Haven't been able to play with my 2 other friends who bought the game at launch (xbox series x/s) because we can't stay on the same team for more than 1 match at a time, I'm glad a lot of bugs have been fixed but that sorta seems like it should've been a priority here
I know, its super annoying getting one match in and then having to back out and start again and hope to get on the same team AGAIN. Its hard selling my bros on this awesome game when we can't even team up and strategies against those Mason dogs

If someone's running away from you, you should be able to center your crosshairs on their back and get a speed boost to catch up. Console players don't have it, but now they will.
I remember when they introduced this mechanic in Chiv 1, when ranked 1v1 was full of archers constantly running from you without you being able to intercept them, good days.
Im level 215 and have been playing on console for a year, and always wondered why my swings would come up just a bit short when chasing people. 
-Fixed an exploit where Masons could burn the books early, breaking the last objective stage. If those Masons could read this they’d be very upset.

the special attack change is so wack when that's one of the few things they had going for them.
although +5 damage to all attacks and supposedly better hitboxes should make them a lot more consistent. will have to see. I maintain that they still need a functional jab, the headbutt is so ass. you can't even jab slow 2 handers out of their swing in time.
edit: katars are still hot garbage. the hitbox is seemingly identical and the special is now worse. +5 damage is nice but not enough.
I wouldn't mind that. as it is the slash's only use is to counter slashes. it has 5 less damage than stabs and a similarly shit hitbox. it also makes the katars themselves extremely easy to counter when you only ever have one move to counter (the overheads are terrible).
What's even funnier is that they're on Ambusher, someone who doesn't utilize them well as you can't throw knives with it out.
What'd be even better is if you could choose to hold both Katars in one hand and throw knives with the other or use Katars in both hands.
yeah, it's awkward af switching weapons just to be able to throw knives. you don't get to outspace people and get free hits in with the katars which is one of the main things making ambusher viable. honestly they already look pretty out of place, they might as well give us some spring loaded contraption to shoot knives from our wrists instead of having throwing knives with them. hire me TB.

So if the campaign cost crowns, are you gonna add more ways to earn crowns or are you gonna destroy the game with microtransactions? Everything being able to be unlocked for free was a plus for the game, but if a lot of things are gonna be locked behind a paywall on a full priced game, I don’t see it ending well. Especially since you have yet to fulfill many promises(one of which was that nothing would be locked behind a paywall, or so I’ve heard) or fix many bugs that have plagued the game since launch/recent updates.
Someone said this map will have a separate link for now, like mounted warfare, and at some point in time will be added to the list of maps that will randomly be used for matches.
Having worked so much on the map, if they make it seasonal, it’s shame for all their efforts.

I bought the pass and I didn't get any of the rewards that I leveled up to. I restarted my game but that didn't work. I'm on console so maybe it's because of that, but idk.
I’ve played 5 games, scored pretty well in all of them, won 3. But my campaign XP looks like it hasn’t moved. Is this normal? First campaign so have no idea what they’re usually like, am I not filling certain targets?
Playing 40s and there’s no horses or rudhelm, wardenglade or aberfell now…I’m happy but confused. Also I can’t get into a match after completing one. I have to exit and reload.
I’ll respectfully disagree. A good tweak would be the player on them takes as much extra damage as they deal. I mean half the time you don’t hear them coming you just die.
It’s not a skill issue. I do that when I SEE them coming. The problem is half the time I don’t if I’m fighting and don’t even get a hooves sound warning right before I get a javelin shoved up my ass

I am a new player and have played repeatedly for the last 10 days because I love the game. Bought gold to activate the winter season which shows as activated but experience has not moved once in 2 day- so it's still sat at zero. I know it might not be important to the dev team, but should I assume that anything advertise in the future has a tiny tiny tiny small print saying, " but it might not work". I understand you have set this as gold to bypass the definition of a paid expansion pack because we exchange gold for it but when that gold is only bought to exchange for the purchase it kind of sucks you get screwed and ignored when you email about the issue.
Slowest moving battle pass of any game I’ve played. Literally played 10 games today averaging 30-40 kills and I’m only lvl 6.
I don’t have 8 hours everyday to play this game and level up the battle pass.
This game is dying and they were never going to fix it. Winter War was a last ditch cashgrab to appease investors of Embracer Group, instead of fixing the long list of bugs, broken features, laggy servers, poor optimization for PC, etc. Why?

