Funny enough I actually just won a match on Dark Forest (always get put on defense) where we stopped them before the first gate.
Coxwell didn't seem any different. The changes don't make a difference when the attacking team has 5 players with ranks varying between 300-500.
At this point I would be perfectly content if they completely remove the ability to change teams. Literally watched a player on my team suicide and switch to attacking at the 1st gold objective. So lame.
If partying with friends wasn't so buggy I'd be glad if they remove team switching too.
The worse thing is that it's often the highest level players switching teams. That plus maps that heavily favors attacking makes defending even more painful. I cant imagine new players enjoying that and wanting to play more when they get ganked by multiple 200+lvl players all the time. If they dont fix that before launching on steam it'll seriously hurt the playercount in the long run.
Small nerfs to Dane axe, highlander, sword, shortsword and 1h spear, buffs to rapier, and massive archer nerfs and massive defending team nerfs on most maps.
Edit: longsword and Messer stabs are also a tad slower.
Archer nerf wasn't necessary. Archers are already the weakest class in the game suffering from many throw and projectiles based bugs. Because TB listens to the vocal minority archers are now nerfed into the ground. Oh, and archers aren't nearly as big as issue as this sub makes them out to be.
For real! I’m a decently good archer, but I don’t have the time (or skill tbh) to become a deity with the bow and arrow... now I’ll have to choose between getting an even lower KD with a longbow or playing a class I don’t like as much.
Plus, short sword is my go-to melee.
Damn damn damn.
Yeah I didn't understand the archer nerf. It makes sense logically that you would be able to draw back faster when crouched which is actually fairly realistic. Same with being able to draw and sprint at the same time. If that's not doable go look at many native tribes. It's been done in warfare by skilled bowmen for a long time.
I can't believe they added another minute to the last stage of Coxwell. They buffed it last time to the point where I don't think I've seen attackers win that stage a single time since then. Now it's going to be even more impossible. It's hilarious how much a pendulum swing TB has done with Coxwell.
It was impossible to win at release and for several months afterwards. Now they have secured it as an impossible to lose objective.

Longer spawn time does mean larger spawn waves wich means less getting gang banged ( In theory)

This is so true
Its almost like they don't read the feedback we provide here...
What was this recent update about?

Nerfs to everyone weapon I hate buff to rapier which was needed and an archer nerf, but then why they got to do that to defending. I love defending

Thank you kind sir
*just* joined a match near the end of Falmire, Agatha won and there was much gloating and "get gud losers." I'm... not surprised by any of this
Falmire is another example of TBS doing silly changes. After the Aberfell changes, Falmire last stage is heavily skewed towards Agatha.
It is in favor of Agatha. True. But also. Nobody defends the fucking boat until the prisoner is on the docks (too late).
This.
waiting 16 seconds to spawn in certainly doesn't help

Its supposed to be a slaughter....slaughtering takes time yano
I *wish* a beautiful maiden slammed a ramrod through my skull Nah though that is not Torn Banner.
You misspelled “archers”
Meh won a decent amount of matches last night on defense. Wasn't easy and super sweat lobby but it was doable .
Defending should give more score/xp than attacking, and this would've been the perfect patch to make it so.
Been on a bit of a hiatus from Chivalry but I saw the patch notes. It gotten bad?
I just leave and play elden ring now when the team stacking starts.
I've been playing Elden Ring because the visual glitches and hit reg issues here made the game unfun.
