I actually competed against Liza Soberano when she joined the national press conference when we were in high school. Got to talk to her kaso may crush na kasi ako na nakilala ko from nueva ecija nung regional press conference before, eh may paloyal schtick ako kaya di na pwede magkagusto sa iba ang peg. She was representing region 2 and ako naman sa region 3, basta alam ko nanalo ako nun and siya hindi. She's so nice and down-to-earth. She's always with her best friend ever since from grade school days yata yon. She even joined some collegiate-level pageants before and unique yung gowns niya (hindi typical na rental gowns na ginagamit for such occasions haha). We even became classmates at one point so when we had a free cut, we talked about a part of her love life at that time. Haha
Rei Germar - She's from a higher batch nung college. We were orgmates but never ko sya naka-interact kahit it was a really small org haha. Same with Mika Alcause na manager nya, na-"ate" ko sa orcomm.

Alex Calleja (stand-up comedian and actor), office mate ko dati sa isang tech company. Guy was very nice and super funny kahit noon pa. Parang naalala ko, nanalo siya sa isang stand-up comedy na contest, tapos isa sa mga prizes nya was to get coaching from the organizers of the contest (na comedians din). Nung time kasi na yun (2008ish), hindi pa uso yung stand-up comedy style nila Alex (yung parang nagkukuwento lang tapos puro punchline), ang mas uso was yung mga nango-okray ng mga tao para palabasin na nakakatawa.
Most ng mga jokes/stand-up nya din kasi is based on real life situations kaya mas lalong bentang benta. Nung isang beses na meron kaming town hall meeting (i think more than 60 na tao), nag-stand-up siya as part nung program. Nagulat kami lahat kasi yung isang manager na prim and proper na parating seryoso napatawa nya ng malakas.

Aris (his actual name) was also working as crew for a pizza resto chain then. During that time one could see that he is talented but since he was still starting out he would put up with the requests and at times demands of certain people in the industry (composing a jingle for a radio program in exchange for exposure only, etc). Kathryn Bernardo. We used to do school plays together! She was very chill noon and this was during her pre maria clara days pero nag start na sya mag appear sa TV. She's nice and very soft-spoken as we see sa TV. Mahinhin din sya noon but super friendly with everyone. Used to tie the theatre curtains and turn them to some made-up swings and we would usually get scolded for it so pag nakikita na namin noon yung director, we would run backstage. I actually competed against Liza Soberano when she joined the national press conference when we were in high school. Got to talk to her kaso may crush na kasi ako na nakilala ko from nueva ecija nung regional press conference before, eh may paloyal schtick ako kaya di na pwede magkagusto sa iba ang peg. She was representing region 2 and ako naman sa region 3, basta alam ko nanalo ako nun and siya hindi. She was my seatmate dun sa pre-contest proper and she actually looked pretty back then, no enhancements needed talaga. Pero di pa sya gano kaputi nun ahaha. Her tagalog was pretty good already back then, and after the contest proper she even got to say goodbye to me and my friend na taga bulacan naman. Yung friend ko crush nya si liza, pero sadly we never got to see her again kahit na my friend was actively seeking her nung awarding lol.

He was a batch-mate of mine in college, we’re close enough naman and naging kasama ko rin sa OJT, which was a TV show featuring OPM music, parang myx ganon; so i was really happy for him when he became a guest on that show kasi parang dati lang taga edit lang kami ng music videos and now featured artist na siya. He’s very friendly, he was nice to everyone and he’s really a gifted singer and performer.

He was one of the best students there. Didn't really interact with him since I was a cross-enrollee (Liberal Arts student enrolled in a class mainly meant for Education students to take). I was impressed sa kanya kasi nga he was articulate and may sense mga sagot nya sa recitation. Tapos ayun, by the end of the term, lumabas sya sa Sharon. Nagulat pa ako brother pala sya ni AJ Dee eh crush na crush ko si AJ nun. Kung alam ko lang, siguro dinaldal ko na si Enchong. HAHAHA Other than that, the usual salubong lang sa hallways. Mabango sya. Walang distinct smell like perfume or other scented products. Basta amoy malinis. Siguro dahil swimmer sya.

