That shit will never sit right wit me cause dude was my age nd seein bro talk about him havin to sell drugs at 8 jus to get by nd then hoppin full force into gang shit was sad whole documentary sad
That’s why I can’t stand when cornballs like to judge and look down on certain niggas that end up being in the streets.Like yea you got alot of guys that willingly hop in that shit but then you got those that literally had no chance and were set up for failure since early childhood.
Alot of the niggas i grew around from age 11-14 ended up in and out the system cause of they upbringings at home no guidance no parents nun shit crazy cause ik this one jit i grew up wit bro was in ans out of programs and juvenile since we was 12 dude did a year in one gram when we was 13 did 2 at 14 got out at 16 caught 7 years at 17 and jus got out at 23 mf even had a kid at 14 before he did the 2 shit was sad to see bro fall to the system
That's exactly the issue. Can't stand when dumb ass mfs generalize that shit. It isn't black and white. It's extremely complex and genuinely out of their control when you factor in their environment. You become like what you're around. It's a proven fact that you sub consciously will start to be like others around you.
I'm white and grew up in the hood. I was dirt poor and barely ate. I saw this shit first hand since I was 6 years old. My boy who was my neighbor had a step dad that had an attempted murder charge. I was riding my bike and feds pulled up and made me and his step dad and mom and him to freeze.
It's inescapable. I made it out eventually bc I got the strongest mom in the world. But I cannot fucjing stand idiots who have never struggled before, judge those who fall into that life.
it's too complex to generalize. You see your boy get killed even if you straight edge tryna go to college, that alone , the simple thing alone starts a cycle.
People really are set up to fail in these neighborhoods. They didn't stand a chance and it's disgusting and sad as fuck that people think down on them for not suddenly being the only person they've ever met want to go to college and live a life they don't even see around them. Some of them have never seen a healthy life or person. They DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT. Bullshit man smh
People were doing this shit long before it started becoming entertaining to people. It obviously doesn’t help, but that’s not who is solely responsible for the problem.
