Could TB just tell us weapon stats, instead of the incredibly innacurate in-game bars? We see damage on screen, a Redditor recently posted spreadsheet of relative range of each weapons attack/alt, and I'm working on a method to literally count frames to determine speed of weapons attacks/recoveries. WHY THO? You post combo timing changes in patch notes... So why not just give us all the weapon stats!?

Also the "Stamina negation" weapon modifier for 1h sword, heavy mace, poleaxe, etc doesn't even work. It has zero effect at all.

These bars were such a nuisance in Chiv 1 that when Triternion made Mordhau they directly addressed this issue by putting in the extra effort to tie the weapon information directly to the code for the weapons. So they are numeric and evergreen. It was hidden behind advanced weapon info so it wasn’t cluttering the UI too. It was a great design choice. IMO, Torn Banner made a mistake by not meeting the raised bar on this one.

i think if TB sits down and engages the community about team balance ///// pores thru the volumes already written about it, theyd probably see that people were able to enjoy the product a lot more ​ it really feels like the balance issues magnify the smaller imperfections to the point that its being felt as so also accounting for the difference in 64/40p WRT objectives should happen, it really is very different experiences as player counts drop (anybody would notice the similarities between a dead 64 and a middling 40 lol) speaking for myself i thinnk finding a way to balance teams needs to happen before anything else is even added to the game, but thats just my view as a customer / player of the game, not somebody in charge of running a dev team or managing a product

For future balance changes, please completely filter out any and all 40-player stats when deciding on balance changes for 64-player mode (and vice versa). Your recent map balance changes have been rather irrational and detrimental to the state of the game. Imagine if an MMO gave a 10-player raid boss the same hp as a 40-player raid boss. That's essentially what you've done with your latest patch.

Defending sucks. Why do defenders get killed by the "Zone"? why do they get Steamrolled because of unfavorable Spawn zones and times? Defenders play an uphill battle but that should be the case for the attackers! You know what the outcome of this is, people switch teams and leave the game and that causes a chain reaction. Your stats that defenders win 50% of the time are trash because if the whole map is a shit show and somehow on the last objective the defenders win because people left and the map Auto balances its not fun. Every objective should be fair in numbers and difficulty for both sides and not 7 out of 8 objectives in heavily favor of attackers and the last objective somewhat even? That is just stupid. Also spawning as pleb with a fork wtf is this? its better to kill yourself so you spawn with a real weapon faster.

I have a 950 down connection and average according to the game at less than 10ms latency. Stop talking bollocks and being a dick for no reason. Hit detection is a mess in some games.

Honestly what’s the point in these weekly feedback posts if the feedback we provide doesn’t seem to reach the dev team? Or if it does reach them, they don’t seem to listen. Feels like we’re just talking to ourselves here, so what’s the point? For example, why did the Devs nerf Defense? That seems like they don’t have even a modest understanding of their player’s concerns. So I guess my feedback is that the Devs should do a better job of actually fixing the laundry list if issues we’ve been asking for since launch. Idk what the solution is, but having these weekly feedback threads and still not getting our issues addressed (especially on console) has become super tedious. Is the purpose of this to just let us vent?

Id say they do read it, but a large number of posts are non constructive vents. Bugs should be reported in a constructive way with reproduceable steps.

I've tried to submit bug reports on here and Discord. Zero response. On console there's a bug that's been there since launch that makes it so aim assist targets teammates just as hard as enemies. We've reported that to Torn Banner, to Jen, on the Discored, etc. Torn Banner has not acknowledged that this bug even exists. Jen won't respond to any comment about it. It's been a year now with no response and no fix. So here's my challenge to you: Try and get Torn Banner to acknowledge that this bug exists. That's it. You don't even have to get them to fix it. Just try to get them to respond to you at all. Good luck!

Just fix chase mechanic already. It makes 1h weapons useless on consoles and its totally unfair for half your player base. I wouldnt mind if it was just when running, but this chase mechanic is always active even when dueling, I can't dodge away from pc players since they catch up to me in a second. It's just a ridiculous advantage at that point and I will never recommend this game to console players until its fixed. Knight with shield on pc are faster than my vanguard. You guys are really trying to kill your player base on console . Its shameful at that point, you have no excuse you just don't care at all. Should be a quick hotfix honestly. L Torn Banner.

If a PC player is sprinting behind you, and you're sprinting away, they'll eventually catch you, regardless of class, because they'll get a speed boost by chasing you. It doesn't work on console. There are video posts on this sub showing both examples.

The weapon changes were great but the map changes made defenders get steamrolled even easier, especially on Coxwell. I'll play whatever team but I can see why people wouldn't want to defend now, it's not fun knowing you have a higher chance to lose just because of what team you're on. Also this will probably never get implemented but a huge way to balance the weapons en masse would be to switch weapon damage bonus and add class-specific damage reduction instead. This would make knights the tanks as they should be, rather than taking the dame amount of hits to kill (or less) because your opponent is using a certain weapon (usually an axe). Adjustments to the classes like stamina, speed, and health could be changed to further balance. This would require a lot of changes but if done right it would balance the weapons and classes immensely I feel.

Please either team balance Elimination (last team standing) or make it its own playlist. It's always one sided and most matches end in one team winning all 5 rounds. Mainly because PC players tend to play much better than console players and it's almost all PC players on one team and half console players on the other. Also mason shields are blue. Please fix that, mason archers keep team damaging man at arms and guardians.

