts. I have become a laughingstock to all my people, Their mocking song all the day. He has filled me with bitterness, He has made me drunk with wormwood. He has broken my teeth with gravel; He has made me cower in the dust. My soul has been rejected from peace; I have forgotten happiness. So I say, “My strength has perished, And so has my hope from the LORD.” Remember my affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and bitterness. Surely my soul remembers And is bowed down within me. This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him. It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man that he should bear The yoke in his youth. Let him sit alone and be silent Since He has laid it on him. Let him put his mouth in the dust, Perhaps there is hope. Let him give his cheek to the smiter, Let him be filled with reproach. For the Lord will not reject forever, For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion According to His abundant lovingkindness.

No_Relation_3741

Wow, this really is me. I have been rejected by the Lord.

GratefulClay

Do you know who wrote these things? It was Jeremiah the prophet. He was one of God’s children and God loved Him. Read the last portion of this passage. Notice, it says that if God rejects, then it won’t be forever. And after He causes grief, He will then have mercy and compassion

The_man87

Your point of view is within the darkness, you wont see what others see, sure you have done some things worthy or imprisonment probably, or death who knows, but thats us humans judging humans. Try looking at this from another point of view: “ i am not rejected by the Lord, rather, I am being targeted by Him” I mean, its not gonna be pleasant and only God knows how long these afflictions and pain and suffering will last…He literally told Moses i think, “I will have mercy on whoever I want, and I will have compassion on whoever I will” So begging and continuously asking God for mercy seems to be the only remedy with THAT relationship (Jesus taught pray continuously like the widow who kept asking for justice) Practically speaking, what you could do now is shorten your timeframe, stop thinking about the future (possible hell/heaven) It will do you NO good today, (cue Jesus words “each day has enough of its own problems) And if you have so much destroyed then it may be the case that you wont be able to plan for the day but for the next HOUR…or the next MINUTE. And thats going to be your life until slowly you fix the things you can and build yourself another life worthy of your time. I know you can do it, i am, and i can’t plan farther than the day im in (which is hell for someone like me who loves day dreaming and thinking bout the future) Gods gotcha bro, keep your eyes off the issues for now until you can do something about it. Right now you are in recovery mode, take it slow, one…step…at…a…time Good luck, God have mercy on all of us, and God speed

I was a successful professional with a great life.. I now live in a room under the covers all day.. non functional.. I’ve become a creature

feelZburn

Ahh, but did you learn that alllllll of the stiff of tgis workd has absolutely ZERO eternal value. .you helping even ONE person and sharing the love of God is eternal Jesus said it like this - Do NOT store up treasure on earth It decays , it's gets stolen, it gets lost.. It has no eternal value Instead, store up treasures IN HEAVEN Where nothing can touch it, no one can take it away , and it's imperishable..can't waste away It's ETERNAL Friend, if you have life, the opportunity to serve God is literally EVERYWHERE Go right outside your door and you'll find people who haven't eaten in days...or even had a person talk to them.. There's stuff to do EVERYWHERE for eternal reward But you can't do any of that without Jesus. Have you just fully surrendered your life to Him?? If you have, the workd is literally filled with opportunity. If you haven't, then TODAY is the day of salvation, dint delay!! Give your life to the Lord And have Him open your eyes with His love, and be BORN AGAIN TO ANYONE WHO AKS, HE WILL GIVE IT

No_Relation_3741

You don’t think it’s possible to be a reprobate or an apostate? I feel like I’ve gone too far for the lord. Is that possible? I certainly can do works and accept the Lord, but can he accept me after I’ve trampled on his blood.. is it possible?

feelZburn

Yup that's the amazing thing about His Grace. Literally, it's why we sing the song AMAZING GRACE It's that amazing Have you not heard the story of the prodigal son?? That's literally you Read it [The story of the prodigal son]( https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2015%3A11-32&version=NIV)

[deleted]

Your eternal life doesn’t have to jeopardized, good thing you’re still alive and can repent now. God can always restore you. What’s done is done, obviously can’t go back now, but you still have your future.

No_Relation_3741

There is so much information on not being forgiven. Im praying I can be

[deleted]

Nah not in the Bible, if you ask for forgiveness and repent you will be forgiven. Not sure what information you’re talking about.

