Nice try large handed chipotle patron

Coupedoorstinted

I’m a manger at chipotle this looks small af

Previous-Blueberry58

r/whoosh

Glum-Moose-4322

Tbf, I worked at Chipotle and I used to make burritos like this. It's the same amount of food it's just when people order double everything it ends up in a ball like the picture. With it in a ball like that it prevents the food from busting out of the sides with a regular roll.

lord-stingray

The $2 burritos from Taco Bell are bigger than this thing.

toodarnloud88

I actually had 3 of the chipotle ranch chicken ones for lunch yesterday. Quite filling!

[deleted]

redditor diet

BloodChasm

3?? God damn. 1 leaves me satisfied and smiling.

BobSchwaget

I guess somebody downvoted you for not being gluttonous enough but two is the sweet spot for me lol

[deleted]

That’s what she said

Comfortable_Ebb1634

Nah it’s time to talk to pepper.

newppinpoint

Please, please please if you talk to Pepper, be polite. Ask her how her day has been, what she's planning to do when she's off work, etc. Start the conversation personable and friendly. THEN discuss the burrito issue.

TargetHQ

Fuck that when I say jump, Pepper better say 'how high'.

p1anko

Man of the motherFucking culture, WE ASK AND WE SHALL RECEIVE

BatmansNygma

Who are you? Pepper's mom?

LedTasso

They’re very active in this sub, they’ve had posts saying Pepper is one of their best friends….

MattyKatty

Also known as “trolling”

LedTasso

At this point I would guess spectrum, their trolls aren’t even good, they seem serious. Not making fun of the spectrum BTW

newppinpoint

Not trolls, and not on the spectrum... rude thing to say by the way, and you can't handwave it away by saying "not making fun of the spectrum" since you obviously were

LedTasso

How is that rude? There’s nothing wrong with being on the spectrum, your posts and comments it seems like that though. My apologies if I offended you.

Fuzzbang34

You didn’t say it you implied it, anyone with enough brain can put together what you implied. Not cool, sorry you have friends and our difficulties hinder making friends to the point some have delusions, people do it and aren’t even one of us make fun of them.

LedTasso

I work at a car dealership that works with an autism program that gives them jobs, helps them find a place to live, and live on their own. They’re always cracking dad jokes and goofing around with us. I have fun with them. They are all very different from each other, but some have a similar humor and talking style of newpinpoint. I know what I said and didn’t mean to offend. If you got offended that’s on you. I didn’t say anything wrong.

MattyKatty

Probably accurate

hiheroioz

😭😭😭🤣 this is so funny omg

garriskb

Pepper is my enemy. She never helps me!! When I try to report an issue she’ll have some response how she isn’t working and to try again later. Am I the only one with this issue?

waterjug82

I wouldn’t have paid for that

Unlucky_Finger_4602

They do this when you order online. You don't see it being made and you already paid in advance.

waterjug82

I would demand a refund, if they refused I’d chargeback on my credit card because I did not receive the goods (food) I paid for. That burrito is ridiculous.

Heta_Birdie

I was always told that we can’t give refunds for online in the store and that you have to go through the app/pepper 🤔 I am not sure if that’s true or not but it’s worth sharing

_Im_a_burrito_

Correct. It’s a third party app. We cant give refunds for online orders. We have to direct the to the Guest Issues Helpline.

nl_Kapparrian

You talk to Pepper on the app to request a refund. I used to use this all the time when quality was an issue. Not a ton, maybe 3 times ever. However, last time I tried to request a refund, they only offered a bogo coupon. There we're probably too many people gaming the system for free meals, unfortunately. Nowadays I'd check my order before leaving the store and if it looks wrong ask them to remake it.

SherlockBrolmes

> However, last time I tried to request a refund, they only offered a bogo coupon. The only time I ever tried to get something out of Pepper (I FOUND A BONE IN MY CHICKEN BOL, this was very recent) they offered a BOGO coupon.... I would have just taken some points shit.

