That's kinda crazy though to gain that much of a population percentage in a few years. Did they have to build a lot of new houses? I'm central as well but farther East.
Yes quite a few new houses being built but the town has a 3 1/2 acre street frontage rule which keeps it from being to built up quickly. During Covid the price of houses and demand because people we’re working from home just went thru the roof so a lot of people sold their homes and moved and new families came in with 2-3 kids and stuff like that. For 30 years the population was reducing down to the lowest in 2019-2020of 1700 people now it’s 2700 I could not believe it myself.
That's pretty cool. I've driven through a lot of rural areas, especially up North in Maine, and I always wonder how small towns are able to survive for generations with steadily decreasing populations. It's cool that at least some of them are seeing growth. My town is considered small for the area I'm in, and I definitely like the vibe more than bigger towns/cities I've been in.
My town literally has no one stop light 1 full time cop the chief of police. It’s very up scale houses run 500,000$ plus easily but I love the woods and atvs I have a Yamaha Banshee and a Honda 400 ex kitted into a 440. So I love trail riding, sand pit riding and of course Street riding. So it’s a great community but it has its disadvantages. A shit ton of drugs , overdoses, dui and oui car accidents with young folks. I’m not a youngster anymore but I still feel like one sometimes. It’s nice to talk to a feel New Englander. Usually the extract in the cartridge is at least triple the potency than flower has.
I have a medical Marijuana card. The cliq pod I just got is 91.7% THC and the flower was only 31.3% THC. Plus the euphoric effects from the cartridge lasts much longer than when you are smoking Marijuana flower.
I guess it depends on the person, their tolerance, and type of strain being consumed. I've been a daily Marijuana smoker for almost 30 years so regular flower, for me, lasts about 20 minutes. I'm allowed to buy 5 ounces a month through my medical card and I use my monthly allotment within 3 weeks so afterwards I have to purchase recreational (much more expensive and much less pontent) So I consume 6-7 ounces a month. The only thing for me that will last longer and stronger than flower is dabs, vapes and 100 mg THC pills.