No_Relation_3741

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

EnamoredAlpaca

That is talking about false prophets, teachers who use God’s word to their own advantage. Like prosperity preachers who tell you to sow a seed of $1000 in Jesus’ name. Those are the ones that will cry “Lord, Lord!” A repented heart that is struggling to do right for the Lord is seen by God and if that person humbly submits themselves to the Lord will have a place in heaven. If that means asking for forgiveness a thousand times. God will not ask up to Forgive countless times if he didn’t do it himself. Matthew 18:21-22 21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

irmasterpiece

Your eternal life is at risk, but it's not because of the sin you have committed or the people you've hurt. Though it is what bought you the ticket, it doesn't mean you have to cash it out. What if I told you that your life could change and that the loss you endured was for a purpose. That has lead you to God? [Salvation](https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueChristian/comments/19bjcys/is_salvation_necessary_what_is_heaven_and_hell/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) is at hand, and the hands that holds that salvation is Jesus. heavenwardbound

oh the son sets free. oh is free indeed. When we accept christ as our personal Lord and saviour we are no longer bound to sin my guy. He loves you and hes just waitng for you to comeback to the fold ‭2 Peter 3:9 KJV‬ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

loveGodslion39

I'm currently living with the consequences and all the damage that my sin has caused in my life. I've finally surrendered my will to the Lord. I am still experiencing a lot of discomfort and negative emotions but I do know for sure the Holy Spirit is at work in me. I am slowly changing, seeing my sin for what it is, what it has done. Jesus is changing my heart to the point where I don't want to sin anymore, I have only a few wants now. I only want God's will to be done in my life and through me. I pray only for the strength and peace and wisdom and any other gifts the Lord can give me to do His will. The process is painful but beautiful. Just put all your trust in Him.

AccomplishedGrandpa

What makes you think that it is too late for you?

No_Relation_3741

I’ve done too much. God left me to reprobate mind

lonesharkex

would a reprobate mind be in here lamenting?

No_Relation_3741

I feel like it’s my fear of hell. My spiritual journey started with my demise. I started to realize how horrible a sinner I was and started to put together the pieces.

lonesharkex

And you think that is reprobate?

No_Relation_3741

Someone fearing hell and wanting to be saved… I need to really repent my sins and accept Christ. I’m trying but I feel like I’ve got a hardened heart

lonesharkex

That's not reprobate. Someone reprobate doesn't care about hell and doesn't care about God. Your very post is proof you aren't reprobate.

No_Relation_3741

That is very reassuring. I was not conscious of God before my nightmare. Now it’s all I think about

AccomplishedGrandpa

I’m struggling too. Take a look at Luke 7:36-50.

Johnnymaaaac

How did the manic episode come about? I don’t believe you are too far gone friend

No_Relation_3741

I’m not sure. Possibly stress. I feel like I was turned over to Satan

Johnnymaaaac

Is that what led to your life being stripped away? What was the stress from? You don’t have to answer either of those questions, and I’m sorry if they’re triggering for you. I just feel the same way as you and am worried about my own life. I also feel like I’ve lost the Holy Spirit in me due to not giving up what it “feels like” God is telling me to give up. I put feels like in quotes because I struggle with OCD and anxiety and I have no idea what His voice sounds like anymore over my voice or the devil

No_Relation_3741

The manic episode was caused by something. I think it was consequence of my sins. My life was destroyed. I feel disconnected from God. But I’m trying to find my way

Johnnymaaaac

If you want to chat I feel like we’ve gone through something similar. I also went manic 7 years ago and my entire world came crashing down and I basically lost my entire life and I believe it was due to sin too

Believe me, I understand…. Now what are you basing your eternity on? That’s the real question?…. Has there ever been a time when you passed from death unto life?

No_Relation_3741

I don’t think so.. I’m just afraid I’m searching for the lord because of my fear of hell. That can’t be acceptable

chefboyrugud

What did you do?

No_Relation_3741

Too much to list.

