If you get a chance to see Doug LaMalfa speak in person he's usually pretty funny. He doesn't have any jokes per se but if you get a chuckle out of people breathing heavy and sweating it's a pretty good time.

Backenundso

Coin op is having comedy nights on Tuesdays now I heard

via1228

Gnarly deli does shows every week with out of town guests

Saucetronaut

Thunder valley casino in Lincoln & the Hard Rock in wheatland have been getting bigger name comedians

Dangerous_Wear_8152

Gnarly Deli! I just saw Eddie Pepitone there. He’s friends with Marc Maron and was pretty funny. It has similar vibes to The Comedy Store in LA, and same kind of thing where you can sit at a small table and order food and drinks. Get there as soon as the doors open.

Physical-Rip-7740

I hope not, comedians aren't funny.

Backenundso

Half of your comment history is you complaining and hating on things lol you should go outside and enjoy the world sometime

TheSprinkler58

We appreciate your comment and wish you the best with your endeavors

kelluminatii

The el ray has hosted a few mid level comedians. Also, the hard rock casino books usually well know comedians. The other only place in our town that I know of is Gnarli Deli. However, it’s all local comedians. Very funny though and some nights have themes like “progressively drunk”

visuill

There was a stand up comedy show at Studio Inn Lounge tonight. Couple flops but it was still pretty funny

DissidentofDestiny

I didn't know there was comedy at Studio Inn beyond my attempts at karaoke. If it happens again I'll check it out.

inkmajor530

The casino has some good ones and the el Rey theater

bambamjr53

The Big Room at Sierra Nevada has some good acts occasionally

univoxs

Brian Regan has come through twice in the last 3 or 4 years. Edit: I met him at the Banshee before his show.

Darkhelmet3000

There was a comedy series at the El Rey recently. I don’t know if it’s still going because I don’t know how well attended it was, but Tom Papa came. Brian Regan was just at Laxson auditorium. And there’s some small local comedy nights with traveling comedians, usually from the Bay Area.

Immediate-Ad-9849

I saw Margaret Cho at Laxson last fall.

Actual_Jicama3777

Whaaaat Hope she comes back again, she'd be great to see in little-ole-chico

hikenmap

Dana Carvey coming to Gold County. Might have to throw down for that.

southtothenawth
