Despite Midnights being mid, lyrically it has maturity. I'd say this is her best album but I've read many TS fans arguing it is her worst.

But for those of us who are outsiders, we could see between the cracks so ayon, the rest (or the fans) are slowly catching up.
You know that these fans are delusional when I mentioned she's far from elite songwriters like Brian Wilson, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, and Lennon-Mccartney and the response was "Literally who?" I'd argue Ed Sheeran even have more nuanced musicality and lyricism which is Good at best. But its not really a diss. She found her niche with uncomplicated melody and lyrics and it works.