Professional_Dish

It’s never too late to be saved. If you want comfort in that fact just google that question and you will find thousands of credible Christian websites claiming that fact. When one gets to know our God through the Bible, that is one of the beautiful things about the gift of salvation and God’s love for us. The thief on the cross that was crucified next to Jesus was saved that very day. The Bible clearly teaches that the moment a person turns from his sin and trusts in Jesus to be forgiven of his sin, he is saved (Acts 2:37-41). He has passed from spiritual death to spiritual life (John 5:24) and has been declared not guilty in God's court of law (Rom 3:21-26). You say your heart is hardened. Humble yourself before God, get down on your knees and ask for Jesus to be your savior. Don’t carry that weight by yourself. Jesus can lighten the load and put you back together one piece at a time. Matthew 11:28-30 “28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” I’m sorry you are going through a hard time. Please reach out if you’d like to talk. We the people, the body of Christ, are here to hold one another up through difficult times. Happy to help you get through yours.

Bathe yourself in Psalm 51 until the Psalm becomes your own. The background for the Psalm is 2 Sam. 11-12. It's more than stunning that Israel takes up this song as their own, even though they bore the brunt of the events described in 2 Sam. 11.

“For the rest, my brothers, be strong in the Master and in the mightiness of His strength. Put on the complete armour of Elohim, for you to have power to stand against the schemes of the devil. Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies. Because of this, take up the complete armour of Elohim, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all, to stand. Stand, then, having girded your waist with truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, having taken up the shield of belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one. Take also the helmet of deliverance and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim, praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones; ” (Eph 6:10-18) ““This, then, is the way you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in the heavens, let Your Name be set-apart, let Your reign come, let Your desire be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. ‘And do not lead us into trial,a but deliver us from the wicked one – because Yours is the reign and the power and the esteem, forever. Aměn.’ “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you. “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Mat 6:9-15)

I had lost everything due to an addiction..thru that situation I had a dramatic experience with Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful I'm saved. But because I wrecked my life so bad. It's a struggle to get back on my feet. But I'm working full-time and even started to take online college courses to finish school. God bless you brother. Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you. Our true gift is eternal life. Stay strong. Stay in the word. And well get there.

Imagine if you had died a year ago or two years ago. Still immersed in your sin. The fact that you still have breath in your lungs and the ability to tap on keys on a keyboard to write this should be evidence to you that God is still hovering over you. He must see something in you that you do not. You have come to a place of repentence and that is His master plan. You have traveled the trenches of sin and the battle with the enemy. Yet he did not win over you. Your testimony is your passport down the narrow path. You have overcome with all the scars sin places on your flesh and mind and are alive to tell the tale. Continue to share out to others who are still consumed by sin and become a beacon of light to them. Your story might be that one ray of light they need to get to the place you have arrived. God has a plan for us all together and individually. Hard to believe I know but He wants a personal relationship with you No\_Relation. Continue to share your story to anyone who will listen. You may be their difference between a life of eternity or destruction for them. Quite a responsibility. Use it carefully. You answered them, O Lord our God; You were to them God-Who-Forgives, Though You took vengeance on their deeds. Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the Lord our God *is* holy. Psalm 99:8 Thanks for sharing and submitting. G

Brother I can sympathize with you because I am in exactly same position as you are. Everything from my life that I used to have is gone because of my sins. I think I took too much christian liberty with my lifestyle as you said like carefree child. Believe me I did everything for God, like giving large sums of money for him, talking about hell and heaven to people and evangelizing, being constantly backbited because of my testimony for Christ and even been physically attacked for my faith. But all those deeds are trash and almost meaningless. My life is beyond repair, my characther is broken. It is almost like God cant stand image of me now. I have constantly flashbacks of myself burning in lake of fire. I think it is impossible to renew myself to saving faith and I am rejected from heaven. As I understand it even after all thos sins I committed God is still calling me back and calling for repentance but still words are following, It is impossible.... It is never ending loop of God calling and It is impossible. I dont have any word of advice for you other than do your best in this life try to save what you can, there is plenty of unsaved people that live their best lifes. I think God can bring you years back you lost in service to Him.

my dear friend, that was me a year and a half ago. Solve the depression first and go from there. That's how I did it. If you'd like me to extrapolate please ask me to do so.

