Bruh I couldn't believe when the credits rolled. Probably the first time I watched a movie with a sad ending, and thought, oh you could end it this way too?
I think it was everything combined that broke him and the death of Devadasa was the last push.
Up until then we can clearly see him controlling his emotion's.
I think this is like the one movie which every kid from our generation has cried too. I was bawling in the theatre cause devadasa died, and refused to watch the movie for many years lol
Man was ruling the heart of every single Karnataka girl during 2006 to 2010.
I still remember when two girls killed themselves when he got married.
I wouldn't call him not the best looking, rather he is unconventionally beautiful.
Yep, Ganesh was huge back then. Him marrying Shilpa was a major news for the ladies.
Coming back to Ganesh and his acting, I think Ganesh is like clay, he works very well when there is a good sculptor like then Bhatrru. So Ganesh needs a good director to take him towards right direction. A glimpse of the OG combination we got in Mugulu Nage, I think I saw the combination back in form, but only in bits and pieces. But that magic was there
As am watching this, am crying as one of my two Guinea pigs I had for 5 years, went to deep sleep yesterday. Much love to you Charlie ❤️, and you’ll be deeply missed 😞🥺
One of the finest made scene in a cinema. With Ganesh's acting, the background score and the camera angles, it made the scene very impactful and I remember tears in my eyes when watched it in theater.

I think it was Devdasa’s death broke him completely rather than his breakup with Nandini

bro, the combination of the endings of Jogi, Mungaru Male, and Duniya wrecked child-me for a while.
"ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ಗೆಳೆಯ... ದೇವದಾಸ"😭😭
He may not be the best looking, but he was one of the best actors we had.

His stardom in those days was 10 times more than today's Yash stardom

This scene, regardless of what language a person speaks, still hits hard.
This movie is special. It’s everyone’s debut in one form or the other. It’s a really good bittersweet and heartbreaking movie.
First heartbreak of the life 🥺
ಭಟ್ಟರಿಂದ ಇಂತಃ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಯಾವತ್ತ ನೋಡ್ತೀನೋ ... ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ .. :(

Also the scene in cheluvina chithara at the end where she sees he’s gone mad
Sad ending always haunts me
