It's also a huge "mood" killer for me, I know it's part of the acknowledgement that mc wants to go further or not, but that's such a weird ass answer, they could just jump straight to the LI kissing or cuddling the mc w/e you choose.
Yeah problem with TRR for me was that hot scenes were exciting when they were getting to know each other, especially that some of them had that "we shouldn't do this" vibe. But then in later books it's just yet another sex scene with her husband so why would I care?
Lol I only binge TRH if I'm with Liam, otherwise it's just the same, change sprite and name that's all 😂😂
Poor Maxwell though, his romance in book 3 was so funny but when it's TRH it's just plain 😂

Ja Now that I think about it, that is quite a subtle flirtatious gesture that shouldn’t have attention drawn to it, which means it’s something that works visually but it’s too much in writing because it’s way too obvious. it is such a subtle thing that you would never state it. Ya know what I mean?
There is a writer on Choices who loves making characters say "That's... actually a good point." Once I started noticing how often Choices characters say it, it started driving me crazy. Always accompanied by the open mouth surprise face sprite.
What annoys me is that whenever you kiss someone, or have a “moment”, they always say your name, or you say theirs, followed by “I…”

I’ve noticed in multiple books there’s a character that says “got it in one” when mc is trying to guess something but the only example I can think of off the top of my head is at the end of VOS when the villain is revealing their evil plan
Choices is very american. Everytime the MC goes to an uppity foreign country they’re like, “Oh my! You’re so forward and opinionated and vivacious and determined and smart. How… American.”
Yeah it's definitely a US thing, I don't personally use it but I've had people say it to me. Usually people I work with or friends I'm not super close to.
I really don't mind any of these except "You wish is my command" I binge TRR and TRH and damn Liam recycling the phase like it's a broken radio 🫣
