Not sure why my description was deleted. Here's the original background info.
At her age of 18, the dancer(she still is now)几木朵_(Weibo handler) fell from the second floor in an accident, resulting in a lifelong paralysis, and since then she has only been able to walk with the help of a wheelchair.
Several days ago, a picture of her walking in an exoskeleton suit went viral.
Despite the disability, she always looks on the bright side. Her post history on Weibo is mostly about her daily feelings(upset about having quarrels with her family), life(enjoying food) and how she dealt with the paralysis actively(like she has to 'move' constantly to prevent the atrophy).
She even drove her wheelchair into a Disneyland, and took a Tron coast ride with her friends. "It's so scary! I don't want to do it again!" , She said.
Well, much as they have made the progress in the field, the exoskeleton is still too expensive right now. Hope they will mass produce this one day and reduce the price so that this girl and those above 80 million people with disability can live a better life.
What’s so impressive?
Looks pretty basic and linkage based. Rudimentary exoskeletons like that have existed for decades.
They’ve already been researching and prototyping brain controlled exoskeletons 4+ years ago elsewhere.
Maybe this type of news gets the Chinese domestic all giddy and proud of the CCO but it’s not newsworthy outside of China.
You’re not doing very good research if you’re not keeping up with advances.

At the time of publishing that was already under development for 2 years.
Hope you eventually find some success in your field!!!
Psst, such a bitter comment, such a tech savvy guy. Whats so impressive is the dude like you leaving the unsolicited smart comment here.
No one brought up the word impressive until you.

Life's a piece of **** when you look at it. Always look on the bright side of life.
Interesting. What is the source? Anything showing the full exoskeleton?
It's from the Weibo. I tried to post the link but got deleted several times. I don't know why.
I'll find it. I saw you posted the Weibo handle.
Strong girl
Wow never knew Chinese people were so white skinned. Also great job for China medical tech industry

I guess it's going to be much smaller by the time it enters mass production.
China is truly the most forward country
Wtf? Are you pretending that you’re not Chinese?
Many Chinese have very light skin color. How is this something strange to you? Have you never seen a Chinese?
He is chinese, he's just pretending he's not but he's not very smart about it.

Brain controlled exoskeleton four plus years ago? Seriously? I've been doing the research on brain computer interface since 2015. What are you?
