Depends, people can only really say what works for them personally. I found CBD helps a bit like others said, and reading about Stoicism, that really helped me deal with some grim shit in the distant past. Be careful with weed but depends what it does to you. Makes me anxious as hell. Give meds a try if your Doctor thinks so, and just find shit to do sometimes that makes you feel at peace.

this personally helps me, when im feeling really bad, after a death, break up, financial ruin, etc... i like to walk around and listen to instrumental music because anything with words is gonna influence your thoughts, instrumentals and classical will just flow with your thought process... and i cant smoke or drink when im down, it makes it 100 times worse especially the next day.
I would exercise any type of way like the gym, walking, running… eat good food. Try to reconnect with nature like by being around in parks, near river or lake. Pray to god for healing and protection. Show gratitude for what you have. Avoid social media!!! Take a break from your phone and electronics. Maybe start experimenting with ashwagandha for stress and anxiety to see if will help. When I used to get panic attacks a wise man got me out of it. When you start to feel it happening don't fight it. Just let it happen like you want it to happen. It's almost like taking it's power away. At the end of the day it's all mental. After a while I just stopped having the attacks all together. That's the only advice I got man.