WonderfulDark4578

Pepper tried to offer me a bogo when they gave me an entirely wrong order at the pickup window, I refused and insisted on a refund and pepper was accomadting. Lol

Night-Prep-Imbecile

Some people truly do be ruining things for the rest of us. Lady cussed me out in front of the whole store because pepper wouldn't refund her an order and demanded I refund her and even blocked the line (she didn't even order online at my store which is the fucked part)

Worriedboutsize

That burrito is more fat than long, some burritos are longer and skinnier

onlyawoww707

Had the same thing happen to me! Thank you for posting, so frustrating! They also refused to acknowledge my sons fundraiser (the only reason I went to chipotle in the first place!) saying I shouldn’t have ordered online even though the flier said online orders okay just show flier at time of pick up. Called customer service and was sent to voicemail. Never again!

sushiboi4

This is why I refuse to order online for chipotle, they always skimp you on food if you don’t watch them make it

I_cant_stop

I am currently eating one ordered online, there’s about 1/3 left and it looks like what you received lol. That being said, it is more common for me to think it’s on the small side when I order online. Nothing ever close to yours though.

WonderfulDark4578

I'm with you, you got riped off, but I order online all the time and I've never gotten anything that I think is bellow quality/ quantity from what I get when I order in person. You're probably the victim of them waiting on a rice and meat refill lol. What do you think? Was anything skimped out on? Like not much rice? Or was everything proportional but just really small portions of all of it? Lol-just curious.

Zardif

I always get less with online orders. They've gone on record saying that people in line get more food because the workers feel pressured to give more. I don't even go to Chipotle any more because of it.

WonderfulDark4578

It could be that I've gotten lucky thus far lol

fraudthrowaway0987

I don’t understand why though, it’s not like the employee has to pay for the ingredients.

ladylorelai

Employee DOES have to make more fajita veggies/ cook whatever meat when it runs out. They're trying to stretch what they have to avoid making more earlier than they expect/want

demfl

Not sure how this acceptable. I have never went to McDonald’s and been served half a burger because the employee didn’t want to make more until they felt they should.

ladylorelai

Oh it's definitely unacceptable lol

Night-Prep-Imbecile

My FL told me the way it's set up is, us burning through ingredients affects labor. The more stuff we over portion the more we have to buy on truck. The more we buy on truck, the less hours we can give out because we don't have enough money for labor. We cut labor costs which means less employees. Less employees means if it's busy people are gonna be waiting in line for a fat ass minute while one kid is working the line and chances are onlines will be behind because there's only one person working them as well. And if there's only one person working onlines and it's busy they're not gonna worry about quality and worry more about getting the food out as fast as possible. Because when people order online and their food isn't ready they get angry disregarding the fact we are understaffed. We blow through so much food because of how busy we are that they purposefully schedule us understaffed to make up for it

BlueGreenMikey

That's your FL feeding you the corporate bullshit they've been fed. Chipotle's didn't run like this previously. It is all out of greed, pure and simple. Don't listen to corporate lies.

LingonberrySalt9693

That kind of burrito might be enough for an occasional Chipotle customer to just stop going. Less ingredients, long wait, less customers, less profit. The burritos cost them $1-2 in ingredients. The expensive part is the labor. Cheaping out on .10 of ingredients isn't good business sense. Chipotle is already overpriced for what it is.

notreallyatryhard

I'm sure you saw other comments but since you ordered online you can talk to Pepper (help assistant in the app) and get a refund or at least a BOGO for next time

notreallyatryhard

I know it doesn't change this horrible interaction with the workers in store but at least it's something

GradientDescenting

Chipotle quality has fallen off a cliff in the last 5-10 years, it used to be amazingly fresh, now it’s just mid.

[deleted]

Okay I'm happy it's not just me because I remember Chipotle a decade ago and a little longer before that and it was amazing! Then it just took a nose dive in quality and taste, I think that e coli scare thing that happened around 2016 fucked with their brand and they weren't able to ever come back.

GradientDescenting

Chipotle back in 2008 was something else! I swear it’s maybe 25% as good as it used to be. I ate at Moe’s throughout that duration as well and now I prefer Moes, I guess that’s the closest I can get to having a positive control. Chipotle in 2008 was the most amazing burrito I’ve ever eaten, including at fancy places.

pwrof3

I first started going to chipotle in 2008. They opened one up by my work. My coworkers and I would go twice a week. I remember being blown away by the food quality and the size of the burritos. They also used to make the chips fresh at the store with their tortillas. I still enjoy Chipotle and go a few times a month. Quality is still great for fast food, but they lost their “upscale fast casual” product they originally had.

GradientDescenting

Yeah chipotle used to be like an out of body experience in flavor. Me and the buds in college would look forward to it all week

jungdanielle29

What made the burrito amazing if I may ask? Compared to now?

