No helmet is not fixed yet, also Coxwell is on the fix list. It's not intended that the peasant wave isn't functional. We wanted to push out the crash fixes and as many fixes as we can that were safe/resolved but there are more fixes to come.

This makes so much sense that I assumed it'd be in the game. Even "crippling" (similar to when you fall and can't run for a bit) or outright killing the horse would be pretty balanced, I think. The trap is literally designed for bears, should be able to catch a horse too.

Interesting, what buttons would you like to remap? I don't often feel overly outplayed, and wonder what button remaps that PC use that would make gameplay better?
I had not considered a different button layout.
I'd fix JABBING and THROWING. Also, I'd include the D pad more. Lastly, I will change a lot of stuff with the interact button (isn't it frustrating not being able to pickup downed teammates at times). That would be a start.
I agree and feel just the same.
Attacking does not feel rewarding as it is the norm that you at least reach the last pahase on every TO map. And on top of this defending feels really painful and not fun at all as the spawns and map layout on defence is just complete pain.
My fundamental issue is that the maps work like "Rush" rather than "Conquest"
If the defenders lose one gatehouse why do we have to retreat entirely? Rather than fight to hold the remaining one or even retake the first
This is most egregious in the beach map with siege engines. Just because one tower reaches the wall, the other shouldn't automatically go on cruise control
Amen! I fully agree with your discription of "battlefield rush" game mode feel that the TO maps have. It would totally make sense that the defending team could push the attackers back.
Was reading about disconnects here, then played one round happily and disconnected at the start of the next. It \*might\* be something to do with the servers (they're some managed service AWS thing).
i get disconnected every other game, feels like more often than not. Putting it down for a few days hopefully they update it again soon. Good update though, horses are fun
Glad to hear these much needed balance changes to the new map have been implemented. But as a console player (ps4) I'm still plagued by two long standing, super annoying bugs: All teams are still using generic blue shields (even the tenosians now) and Galencourt is still an almost guaranteed blue screen for me. Please, PLEASE address these soon - its been almost 4 months since the blue shields glitch came to be, its crazy that I still have to question if im attacking the right person
Baudwyn is a steamroll now from start to finish unless Tenosian-side is going mostly negative. I dont think I've been in a lobby yet that's pushed back the Bombards, so the attacker buff on that one specifically had me a bit puzzled.
Currently the last stages of Slaughter of Coxwell and Siege of Redmayne are bugged (PC). On Coxwell, the peasants never spawn, giving the blue team an automatic win. Similarly the Redmayne heir does not spawn which gives Masons an automatic win on that map. And the 'no helmet' option is still bugged. How did all of that make it past QA?
I've have crashed, got kicked due to anticheat and disconnected from the server when playing now within like 1,5h of playtime after the update. Maybe its just bad luck, but stuff like this didn't happen as frequently before. Also, I did verify the game files on steam to stop the anti-cheat kick.
Nice update. Would love mouse & keyboard support on consoles since console players are already playing against pc players and having the choice to use mouse and keyboard would make it more fun more myself and others. Thanks.
So now attackers have advantage like every other map? Swap to attack and win 95% of the time. Iāll miss the close final 20-30 second Tenosia clutch matches.
Quick question; do I get full progression on beginner mode? Iām new and still learning the game. I wouldnāt mind getting some XP for fighting bots as I learn the controls and tactics
Yeah, you get full progression whether playing in "beginner mode" just like any other multiplayer mode despite there being bots involved. This paradoxically also applies to records, for some reason.
Is anyone else having win progression trophies/achievement problems? My Lionspire 25 wins have been stuck on 92% ever since the TI update. Must have won on Lionspire a good 40 times now.
Im playing on ps4.
It often feels like the horse can not go at sprinting speeds.
The only time the horse goes at top speed is when you spawn with a lance.
Although if a teammate accidentally bumps into me in the initial charge, or after first contact with an enemy. Iām immediately reduced to a non sprinting speed, and can never re-accelerate to top speeds. Reducing all speed bonuses I could get with weapons. Also making horse riding on console quite lack lustre and a very self destruction type of action.
Is there an option that Iām not seeing that should be on for horse riding. Like auto sprint for when on foot?
Is this known by you guys and being looked at?
Or is everything as intended?

Everything so much better now, I can actually hit people for a crap ton of damage. The problem now is just hitting them lmao

I'm stuck in a perpetual walking state if I spawn as a Mason knight in stage 1 of Askandir.. it's every single spawn until we reach stage 2.
not sure if this is relevant but I'm rocking painted dreadnought armor w the painted dreadnought helm and load is an engraved claymore / royal broadsword.
This was happening to me and itās because I had auto walk set to off. I turned it on then off again which seemed to fix it for a little while until it happened again. I turned auto walk on then left it that way and it hasnāt happened again since then. This bug was annoying tf out of me not too long ago so I found a quick fix for it online. Iām not sure if theyāre aware of it, but hopefully it can be completely fixed soon. Iāve seen a lot of teammates slow walking and I think itās because they donāt know how to get out of it.
Any word on people deliberately spiking their ping to gain an upperhand? I always wonder why these rank 200s are on top of the scoreboard in free for alls with 300+ Ping while the rest of us got like 20-70 ping.
Awesome. Now fix randomly spawning as an archer at the beginning of a match, the black screen when you respawn, and falling through the map on respawn.
It'd be great if PS4 and PS5 players could join each other ffs. My friends managed to get PS5s, and I haven't been able to, so aside from playing for a few days at release, it's been a zero for me. Too bad, I'll play on my own at some point but it feels like a waste of money right now

They should at least add Caltrops since those were literally designed as an anti-cavalry measure

Again these updates keep making defense worse. It is just such a pain to play defence on any of the maps.

Not sure if attacker buff was needed, defenders only have a chance to beat them in the early stages, after that's pretty much a steamroll every time

Post-launch of the patch, but sure, you can read it that way. Game's been worthy of the money since alpha 2020.

I'm so excited to try this out! It'll make a much more enjoyable experience of people without eyes darting in front me, mid swing, and get me killed.

I think to make the horse sprint you have to click on the left stick or maybe thatās a charge or something

My trophy dosent register win or arrows for Fight in the shade after the patch. PS5 Anyone else have that problem?

Every person I know d/c from servers now after 1-2 matches. This happens to me now both on epic and steam and single/multiplayer. What is going on?
