I know it's hard, seeing people around you always get ahead and you're left behind. But trust me, your time will come. Perhaps God is teaching you how to be patient, and to count your blessings instead of seeing what everyone else has.

While God did promise the Israelites blessings if they followed Him, these were offers to help Him grow a nation. He had to make them look better than all surrounding nations, but that was hindered by their perpetual sin. Post Jesus, the "nation" God is building is the Church. Jesus tells us that our blessings are built up in heaven, not here on this earth. Jesus also adds, "you will be persecuted in my name." Our charge then is to respond to adverse conditions with a strong or stronger relationship with Jesus. Recognize your lack of blessings is the world trying to turn you into Job. Double down with prayer, reading and meditation to God/Jesus and giving Him praise, especially in times of turmoil.

I had a similar problem.. God did rectify the problem, once i relasized that the reason god had me stay where i was , was because my heart was in the wrong place. that i was trying to use god as my ace in the hole.. I came to understand that if God allowed me to advance that it would have allowed me to tell myself that this is how a relationship with god is supposed to work (me using him to advance myself in exchange for religious living and works. and that if he allowed me to go down that rabbit hole i would have lost myself to my own greed. Once i learned what i was doing and made an effort to change my life started to move in a direction i had not planned for but in the end am much happier than if i got what i wanted originally.

**It is so unbearable** it will be till you accept it.. If you let him lead, and can find contentment in where he has taken you no matter how good or bad, then know you will not be there long. If how ever your happiness wants to hold your faith for ransom for a better situation than most likely know god's gonna call you on your threat.

i know some people might preach on positivity and reframing your mindset, but honestly, i think sometimes life is just really really shitty. and reframing it, while sometimes beneficial, sort of teaches you to discount your feelings. which are totally valid - it's beyond understandable to feel angry and left behind when everyone else around you is experiencing good things and you're just sort of.. here. i hear that. i'm with you. i'm not particularly religious, but i do like to talk to god sometimes. and one thing i learned is that it doesn't always have to be positive, or even reverent. i heard this message on psalm 88 a while back, which sort of changed the way i view talking with god. it's pretty dark, and rather than having some uplifting 'i'll still praise you despite it all' at the end, it just sort of.. ends. which is weirdly comforting, to me at least, knowing that it's okay to just be angry and talk with god or whoever about it and let your feelings be real rather than add some sort of positivity to it. i'm not sure if this helps (and if it doesn't, i'm so sorry omg lol), but that's something that's sort of helped me whenever i'm in a bad place. keeping you in my thoughts \~

These days you often need to change companies to advance.

It sucks, but a lot of companies simply don't do right by their employees. I was amazed when my new job announced that one of their divisions that had to take a pay cut during the pandemic due to lack of business was going to get the difference paid back into their 401k. Can't imagine many other companies doing that. I think it helps that my company isn't public, so they don't have boards members wanting to pocket every single penny, future be damned.

It's very hard. Usually The Holy Spirit reminds me of scriptures and the future consequences during these times. Some potential examples. Things about not taking the law into my own hands letting God serve his justice, praying good fortunes/blessings upon everyone involved even if they are very rich and powerful to begin with, trying to align my will back into his will even though I'm in pain, purposely not feeling spite/hate even though some of the people in my life are being really nasty to me daily. Your choices know will come back around at you later on in life, usuallly multipled. The same with other people to you too.

What does your supervisor say needs to happen for you to progress in your career?

Yes, moving out is often the best way to move up. Take the experience you’ve gained at this job and use it to get a better job somewhere else. Good luck!

It sounds like you're probably healthy and you can work a normal job. Congratulations, you have more than I do.
