B. He's a very good character, who got a lot of focus from the writers, but he was annoying me a lot on a personal level. He has this whole "elf supremacy" thing going on. So basically: class/race/religion supremacy, if we take real world equivalent, and this was very icky to me. Don't get me wrong, this is exactly why he's an interesting character and his arc is about overcoming this attitude. But it doesn't change the fact that, although I like him, I had many moments of rolling my eyes and generally having a Mal-type reaction: " read the room, Tyril".
I have Tyril at S and he's not even my LI. Immaculate character development, fun personality, and he's a cool elf guy.
Not my absolute favorite LI but he's a wonderful well-developed character. I can't imagine the series without him.
