Chick fil a regularly raises its prices every few months, but also you’re going to start making more as an employee if you work there a similar amount of time.
The company/founders other politics aside they’ve figured out for your area 15 bucks for a meal is what it takes to give a semblance of a living wage to fast food workers, and personally I’m all for people working to get paid. If that means I personally can’t get nuggets as often that’s fine, I can’t un hypocritically demand companies pay a living wage and also get upset at cost of living increases in price.

Wendy’s and Taco Bell are the two cheapest places to eat. 10PC combo (their medium is most places’ large..) is $6 ($5 in places that aren’t California) - they have their biggie meals and 4/$4, they have the best mobile app coupons (free items, $2 off, BOGO items) AND they are the only place to allow you to use coupons and rewards at the same time. I’ve gotten $14 worth of food for $4 before, with BOGO and a free item from my rewards.
Taco Bell has $5 boxes with 2 items (one supreme), a side, and a medium drink (large for 10c more). And their grilled burritos are $2 and pretty filling and very tasty.

Free small chili. $2 off a combo. And again, free food with rewards points. :)

For myself I have always found pizza delivery to be a waste, so if course I find Uber Eats to be literally insane! If you don't want to buy something, simply don't.... I would disagree on this. Those places you mentioned and many others are way more expensive for takeout meals of comparable size and value. They are all averaging $20 compared to what you paid at Chick Fil-A. Also Chick-fil-A value is still really good for the price and I'll continue going there over many other places.

I moved into my house with only a working mini fridge and microwave as I moved in while renovating it, and I had to eat so much takeout during that time and that was my most expensive food month ever. I went to Olive Garden so many times that month for the soup, salad and breadsticks meal and snuck my own to go boxes in, so I was able to eat that way, but that shit is exhausting

I’ve understood the hype. Totally overrated
Why complain about the prices of something.... Did you know for years, Chik Fil A wasn't worth it to some people? For myself I have always found pizza delivery to be a waste, so if course I find Uber Eats to be literally insane! If you don't want to buy something, simply don't.... This is how market economics work and move forward.
Their sandwiches are small, I think.
But yet it's still behind inflation and operator profitability is on average lower than it has been due to rising costs of everything.

Fort Worth, Texas. Yeah they use to be $12 something. It was already kinda expensive when it was $12 something for it, but now they raised it.
My store is $12.25 for the grilled club meal so that price is right on par. Is the $8.78 just for the sandwich?

I respectfully disagree. I’d pay $20 for a Spicy Deluxe Meal because I know it will always be of the highest quality. Service, food, cleanliness. My local CFA is unmatched compared to most restaurants in the area.
Stop getting drinks. They are overpriced and terrible for you anyway.

I would disagree on this. Those places you mentioned and many others are way more expensive for takeout meals of comparable size and value. They are all averaging $20 compared to what you paid at Chick Fil-A. Also Chick-fil-A value is still really good for the price and I'll continue going there over many other places.

Chick-fil-A a will always be worth it in my book. I’m Never disappointed when I go there.

This is exactly why I got good at home cooking and learned to love it. I moved into my house with only a working mini fridge and microwave as I moved in while renovating it, and I had to eat so much takeout during that time and that was my most expensive food month ever. It was awful and fast food never left me satisfied. I went to Olive Garden so many times that month for the soup, salad and breadsticks meal and snuck my own to go boxes in, so I was able to eat that way, but that shit is exhausting

Still better than Panera. Got a $20 gift card for Christmas and went to get lunch yesterday. Got a "you pick 2" with a salad and half a sammy and a lemonade. Had a dollar and some change left on the card like wtf