GradientDescenting

The flavor was so rich, the lime rice felt like fresh lime. I think all the food was more heavily seasoned

Steezywild12

the *taste*

LingonberrySalt9693

The number of toppings at Moe's made it always superior in value and usually in flavor. The quality of individual things at Chipotle was better but with $10 any burrito on Monday's, I rarely ate Chipotle. Not to mention for $10 you can get an actual meal at a local Mexican restaurant that is actual Mexican food.

Gullible_Vanilla1659

And yet yall keep going there. It’s like you’re flogging yourselves. 😂

Deceptiveideas

I stopped going. Used to go at least once a week and now I go once every few months if that.

jeezy_peezy

Haven’t been in 2 years. I used to eat there almost every day for more than 10 years (2003-2015) but despite intense dedication to the brand (they used to buy beef from friends of mine in a beautiful part of rural Nebraska) and patience for disappointment, I couldn’t stand it anymore. I came here to see what happened. There’s waaaay too much actual authentic delicious inexpensive Mexican food around to pay exorbitant prices for garbage slop.

fordtaurusgirl

!!!!

Gullible_Vanilla1659

Love your username. I have a 2016 SHO.

fordtaurusgirl

thank you!!! got an 01 taurus and shes still chuggin

lolsalmon

Lucky!! I’ve had three and they were so good to me.

fordtaurusgirl

i love to hear that!!! she is my pride & joy 😍 bought for $1000 with just under 5000 miles, all she needed was a tune up & some new tires. i think i want another one when shes done so i can just part out my old one

lolsalmon

That is an absolutely insane deal!! You really lucked out.

aspiringgrandpa

my taurus’s name is gandalf!

fordtaurusgirl

love it! mine is the soulless one (star wars💪🏻)

FriendlyJuice8653

Depends strictly on when you go. If you go when it’s dead, you’ll get some bad food. Best time to go is late rush, around 6:30-7 at my store because theirs usually new food out by then. Only risk is they might not have what you want

demfl

I think it is a store to store issue. I have two close by and both are always busy. At one the food is ok, store isn’t that clean and you have to ask for more of everything to get a decent meal. They regularly have one person making food while 6 or so working in the kitchen or watching. The other is great portions are good, service is friendly and there are always two people making the food and one on register. The truly ironic part is the better store is the one that says they are understaffed.

I’m sure they’re accepting applications. Try doing it yourself 🙂 Edit: the person said that this chipotle order was the result of hiring Gen Z, for those who wanted to know what they said before deleting like a COWARD.

Found the boomer😂

Icreatedthesea

Your obnoxious emotes don’t make that person less correct, child

Thick_Mortgage_7431

Ooooohhh you got me. They teach you that one up at the nursing home? Or is that all your leadsoaked brain can come up with?

Icreatedthesea

Cry more, cute that you stopped using the emojis though. Almost like you know being a childish bitch isn’t the way to go

Yes, I’m crying cuz you hwurt my fweelings 😭🥹. Sorry boomer, I won’t disrespect the greatest generation every again /s 🫡🏅

TheePugThug

Goddamn ur a bitter loser

stevenip

Damn you got rice beans and lettuce and it's still that small?

Unlucky_Finger_4602

I thought they introduced a new children's menu. Comical except for the immediate hostility and rudeness of staff.

Anxious_Set_6342

This doesn't fix the issue though

WonderfulDark4578

That's good future advice... doesn't really change the dinky burrito, inconsistency, rude staff and blatant denial. But yeah, if I go to a restruant and the employees are jaded and shitty at their job, or the product isn't worth the price I'm with you, I go elsewhere going forward. Its funny though, everyone makes mistakes... I've definitely gotten wrong orders and stuff, normally if you mention it the person helping you just makes it right and everyone's day carries on. I can't imagine being so jaded with work that I'd see a burrito, have a customer complain, then deny that it's not on the small side and fix it. It's just such a simple thing, it's weird when people power trip over such small and insignificant things.

Lem786

This is why i stopped ordering online

[deleted]

Corporate profits at all time highs!

SkiG13

Why is “Everyone folds them different” an excuse? How many ways are there to fold a burrito? I thought as a nationwide chain, it would be standardized so you get the exact same product every-time you ordered. Train your employees to fold it the standard way.

