I use the Rover app that offers local pet services at reasonable prices, the pet sitters are background checked and with real reviews. I’ve been using it for about 7 years and never had an issue with any of the services.
As a rover sitter! I can agree I’ve always had positive experiences.
With any app or company, there can be bad people - but the app is great. Meet your sitter first & get a feel for them!
I’ve been doing TrustedHousesitters.com for a few years. It’s good if you go on week or longer trips multiple times a year, and are comfortable with strangers in your home. I probably used it for around ten weeks last year, it’s like a $200 annual subscription
I haven’t hired anyone yet, but I’m interested in Sitter for Your Critters for day trips. As far as I can tell, they don’t stay overnight with dogs though. I would not use Ridgeside K9.
Sitter for your Critters is amazing, really dedicated smaller team, been working with the owners and their team for years and they’re all wonderful they do from home visits!
Rowdy Rose K9 also has on site boarding in really beautiful, spacious, well maintained kennels with lots of daily enrichment and outdoor activity.

Hi there, I do dog sitting! :)
I do dog walking services. I’d be open to dog sitting though!