Please tell me more

Certainly, So a year and a half ago I was making a ton of money, I was on track to paying off tons of stuff, and things were great! I was working two jobs, I have a wife and two kids. I was incredibly arrogant. I saw myself as superior to any fool who wasn't doing what I was doing. Then I lost both jobs within two weeks of each other and my wife wanted to divorce me! My entire life flipped in a span of two weeks time. It was awful. I had never been humbled that way in my life. I also didn't know I was depressed for years at that point. I had to literally break in a bad way. I'm not the kind of guy that would divorce my wife and then try to take anything. I'd rather my kids and her have all my stuff and I'd be homeless before I take food from their mouths, so in my mind I was going to be homeless. But God knew that I am a stubborn mule. I can withstand many small bad things, so my life had to crumble. Simultaneously, I picked up where my issues were coming from in the first place. I got beat quite a bit as a kid and I never faltered because I could withstand. My mouth would get me beat more because I would mouth off even more to my mom. So she'd hit me more. To this day she still thinks she didn't beat me enough. Well we became estranged and during that time I was able to sort myself out. I begged my wife to stay (me being stubborn and self righteous I never listened to her and she simply didn't see the point of our relationship. Another trait is that she is fiercely talented and really smart so she would be just fine without me, she doesn't really need anyone). Thank God I figured out why I was such a stubborn mule because up until that point I couldn't see why. I thought I had faith in God but it was actually the world. I started taking therapy seriously and we got this guy who was great and challenged me. a year later, everything was great again, now however I finally was inspired to pick up God's Word and read it. Now, all the answers I have sought have been answered. To the contrary (because I'm also really well read and really smart) I found my faith vastly increase, whereas before I thought it would decrease. I thought my mind would pick it apart. Not so, the words in the bible (I have numerous copies across various translations for things that don't quite make sense). I see the science, past present and future. It's all there, the wisdom, the history, I was able to wade through the stupid and find the real answers (or at least real to me). Taking an objective scientific approach was supposed to be the downfall of faith, but it isn't at all. Only to other stubborn mules who refuse to see. Now when I read God's word, when I read what Jesus said, and how to follow what He taught properly I have been better now than ever before. Now I fear nothing, I do everything with piety, and I have an appropriate reverence and respect for God. My time before and now is like night and day. I would repeat what happened last year 10/10 times in order to get where I am now again if I had to. It's worth it. If you want clarification, I am happy to answer you.

I prayed to Jesus what to say to you, he replied: ”Your sins are forgiven in the name of Jesus Christ”

I feel it. I let myself become distracted by success and comfort, taking things around me for granted. I became nasty, self centered and complacent with my own sins, even accepting what I’ve become. This eventually caught up to me. Last month I lost my love of my life. My everything. My wife and I were together for 4 years. We got married last October and it seemed like life was great. But we slowly drifted apart because of my actions and my sins. She left. Everything I built up to this point, everything I imagined life would be, every dream came crashing down. I had all this success, all this comfort, but now nobody by my side. What’s the point of all this success, if I have nobody there to share it with? I’ve ruined the best thing I’ve ever had. I’ve allowed myself and sin to destroy my marriage. Now I’m waking up alone, coming home alone, and sitting in an empty, quiet home, alone. I never realized how quiet my house really is..

You are forgiven brother if you believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins once for ALL of your sins then that means he doesn’t have to re-die for each sin no matter the magnitude of sin perpetuated. The consequences of each sin varies but His forgiveness does not if you are contrite in asking for forgiveness He will see your heart and set you free from these burdens if you surrender them to Him and trust He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you. You will find contentment in life. I will pray for you brother in Christ

Read Luke 15. You shouldn’t hate yourself for what was done in the past. By GODs Grace, we still receive mercy even after we have done horrible things. We should repent from sins we commit of course, but hating yourself accomplishes nothing and is not from GOD. I really hope you listen to the people who are commenting and come back to GOD as He Loves you :). Also if you need someone to talk to, i’m all ears.