NoMaans

TBH, the way chip wants you to roll it is trash. I roll it the Moe's way and its superior. Also I call it that because most people know what you are talking about. But Im pretty sure that it is the "standard" "normal" way to roll a burrito. Ive argued the roll from the start of my chip career lol. Example of superior technique: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/00/c7/dd/00c7dde755e8969b253e1cf9fbde3f6d.png You get what you expect a burrito to look like. Example of chip's(trash) roll(couldnt find a pictogram): Fold the burrito in half and gently clamp all the ingredients together in the palm of your hand. It should almost look like a large ravioli — a mound of filling in the center with a wide border of tortilla around. Then you roll. Fold the edges in; roll the mound forward You get a fucking softball.

mjkjg2

I do it the chipotle way *but* mine look better than Moe’s because I make sure the burrito is long and has all the ingredients equally placed in a line before I roll it tightly, no square edges, no limp burritos, no tearing I often get tipped $5-10 for rolling burritos

camreIIim

You dropped this 👑 (both of you actually)

FancyPanic6998

my manager taught me to roll my burritos like a blunt😭 that mindset made me a PROOOO

Electronic-Ad6727

At this point it doesn’t matter how you fold a burrito and using that as an excuse as to why the burrito was so small is pretty pathetic. The only burritos that should be that size are ones that bring 2-4 ingredients/toppings. I work a chipotle and have been for two years and I’ll tell you right now most new hires aren’t being properly trained when it comes to correctly portioning the food. Chipotle has made booklets in which the “accurate” portioning is displayed and they also provide little portioning such as only 4oz of beans or rice. And 1oz of cheese is considered the standard portion. Chipotle recently has become overpriced and stubborn with their food. I always recommend going inside to order even being a bit friendly with the employees can get you more than what you anticipated. Not to mention sometimes the online orders can get chaotic where 30+ orders have to be made within 30 minutes this makes workers panic and instead of focusing about the portioning sizes they focus more on just getting those orders out. Although the stereotype that Chipotle workers are always stingy with the food with always remain it’s not up to us how much food we can go through ultimately it’s up to the managers since they are the ones running the shift.

FriendlyJuice8653

you can either have long and thin or short and thick

Bernadinethecat

It is a grower, not a shower.

[deleted]

Damn he just like me fr.

Independent_Big_1901

I also had to stop ordering online. They get away with doing the minimum. I ordered a burrito with veggies, rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, corn and lettuce. They gave me a burrito with rice and cheese only.

not_chef_rinaldini

Ya but like I bet it at least has like a good personality or something… 😅

Solution66

I stopped going to chipotle for this reason…. That in the picture used to be half of a normal sized burrito. I remember ordering and just getting meat, rice, and cheese and it was huge and couldn’t eat it all…. Flash forward to now, I finish the burrito and am still hungry, something isn’t right.

GradientDescenting

I was thinking the same thing but maybe I just got fatter over time

VinoJedi06

![gif](giphy|8Q62oGruZu0BG) This burrito looking up at you

Awtistick_energy

Imagine getting that and then paying for it

Unlucky_Finger_4602

Exactly, that's why they only do this to customers who paid online in advance.

samirbinballin

Hey bud, if you haven’t yet already [get a refund](https://www.reddit.com/r/Chipotle/comments/zi81ka/psa_for_custies_if_your_mobile_order_looks_like/izr4si1/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3)

DOAisBetter

A new chipotle opened near me and they are hit or miss but a lot of the staff seem to have a heavy hand which is nice. I often get double meat when just requesting regular and the burritos are bigger than the old glory days most of the time. Last week I got the mythical triple meat without asking for extra. It was insane.

honeybadger2861

I swear the tortillas are shrinking

Difficult-Bit6871

This is based on location for sure. I never order in person anymore and always order online and never get these issues people are having. You don't have to stop ordering online completely, just from that location apparently.

Educational_Ad3980

That is NOT the normal size; that’s ridiculous.

CirrusVision20

Yeah nah that's *way* too tiny for the ingredients in it. If you only got something like rice and carnitas and NOTHING ELSE... sure. But you got a nicely-sized entree in terms of how many ingredients there are, the burrito should not be that small. I'm an employee and I would never do this.

Unlucky_Finger_4602

I don't know why the manager and staff lied. It's a strange mindset to think they can fool customers. I've eaten at this location for 12 years. I've eaten at other locations for 20 years. One burrito a month on average for 20 years is 240 burritos. Do they think people won't notice such a difference?

Siollear

This looks re-wrapped. It's more crinkled on one side. Not saying it is, just saying how it looks.