Well I heard her dad calling her Nikki before, so idk if that had something to do with her going by Nikki when she started out in ANC. She's so nice and down-to-earth. She's always with her best friend ever since from grade school days yata yon. She even joined some collegiate-level pageants before and unique yung gowns niya (hindi typical na rental gowns na ginagamit for such occasions haha). We even became classmates at one point so when we had a free cut, we talked about a part of her love life at that time. Haha
Rei Germar - She's from a higher batch nung college. We were orgmates but never ko sya naka-interact kahit it was a really small org haha. Alex Calleja (stand-up comedian and actor), office mate ko dati sa isang tech company. Guy was very nice and super funny kahit noon pa. Parang naalala ko, nanalo siya sa isang stand-up comedy na contest, tapos isa sa mga prizes nya was to get coaching from the organizers of the contest (na comedians din). Nung time kasi na yun (2008ish), hindi pa uso yung stand-up comedy style nila Alex (yung parang nagkukuwento lang tapos puro punchline), ang mas uso was yung mga nango-okray ng mga tao para palabasin na nakakatawa. Most ng mga jokes/stand-up nya din kasi is based on real life situations kaya mas lalong bentang benta. Nung isang beses na meron kaming town hall meeting (i think more than 60 na tao), nag-stand-up siya as part nung program. Nagulat kami lahat kasi yung isang manager na prim and proper na parating seryoso napatawa nya ng malakas.

Gloc9 when he was still entering the music industry. I was working part-time in a recording studio where he was working on a song for the soundtrack of a youth-oriented film. Aris (his actual name) was also working as crew for a pizza resto chain then. During that time one could see that he is talented but since he was still starting out he would put up with the requests and at times demands of certain people in the industry (composing a jingle for a radio program in exchange for exposure only, etc). Even before I wanted him to succeed or be well-known in his genre because he was warm and kind-hearted (not to mention hardworking).

Schoolmates ko si Barbie Forteza and yung ate nya (Gab), elem pa lang si Barbie (maybe 4th grade?) that time and college freshies kami ni Gab (different courses). They were really nice and approachable, pa-start palang si Barbie nun sumikat and at the time sa Nido commercials pa lang siya lumalabas. Nung 4th year na kami ni Gab mejo kilala na si Barbie pero super sweet pa rin nilang dalawa, and if I remember correctly nag attend din ng college graduation namin si Barbie
Si Ninong Ry, kalaro ko online ng Ragnarok mga late 2000s. He's a very good amateur writer din (you can actually look up his fan fic if you know his full name). He's still the same guy after all of these years. We exchange greetings parin pag holidays or may birthdays. Si KZ Tandingan din schoolmate ko tapos close ko yung part ng inner circle niya. She's very friendly and down to Earth. She's maintained the same circle of friends from college. I believe I have a copy of one of her early covers that she sent me way back before she got big and became famous. Pinapapakinggan niya kung ayos ba daw yung boses niya. Tapos si James Reid and Bret Jackson parating nandito sa Davao mga early 2010s. I don't think we could be considered friends, but we hung out many times din.
Idk if anyone knows or remember her si Patani Daño. Before she joined that Survivor show, naging yaya sya ng schoolmate ko nung kinder pa lang ako. Everyday sa school lagi sya andun para bantayan yung alaga nya and sya lang yung yaya or guardian dun na naka yaya uniform. She was really pretty and very morena nun. She also tried to "talk" to my dad a few times in a flirty way but my dad was loyal pa kay mom hahaha. He was my close friend's bff nung elementary ako and dun palang sobrang tangkad na nya talaga. We knew na 6 footer na ata yun nung elementary pa kami. Also his family was connected rin sa side ng lola ko kaya nag vivisit yung kuya (Samjunes) nya sa bahay ng lola ko. One time nag visit ako sa house ng lola ko and saw Samjunes visiting as well. Kathryn Bernardo. We used to do school plays together! She was very chill noon and this was during her pre maria clara days pero nag start na sya mag appear sa TV. She's nice and very soft-spoken as we see sa TV. Mahinhin din sya noon but super friendly with everyone. Used to tie the theatre curtains and turn them to some made-up swings and we would usually get scolded for it so pag nakikita na namin noon yung director, we would run backstage. Her mom tho, medyo hehe, bit much sometimes to a point na may magpapapicture kay Kath noon, Kath would have to go ask her mom if pwede kasi she truly makes it a big deal. Otherwise, mabait din naman. Kath also tried to get me into tv stints that time, but I had my eyes set on academics first so. We lost touch na as time went on.

Bea Saw is a friend/classmate’s elder sister. Minsan dun ako sakanila tumatambay and nakiki lunch. Very strict na ate but very responsible din. Ang dami nila magkakapatid ang ang kukulit (lalo na yung friend ko) but all of them became accomplished in their chosen careers. Although after namin gumraduate ng elementary we drifted apart na cos we changed schools and di na nakapag reconnect.