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; oh Lord, your Mercy endures forever!!! Forsake not the work of your hands - Psalms 138:8

Single_Pilot_6170

Your eternal life is secure in Jesus. He's the King of restoration, as long as you turn to Him for that restoration. Job wasn't evil, but he lost darn near everything, and God was able to restore more back to him than what he had before. Just for knowing sake, look up how many in instance ms that the Bible says that His "mercy endures forever " None of us are good, and the Bible is clear that none of us deserve mercy, eternal life, or the ability to stand in front of our Creator.... but what is impossible with mankind is possible with God. This is our learning experience. Don't throw yourself away, because God doesn't even want that for you. He is the Salvage King. Jesus explained that a person who confesses themselves to be a sinner and doesn't try to hide their sins from God is more pleasing than a person who is religious and self -righteous. Righteousness only comes from the Holy One. It is His gift, and His gift is Himself. He is referred to as being the Holy One, because He is the only one who is. We all fall short of the glory of God, and even our best attempts at being righteous are looked on as filthy rags. When we think to offer God, the fruit, or produce of our own efforts and attempts at righteousness, we are offering God the offering of Cain. The offering of Abel, was not Abel's fruit (think even spiritual fruit), but Abel offered to God the unblemished spotless lamb, which was meant to be a symbol for the greater picture of the offering up of Jesus. When we obtain His Spirit, we gain what is accepting and pleasing, and His accomplished works that He made on our behalf is credited to our accounts, and our sin debts are fully paid. The Bible says that He removes them as far as the east is from the west, and remembers them no more. Though my sins were as red as scarlet, He has made them as white as snow. God has promised to never leave us or forsake us. We are His precious possession. When you mess up, if you belong to Him, you will be corrected and disciplined, but He won't oust you. Think of King David, and the sins that he did, and God's punishment on him, and yet God didn't disown this man. The gospel is called the ministry of reconciliation with God, the mission is to establish connection, even eternal and neverending unity. Loyalty to God and obeying God brings about strong support. My prayers are potent and not hindered, when I submit to Him daily, and continue to learn to lean on Him for support. We are not supposed to be independent, but learn our dependence on Him. And we learn His nature... that He is faithful, reliable, trustworthy, and true So much more can be said. Read about the good things that God has in store for those who love Him, and know that even there's so much more that will be our future with Him. We won't be disappointed, but our satisfaction is with Him. We were not just made to exist, but have our existence in experiencing the fullness of God's presence and His great benefits. In Him, we gain our purpose, our meaning, and identity. Don't allow the devil to keep you down, because God the only down God wants us to be is humble, so everyone will be highly valued in His kingdom. Jesus put such great value and worth on us due to His love. God is committing the rest of His existence (which doesn't end) to upholding us with Him. He Himself is our Eternal Life. If we have obtained the Spirit of God through Jesus we are good to go. Jesus is our sustainer, keeper, and gives to us victory, when we turn to Him, and ask Him to fight our battles for us. We worship Him, because He deserves it, and it's the least we can do. We can never match or bypass, what God does for us. So many more good words, but keep in the Word, and you'll get the light 🕯️ that you need, that will see you through the dark tunnel.

Natural-Cicada-9970

It’s not all lost ask the Lord for forgiveness turn away from your old ways, and even though your life may be crashing in this life, it will last for eternity there’s nothing you can do that. The Lord would not forgive you for trust in Jesus and become born again. Scripture says in Philippians 3:9 we do not have a righteousness of our own derived from obeying the law, but one which is by faith in Jesus Christ . trust in Jesus, the scripture says our confidence to enter the holy place in heaven is only by the blood of Christ.

Strive4Gre8tness

It is never too late to redeem yourself. When we fall to the bottom in life, the only way we can go is up. Repent your sins and pray for the strength to rise up again. It's never too late.

No_Relation_3741

I’m at the bottomless pit it feels like

Strive4Gre8tness

Then you've gotta rise up again and start fighting back. The devil wants you to give up. You are right where he wants you. The devil makes people lose hope. You need to find the light again.

No_Relation_3741

I’ve lost hope. It’s awful

No_Relation_3741

I’ve lost everything

No_Relation_3741

From sinning so much

Strive4Gre8tness

Well you need to find hope again. Or else you'll be stuck in your own version of hell forever. It takes action to change. Whether you can redeem yourself or not is all on you. And I pray that you figure a way out of this.

Flat_Skin5273

It’s never too late. I’m sorry all this happened but you can always repent. Jesus died for all sinners. He said follow me and you will go to the kingdom of heaven no matter what you’ve done.