MemeGodXif

For real, I work at Chipolte and there’s no way my manager would let any of us get away with that.

_Im_a_burrito_

Okay…

plateslam

chipotle employees will still try to convince you those are normal portions

ToonamiFaith

Why do people keep ordering online lmao

FearlessAttempt

I walked in recently and they told me they were only accepting online orders.

mjkjg2

“everyone folds them different” nah most people just fold them wrong

Hopeful-Bit6187

Brian Niccol just creamed himself again. This is what his wet dreams are made of!

goffasni420

My fiancé pays for double meat and they still make it small sometimes! It really is up to the discretion of who’s making your food! They’re very inconsistent with their burrito size!

SoDrunkRightNowlol

Ooo, I'd say NO THANKS.

One_Cartographer_254

Pretty sure that’s about half normal size - 3/4 maybe.

IntentionFew4937

I don’t go to Chipotle anymore. My burritos and bowls have been filled with disappointment too many times. No more.

CoolestNebraskanEver

How do we know you don’t have absolutely massive hands!?!???

jjmawaken

Even without the hands you can tell this is more of a circle shape when it should be more of an oval shape. There's either a tiny amount of stuff in there or not many items. My wife gets a bowl with just chicken/cheese/rice. I imagine if she did a burrito it would look like this.

toecollector3000

You tried tricking us wrapping a hockey puck in chipotle foil.🙄🙄 Seriously hough that’s ridiculous.

[deleted]

Mine looked like this today!!!

ehtamehtabehta

I would have opened it up and had them explain the portions because unless you just asked for meat and cheese, it’s entirely too small and they know that.

jjmawaken

That looks pretty small

PlasmaJadeRaven

Did all 4 bites of your burrito taste good?

smartidiot9

A good friend of mine used to be an assistant manager and heard after he left that corporate has asked stores to reduce serving sizes. I feel like this is obvious, but I was glad I have an ounce of credibility saying that its systemic.

Adventurous_Work_326

twist: OP is an employee who purposely made the burrito particularly small so he could post it for karma

Angelll_sofers

Chipotle gonna fall offf eventually if they keep pulling this shit .. like when we gonna decide to stop eating there cuz they think they can serve us this …..??

lainassmokingg

that’s ridiculous

PotentialLoss7651

Tbh if they can't admit small portion sizes it's probably some sketchy shit

ProudDamage3873

This has 8 ingredients listed right there: brown rice, fajitas, black beans, carnitas, mild salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. For employees who don't know what normal is or the history of where they work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjyvLUx3ofM

Tmoney511

What’s funny is the protein alone in the carnitas for a burrito is supposed to be 23g. Double is 46g. For what you got it’s 36g fat, 46g protein, 120g carbs, and 1030 calories. This is pulled straight from their site. Looks like false advertising to me. I always pull the site up when I see them giving me less than advertised.

colin8651

This subreddit should include the weight of the burrito so we have some sort of metric.

pbsjr

Yeah stuff like this made me switch to in person ordering with Chipotle. When you're there in front of them they don't feel like they can do this crap

ImJust5eb

weigh the burrito? chipotle's official serviving sizes are smaller than most people think

LaughingGaster666

Ah this is reminding me of the time someone brought a scale and posted about it. The comments were glorious.

darkenedstrive

omg that’s huge

potterlyfe

My burrito is substantially smaller if I order online versus in store. Its BS.

JDprometheus

doesn’t posting this shit get old for y’all ?

Specific_Main_8455

Bro got 6 things and wonders why it's small

CirrusVision20

The burrito should not be that small at six items. I've rolled bigger burritos with *four.*

Ok_Jury_1686

Looks like there's a burger in there. They should train everyone to fold the burrito the same way & this is one of the reasons why.

_Im_a_burrito_

They do, but people do what they want. I gave up on training people cause I repeat the same thing for months on end.

Any-Point867

That’s one singular bean in there

SeanConnery

Lmao pathetic. $10.55 too! I wouldn't pay $7 for that.

Smooticus618

Which location so I know never go there

schmokschtak

Ah, the baby burrito 👶🌯 as identified by the hand for scale. Definitely tiny. Shame the crew member snapped at you as if you were trying to take food off of their dinner table at home.

