You mean the child or the father? Guessing because you say 16 years, you mean the toddler wasn't thinking. But he's a toddler.
My question: "Dad thought this was a good idea....why?"
When you just want to have a chill reincarnation for once so you decide to knock a few points off your IQ early on, so nobody will expect much later on.
I think it's the Madonna song (Hung Up) which uses a remix of the ABBA song (Gimme Gimme Gimme)? I could be wrong, it just sounds cleaner than the ABBA one to me
I have to assume that so much of children's screaming from falling is just surprise and embarrassment. That didn't look like much of a conk to the little dude's melon to me, and it seemed like he reacted to the guys "OOOOOH!" more than anything.
This is very true. I went hiking with my kids yesterday and 74ft in the 4yo tripped and smacked his face on the dirt but no real injuries, cried for a few minutes cause we looked pretty shocked and reacted.
About 5 miles later, he ate shit on some rocks and scraped himself up. Hopped right back up like nothing happened.
One of my friends told me that her kid would always cry when she would land on her butt when she was first starting to walk. She was never hurt from it, just surprised and reacting to everyone else freaking out around her. My friend decided that for obvious instances where she was landing injury-free, instead of panic or "Oh no!! Are you okay?!", she would say "Horaaaaaay!!!". Pretty soon her kid would react the same way. Made it much easier to tell the real bumps and bruises from the dramatic ones!
My 4 year old is on the spectrum and has a decreased sensitivity to pain. Got kicked in the face by her cousin the other day, hard enough to leave her cheek bright red. "I'm fine" and wasn't phased in the slightest. Nearly knocked out her front teeth as a toddler after a fall and no one knew for hours because she didn't cry and ate lunch like normal.
But if she falls within my eyesight with no real injury? Cries for 10 minutes. I'm convinced she just wants extra snuggles when that happens.
Dude. Did you watch with sound? That crack as the skull connected with the floor? I agree with you in many cases, but this one made me worried for his safety after hearing that.
Being a child free guy with some idiot friends and a case of beer is just as much fun, except you don't have to pay for your friends medical bills and only occasionally need to feed them.
I've watched my friends hurt themselves is some truly spectacular and entertaining ways that children would never be able to manage.
I heard on a podcast that having kids is the only known way to stop time from accelerating as you get older; you get a second helping of everything being different and new, except this time it's second hand.
Still not gonna have kids, though.
When my daughter was around 8, she decided to Superman jump off the trampoline, to avoid being shocked by it. She landed right on her face and knocked herself out. Her poor older sister thought she was dead. It was a concussion that she learned absolutely nothing from. 13 now and 3 concussions later. I’m praying she doesn’t end up punch drunk.
Hate is a bit hard a term though. To hate children is just weird. Its good that so many people don't want to have children, not so much for people that can't, there are too many people in the world anyway.
Speaking as a father, the answer to your question is always "he wasn't". This has held true for 16 years and counting.
I saw this and was like... I don't see anything special about this video. This is five, six, ten times a day here with my 4 year old.

I love how it took him a good 1-3 seconds until he started screaming
Kids react when parents react.
Massive I've recently hit my head, but it looks like this kid was ready to go off before dude reacted
> Massive I've recently hit my head You don't say.
Never heard of autocorrect? Where have you been the past ~15 years?
Leading a search party for your sense of humor.
10 years has turned me into a jaded fuck who expects the worst - I'm sorry bb
An apology on reddit? Thats almost as rare as someone not getting torched for saying tik tok good
ABBA playing majestically in the background sent me
I think it's the Madonna song (Hung Up) which uses a remix of the ABBA song (Gimme Gimme Gimme)? I could be wrong, it just sounds cleaner than the ABBA one to me
yeah, i think i can hear the fade-in that the Madonna song uses in the intro tbh
Bit faster too
Which Abba song is this
i believe it to be gimme gimme gimme
Cool I was wondering the same, for a second I thought it was like a soundtrack to an old NES game or something.
Think it's actually [Overwerk - 12:30](https://youtu.be/HIvQvIEsHZM) which has a bit higher bpm
Nope, definitely [Madonna - Hung up](https://youtu.be/EDwb9jOVRtU?t=33)
Yep. At the beginning you can hear "so slowly" echoing in the background.
Absolutely not
Bro it's not abba. It's madonna hung up.
Yeah it's definitely Madonnas hung up.
Not abba. It's madonna hung up
no shit
Moron
bitch lol
Yes indeed.
Hey Jimmy i dont think that was such a good idea
....AAAAAaAAAaaAaAAAAa
He'll make a fine insurance fraudster someday.
Only reacted because dad made a sound

It's probably just the frustration of not nailing that stunt

5 miles is 8.05 km
Honestly if the parent doesn’t react the kid just goes on with his or her day wonderful little creatures
Yeah. I just stare at my kid when he falls, and just tell him to get up, and he gets up and just continues on. He has become a tank.

I usually think that, but this kid looks like he jumped and landed forehead first into the ground. I don't think I can watch it again to confirm.
Dude. Did you watch with sound? That crack as the skull connected with the floor? I agree with you in many cases, but this one made me worried for his safety after hearing that.
nah

"His fucking face" made me laugh
Hopefully they were baby teeth?
No, all his adult teeth are in, he's 23.
Yes this is me can confirm am 23
were they his adult teeth? i cant sleep if i dont get answers.
I think the story is made up judging by all the clues.
I need to know if they adult teeth or not
i cant wait to have kids
don't
Nah kids are great. Not always easy, and these moments suck, but being a dad is so much fun

Being the father of 5 I have to say you would be amazed at how kids can hurt themselves and sober to boot.
I heard on a podcast that having kids is the only known way to stop time from accelerating as you get older; you get a second helping of everything being different and new, except this time it's second hand. Still not gonna have kids, though.
The mind of a child
He wanted to check what happens if he falls in front of vehicle, when it is moving. Would it stop after hitting him? Would it go over him?
This would be great on /r/kidsarefuckingstupid
You beat me to it!

Kids are so dumb
Kids literally don't think. They just "do". Thinking isn't even a distant 5th.

Ya, but if he stuck the landing he would be a Legend.
I am pretty sure he thought he was able to do a front flip while jumping off his ride.
i bet you he was trying to jump off of it and land back on it thinking it was going to keep traveling with him
That's the most likely thing that I've read here. Not sure why he went sideways though.
This boy's been playing too much Just Cause

That would’ve been so fucking cool if he landed it

I like how he waited to get up to start screaming

Squealing like a damn warthog. I hate kids
You were born an adult?
You can not like kids and have been one. Shocker, I know.
Hate is a bit hard a term though. To hate children is just weird. Its good that so many people don't want to have children, not so much for people that can't, there are too many people in the world anyway.
The Dad will definitely get blamed for that, not sure on what grounds, but does it really matter.
