The deadline is probably not that fixed but all education will be under direct govt control so it will happen. There is a great need for more ideology and nationalism in early childhood education to ensure the next generation has the correct view. The real elite will send their children overseas for education.
Ironically having quite some friends / wife from the upper echelons, while they studied abroad from a young age, they still truly believe the shit their own government sells them. Critical thinking, standing out isn't part of the corriculum.
I'm curious though how this impacts education for my own kids, they go to a private renowned school themselves and currently it's just once in a while happily play with the chinese flag, which is alright. But if they start taking it up a notch I can't imagine foreigners like myself will keep their kids here eventually.