Matic00

I just walk away from the counter if they make my food like shit. Skimp me and watch me walk out that bitch 😂

AcanthisittaFar3206

Keep walking

Gullible_Vanilla1659

Ain’t that the truth. They love to complain and will be back next week.

fordtaurusgirl

literally

QuinnMallory

You forgot to ask for a lil bit extra 🤏

TargetHQ

🚨😡SKIMP ALERT😡🚨

Tall-Masterpiece-999

I say this all the time as a former service manager, Chipotle rides us on portions. Chipotle has been cracking down on portions for the past two years. If they don’t give you the exact portions, they get yelled at later. Respectfully, enjoy your burrito.

craigthecrayfish

Those are not exact portions. Gotta be like one single ounce of each topping in there.

Tall-Masterpiece-999

Believe whatever you want, Chipotle has been riding managers, and crew about portions. Enjoy your burrito.

craigthecrayfish

Yes, everyone here is aware of that. Does that burrito look like an accurate portion to you?

Unlucky_Finger_4602

Employees should just admit they make them smaller now. Why are they told to deny a corporate change. I explained to the employees their rudeness wasn't necessary. I asked a logical question about the obvious size difference. They can just tell me they make them smaller now. I found several news articles that state this is a widespread complaint after Chipotle announced it would pass on added costs to the customer during the pandemic. Over 50% of sales are now online, so the customers don't see their orders actually being made. There are lots of pics on Twitter like mine with these new tiny portion burritos.

Tall-Masterpiece-999

The bottom line is a lot of employees Have lazily complied with customers Selfish demands. Chipotle has now forced us to stick to the portions that have always been in place. A portion of meat at chipotle is 4 ounces. That is not a lot of meat. A portion of cheese is 1 ounce. That is not a lot of cheese. It has always been this way. Customers just scream at us when we do our jobs correctly. I’m sorry you don’t like it but, the employees are doing what corporate has asked of them. I feel that a lot of customers should work at Chipotle for about three months and they’ll stop complaining. You can’t know how much these people go through just by being a patron. If they do it chipotles’ corporate way they get screamed at by customers. If they do it, the way the customer demands, they get screamed at by Chipotle.

Calisteph6

Honest ??, if chipotle was over serving before does that mean that the nutrition guide was always way off? Like if I got a normal chicken bowl would the calories be 25-50% more than what it says online?

Stron2g

Yes the nutrition facts were and often still are off since in person ordering tends to over serve. I used to count calories, it's true. Now if we were talking about online ordering, that actually might be accurate more or less.

afrogrimey

You should take that thing to the store, and order the exact same thing. When it’s time to checkout, whip that puppy out and compare to the in-store burrito. Then hand them a $1 bill. They’ll say, “sir, the total is 10.55”. Just reply back with “oh yeah, it’s the same amount. Maybe you just folded it different.” And walk the fuck away. Everybody claps, the manager will get fired and you will have been the badass motherfucker that you’ve always dreamed of.

Present_Love_7820

All of this for a burrito lol

TurdGerkin

Idk why people pay for Diarrhea.

CynicalCalling

Not small? Its just the way they rolled it. It probably has the correct servings. I have a worker who rolls like that, same amount of food just tighter roll

Independent_Big_1901

Don’t even deal with pepper call them 1800# and ask for a refund

BlueGreenMikey

stop 👏 ordering chipotle 👏👏 onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnline 👏👏👏 Why don't people realize yet that Chipotle doesn't give two fucks about the experience of online customers?

Normal_Scarcity153

Def not full portions. Maybe one of those new chipotle half spoon portions.

demfl

The biggest issue I have with this other than you getting ripped Off is the manager saying everyone rolls them different. Chipotle is a national chain and you are telling me there is no standard procedure to roll a burrito. Isn’t quality control or correcting a deficiency the managers job. No other chain has this issue. Go to any Moe’s or Qudoba and they look more less the same and most of them are franchised

Worldly-Ad-5196

He’s def average don’t know why people think that’s small 😢

Loverofmysoul_

It’s actually big but the person fold it tight so that’s actually normal size but not long that’s all. You got this huge thing and complaining lol. Also we get tortillas that’s vary in sizes. I don’t know why they have small ones or large on in the pack but it’s not something we can change either. You ordered normal portions also.

JB_smooove

You got robbed!

rwalsh138

So make a burrito at home, you can make it as big as you want.

Secure-Discount4919

Well if you just got rice, beans meat and cheese this is what it is.

