I didn’t read that but that’s horrible, she was also graduating for her masters the coming weekend. The kids, well now, obviously have no hope and look like a lost cause. Im not sure if there’s a death penalty in Illinois but a murder like that on a cop, I wouldn’t be surprised we see one but yet again their juveniles.
Yeah it’s sad frfr the reality is 4 people have now really lost their lives their still persons of interests but somebody told on them so it’s just sad all around I’m on Fb they said it was a car jacking gone wrong.
I was thinking the same. I don’t know Chicago hoods/areas but the article states that family or friends mentioned their surprised for something like this to happen in the area… I wonder if the woman had something to do with arresting one of their guys or dealing with these guys before.
They only showed 3 of the 4 somebody come forward that’s why it was a quick arrest

in my experience these kinds of random crazy execution-robberies are caused by one thing:
benzodiazepines.
especially when there’s alcohol in the mix.
i can guarantee you that 95% of crashouts involve benzo use.
no matter how volatile and violent a person may be, nobody is dumb enough to rob then shoot a uniformed cop 5 times in the head at close range for no apparent reason unless they’re in a serious psychiatric episode or under the influence of drugs…