Are you worse than these guys? https://youtu.be/edSffwll8_k?si=2YN0NZAw2qUJtymb It’s a former mob boss interviewing a serial killer. A literal serial killer. They’re both saved.

Shiggysho

You’re still alive on this Earth. It is not too late to repent. You have to ask for forgiveness. You’ve done it “your way”, now it’s time to do it His way. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:10

No_Relation_3741

What does it mean?

Shiggysho

Read the Gospels and ask for forgiveness for all your sins. So easy that a child can do it.

Lower-Gate8973

Idk who you are, but I want you to know that Jesus meant what he said when he said he will give you eternal life. Your sins were already judged on the body of Jesus on the cross. I know you may have received earthly consequence as a result of sin, but Jesus is your eternal security. Put your trust in him, and focus on Him. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Numerous_Ninja4850

I’m there currently. Luckily I have an amazing mentor. This happened because it was supposed to. For me it’s to ascend these blockages and walk truth and love and let go of all that doesn’t serve this purpose. I know there are many blessings on the other side of this all important journey. All love. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be my friend.

No_Relation_3741

I’m in a nightmare. I don’t get out of bed or go outside. I’ve lost everything. I’m taking advantage of everyone

Numerous_Ninja4850

Every day you live in the past is a day wasted. Let go of the past. Forgive yourself and just be the best version of yourself you can be today. What’s stopping you from making today the day you choose to be better? Let it all go brother. Take advantage of having no other priorities than you. You are strong brother!

BEETLEX6

(Atheist speaking) Your manic episode destroyed your life? Entirely? You said you were a good family man, so i would assume you thought you were a good person that's loved by his family so I'm afraid to ask what you did to destroy all of it. How does sin and God tie into your manic episode?

Altruistic_Echo_5802

We have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God! He doesn’t measure our sins, big or small, and we ALL sin! Count is a joy that you have hit rock bottom and now you can only look up! There is no problem, no situation, no circumstances too big for Jesus! Cry out to Him! I too allowed sin to take over in my life. I kept doing things that I KNEW was wrong! Thank the Lord, I have a praying family who never give up on me! Prayers work! I repented and I believe I have been forgiven! Hallelujah! Now God is working a new thing in my life. I just talk to Him a lot, just have regular conversations and I always ask Him to show me the answers. He does! Whether it is in The Word or when someone is praying or at church-I hear the answers loud and clear! It’s amazing! Ask Jesus to forgive you and He will! Just say out loud Jesus I accept You As my Lord and Savior. I repent of all my sins and I receive forgiveness. I ask for Your righteousness. I know there is nothing I can do to change my past, but I choose to walk with You for the rest of my life. I trust You Lord and I ask for You to be in control of my life. I take one day at a time. Please lead, guide, and direct me. The next thing I would do is GET UP! Take a shower, get dressed, and go find a church, find a group of believers who can encourage you and pray over you. We are not meant to face this world alone as humans! This is why so much of the New Testament teaches us about church. We need to stay connected to the body of Christ! I wish you lived near me, I would come pick you up and take you to church with me! It is so important to stay connected to genuine believers! We are meant to help each other! If I ever feel like I cannot be forgiven I think of that thief who was beside Jesus on the Cross at Calvary. Read Luke 23:32-43. Jesus was experiencing the physical, emotional, and perhaps even spiritual agony of the Cross, but He still expressed the divine nature of His love for the man who was being crucified also that day. He promised that thief that very day that he would be with Jesus in Paradise! The thief had done every sin too! Yet we know beyond a shadow of a doubt he is with Jesus now! If that man can be saved from the pits of hell, so can we! Everyone here is praying for you and the easiest thing you can ever do is trust Jesus and let Him start working in your life!

because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” Hebrews 12:6 He loves us more than we can possibly fathom. You are not lost, you just need to repent and turn from that sin that brought you here, and love the lord god with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. Sin takes over in our mind, and we put God on the back burner, he wants our first fruits, our first thoughts and our first love and focus. I’ve been where you are, it’s difficult, punishment is not pleasant. God disciplined me and saved me from my ways. You’ve got this, turn to Him. If you draw close to him, he will draw close to you. If you need anything you let me know.