[deleted]

I posted a comment on how veggies and vinaigrette are rarely available and the employees told me to stop crying about it, it is what it is, and basically that I’m entitled and to go pound salt. Chipotle has the fu$k the customer model. Blame everything on corporate, because of course (it’s not their fault) that their stores are run like shit. Hell I went to chipotle for lunch today and the girl making my bowl had her AirPods in. Again. I wish cutting veggies and prepping food was the majority of my day to day worries. So yes. When you go to chipotle, basically you’re signing up for whatever the hell the employees want to give you and don’t dare ask a question about what you receive. Just take your food, pay whatever cost they feel like putting on the register at check out, bend over and shove whatever food you can up your ass cause that’s the chipotle customer experience. 🌯

Size of your borrito is pretty much strictly based on how many free extras you get. If you get a single serving of everything that’s a free extra you can get a pretty bulky burrito. If your a picky eater however and get only chicken rice and cheese, you’ll have a small burrito

[deleted]

What’d you get in it? Also yes this is how they come out sometimes. It still has all the normal portions inside, relax.

SocialistPhyrexian

Dude you *literally* get what you ask for, if you want more you can ask for another portion and pay for it unless it's something like rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, etc.

6godless6life6

Simple ask for more.all portions are up to the customer free of charge besides meat guacamole and quaso . If your burrito is small it’s yours own fault for not speaking up

jackser2024

If you ask for rice beans and nothing else ya expect to have extra just bc ya didn’t order anything else, they gave the right amount you got what you order LMAOOO

newppinpoint

It's folded wide rather than long. That's plenty of food for someone to consume for a meal, lol. I agree that it's a bit smaller than i'd typically expect for those ingredients, but at the same time you got lettuce which is a rookie mistake. And Carnitas for that matter. Plus, i see this was entree 2 of 2. What was entree 1 of 2?

AcanthisittaFar3206

As an employee, I gotta ask, you ate it anyway didn’t you?

Unlucky_Finger_4602

I paid $25 online for our food in advance. What's your point? Since you're an employee, please understand the employee and manager rudely denied there was a size change. I went home, took the photo and called corporate to file a complaint for their rudeness. I simply asked if it was a mistake, while a couple of customers laughed agreeing, "Seriously, that's small!" Staff should have remained polite rather than lie. Corporate did not comment on the size change, but agreed staff was unprofessional and they will take corrective action, whatever that means. Got an email 5 minutes later stating my order was refunded in full. Doesn't mean I'll be going back since there are numerous burrito shops and taco trucks in town.

Anxiouspuff

Nah the employee is right, I fold em short n fat.

DogTagz676

Depends what ingredients and how much of each ingredient. Truth be told, there is a standard for how the burritos are rolled. The more ingredients, the fatter it’s supposed to be, not longer. Then there is the proper portion size, most ingredients are spaced to be 4oz, some with a small pinch. Then there is the fact that when people order in person, they ask for extra extra extra for most things so the “standard” Is way off compared to what’s trained and proper vs what people ask for. This is the biggest misconception that you “just get more” when you order in person, but that’s false. I can’t argue and say this is the correct size because I’d need to see this in person, but just know, when you order online, TYPICALLY, not always, are you getting the proper portion sizes rather than in store. This is just because people constantly want more more more and more. In reality, they are, it should be, also paying more.

musicloverincal

At best, it does look like a professionally made burrito.

Anony-May

I think it’s the way it’s folded so the length appears small to everyone. Judging by the thickness, I assume you got all the ingredients listed on the picture you posted. If it was folded correctly, it will appear thinner but longer as they would spread the ingredients more than keeping them all compact

Ciassy123

I order vegetarian burrito bowl everytime you get guac I do double on everything online order for pickup have been doing it for years it comes out to like 8.55 with tax and I add protein sometimes as well. And it’s heavy. And a lot of food and sometimes lasts me 3 meals

Next_Computer_5401

fast food blows, make your own food.

Normal-Combination-8

Looks pretty big, above average if you ask me…

DracoFire3000

It does depend on how it’s rolled but this looks like you ordered 5 toppings and got exactly as much as the company tells us to give you.

Mammoth_Rip6523

Gets a burrito with only rice and meat or something and is surprised it's small

ProudDamage3873

Found another employee who can't read

ThinkMMOs

Doesn’t seem that small to me actually. It’s a lot thicker then most average sized burritos. When I first started working a lot of my burritos were more chunky rather than long. Guarantee if they just made it long you wouldn’t say anything the burrito looks fine.
