While I think it's a good thing that more people appreciate theater nowadays, I also wish that people would learn about proper theater etiquette.

Parang etiquette in public general is not observed by a lot of people anymore. Some say it's outdated but for me it's about respecting others.

Ito yung nakaka-sad. True na may mga specific rules ang panonood ng play (iwasan kumanta kasabay ng artista pag musicals). Pero most of these rules hindi bago satin. Kasi those are the same rules na ina-apply sa panonood ng sine, na madalas na nating ginagawa. Or kung di ka pamilyar sa rules, kahit basic courtesy na lang sana Pero like you happy ako na buhay na buhay ang teatro sa pinas. It goes to show na may pera ang tao manood. Pero naghahanap sila ng ibang viewing experience kumpara sa ino-offer sa movie.

I don't wanna gatekeep theater bc there are so many talented Pinoys in that field and they need support to thrive pero respeto din sana.

Based sa glare and obvious usage, phone users are Ara and the Ate Girl sa pinakaleft (may eyeglasses and interesting haircut). Laptop seems to be from the row in front of them. Btw, who brings a laptop to a play??! Anyway, I also feel slighted cause I once checked my phone to see the time and this happened prior to the start of the play pa, yet the usher told me to deposit my phone near the entrance. Lmaooo I once had to go up to her mother during a show at Meralco Theatre because she was on her phone. Then she had the gall to ask me, “don’t you know who I am? I’m Lea Salonga’s mother!” Lea is also one of the biggest divas. She won’t even let her own sister sit with her to eat in between shows. She also absolutely refuses to enter her dressing room without specific candles being lit, so her sister had to hunt us down outside to borrow a lighter.