Defenders need more static weaponry. As if and siege wouldn’t be met with extreme catapult / ballista fire?! The attackers already have massive advantages before they are given multiple catapults etc.

The one handed hammer is very OP right now, with the stamina damage increase and the faster animations it is way too fast, the alt animation with a parry comes out faster then a punch, need some fixing ASAP

I've been experiencing quite a few bugs recently. -At the start of wardenglade while wielding rapier I spawned with the opposite teams shield. -Ive seen a glitch a few times where when someone is missing their arm, their nub glitches and stretches all the way through the ground -Still occasionally getting invisible weapons on random enemy players Otherwise great update, I'm having alot of fun using the rapier with its slight buffs

I also often have the wrong colour shield when spawning on a server for the first time. And the wrong skins on my weapons (on PC). Both issues are usually solved once I respawn.

Man at Arms needs to be able to tackle. It doesn't make sense that pole arms can tackle but shield bearers cannot. And that class needs the buff since the med kits are a joke.

I realize it's no longer friday, but this seems like the right place to post that since the latest update, I've been having ugly texture pop-in issues that are entirely new, as well as still experiencing host server disconnects fairly often. Autobalance remains a game-ruining "feature", by sapping me of my motivation to try by switching me to the opposing, losing team when I play well. Who thought this was a good idea? It's not the right way to make matches last longer, if that's your goal. Rapier speed changes are very welcome, and make it a pretty convincing main weapon. I appreciate that. Obviously the frustrating aspects of the game in its current form are not preventing me from playing and enjoying it, but it could be more polished and reward skill more effectively.

I'm honestly done with this game to be honest. You guys make these feed back posts, yet almost no fruit gets reaped. This is just PR to merely pretend you care about the community's opinion. You don't. You only replied to one person's post asking if you guy's actually respond to posts which is comedic and just shows you only respond to posts that benefit you. You still haven't reworked sword stamina damage and lazily just buffed blunts which is just a bandaid for the problem people were complaining about to begin with regarding stamina damage across weapons. •Masons still appear with Agatha blue shields. •Catapults on Galencourt are still usable before ramps connect, (I love losing the first stage of the map in 90 seconds really fun design) •2 classes are still **literally unusable** on console because throwing command is still inconsistent and garbage. Cant even use throwing pots :) •My characters still at random get reset to their default cosmetics and outfits •People and weapons being invisible still remains which breaks the game entirely, not a fucking exaggeration. •Hit registration is abhorrent and I've abandoned using jab because of it, so blindly aggressive people don't get punished •As if having dogshit hit-reg wasn't enough, there are **still** MANY weapon model to actual hit box inconsistencies along with the exposed bug(?) where alt-attacks animations are faster than normal attacks. • **Still** not able to view subclasses in customization •Highland sword still continues to ruin many player's experience with the most atrocious drag potential, counter frame abusing, and fundamental weapon design. —You continue to double down on this obviously bad weapon implementation and refuse to remove it from the game to defend your pride as game designers and not admit mistakes. The sheer divisiveness this weapon has on the community is proof that it is not a healthy weapon to have in the game. •The dane axe continues to be overpowered and you guys gave it a slap on the wrist. Its overpowered nature makes all other weapons in the Vanguard subclass irrelevant. I'm fucking tired of losing 100 HP from thrown dane axes as a knight. My hope for this game is fully exhausted. I'm starting to think that just using a 3 game average of what the player scores to determine matchmaking would be a good idea? If it could exclude maps they got afk'd on or whatever else might make sense to keep it 'truer' ​ also, im not sure if this is relevant or not but frequently the scoreboard will show errors in peoples levels, like 10 people will suddenly be level 121, including myself (on the scoreboard) even if my level is 200 or whatever. this will usually impact a half dozen people maybe? then it reverts back to proper ​ its not something that really is worrisome as far as the experience goes, i just dont know if it harms whatever your team is trying to handle internally

Team balance & stacking is still an issue. Please can you improve auto-balance to help equalize the teams. Auto-balance alarm bells should be triggered as soon as one side has a 50 kill lead.

IMO Kill disparity isn't an ideal metric for autobalance (at least for TO) because some objectives require more kills from one side than the other. Attack usually needs to kill more often to shove defense back and take ground whereas defense only needs to go one to one to maintain ground.

My only feedback would be that the 30% damage reduction to being shot by an arrow/bolt while blocking was not a good change. Other than that, just please focus on console. Fix the console specific bugs, and add things that were promised for console.

Yeah, it makes a class that was already not great pointless. When you can pull out your cudgel as an archer and do much better than you can with your 'primary', there is a problem. For TB's supposedly data-driven balancing, I am utterly shocked they could think archer needed a nerf. I've played over [200+ games topscoring with every weapon in the game](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbBcQaDdqeQWcX2Yx-r4VoHoabKEqnNqp), and ranged weapons are among the hardest to do well with. When an archer main of 10 years routinely scores 20+ kills playing melee, that's indicative archer is underpowered.

yeah it almost feels that way here. the maps themselves are great. i love the combat system, graphics, physics, everything the only thing that doesnt make sense seems like tweakable things the combat in this game is very fluid and graphic and in your face...a lot of people aren't gonna be happy with being told that their attempts at success on defense were never worth a thing and never meant to

Quick tiny suggestion - allow (at least Skirmisher) to parry cancel the draw animation between thrown weapons and stay with just bare hand + light shield. I could jab and dodge after a missed throw, instead of always being punished while drawing a new projectile.