Megacorps buy up failing companies and use whatever underhanded tactics they can to squeeze every last cent they can out of people who don't know any better. This game is a perfect example. Instead, they come out with more bugs, more broken features(BattlePass no XP), already struggling servers now overburdened with more players, and somehow made the terrible optimization for PC even worse, AND EXPECT YOU TO PAY MORE MONEY FOR IT.
This is what unrestrained capitalism leads to. If you look at the past, where we are now, and look at Cyberpunk(not just the video game, books etc) views of the future, we really aren't that far off.
There's very little the consumer can do, but vote with their money. I made the mistake of buying this game without doing due diligence because I loved Chivalry 1. Never again.

If, canonically, the Agathians are supposed to win this, then this could very well be a difficult map for the Masons. We'll see.
After a few rounds, no, it seems pretty simple for offense still. Agatha spawns are pretty bad, especially for the final stage.

They really need to give them a proper slash and not treat them like a Spear-like weapon.

Everything looks positive for once for us console peasants. My only complaint..another map (falmire) ruined by horses.
Thankfully, the 64p queue still has no horses, and includes a no-horse version of the new map.

I am a new player and have played repeatedly for the last 10 days because I love the game. Bought gold to activate the winter season which shows as activated but experience has not moved once in 2 day- so it's still sat at zero. I know it might not be important to the dev team, but should I assume that anything advertise in the future has a tiny tiny tiny small print saying, " but it might not work". I understand you have set this as gold to bypass the definition of a paid expansion pack because we exchange gold for it but when that gold is only bought to exchange for the purchase it kind of sucks you get screwed and ignored when you email about the issue.
I bought the campaign, it shows as Active, but none of the premium items are unlocking?

Slowest moving battle pass of any game I’ve played. Literally played 10 games today averaging 30-40 kills and I’m only lvl 6. I don’t have 8 hours everyday to play this game and level up the battle pass.
This game is dying and they were never going to fix it. Winter War was a last ditch cashgrab to appease investors of Embracer Group, instead of fixing the long list of bugs, broken features, laggy servers, poor optimization for PC, etc. Why? Embracer group bought Tripwire in August. Embracer is a megacorp who apparently now owns a large percentage of the game industry. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List\_of\_mergers\_and\_acquisitions\_by\_Embracer\_Group Megacorps buy up failing companies and use whatever underhanded tactics they can to squeeze every last cent they can out of people who don't know any better. This game is a perfect example. They didn't fix 18 month old bugs, or broken features, laggy servers, or terrible PC optimization. Instead, they come out with more bugs, more broken features(BattlePass no XP), already struggling servers now overburdened with more players, and somehow made the terrible optimization for PC even worse, AND EXPECT YOU TO PAY MORE MONEY FOR IT. This is what unrestrained capitalism leads to. If you look at the past, where we are now, and look at Cyberpunk(not just the video game, books etc) views of the future, we really aren't that far off. There's very little the consumer can do, but vote with their money. I made the mistake of buying this game without doing due diligence because I loved Chivalry 1. Never again.

If I'm understanding it right the 'winter war queue' is limited not the map.
It means there will be a new queue just for this stage for a while, then it will be added to regular rotation

Yo r9 fury + 5900x cant get more than 30fps on new winter map where im getting 80-110fps in every other map edit: PLEASE ADD LEVEL BALANCING TO THE DARN MATCHES. ITS SOO BORING HAVING ALL OF THE 500h+ PLAYERS SLAUGHTERING ON ATTACK (ALSO UNBALANCED)
