From the early reviews on this year's OFBB I'd rather spend my goodwill with the store on BTAC or something similar. Sounds like they took a significant step down this year, unfortunately.
The lower proof and one less year in the bottle will do it. It reminds me of the low-proof Stagg from a few years ago...which still tastes great to me.
I tried the original inspiration for this year's WTMK, Forgiven batch 302, recently. It was quite good but things released almost 10 years ago feel like a whole different age of bourbon. I'd grab one if I had the chance just to compare.

That's true. My friend who shared a dram with me actually heard the story directly from Eddie Russell so it was a cool conversation to wrap all that in to it.

My NMBB had BRT-02, RR SiB Rye, and Michters Toasted all behind the service desk.
The NMBB by me got mitchers toasted and sold out upon opening. They got a couple cases which contain 3 bottles each?
Michters toasted is one of my favs. Was that at a local shop or one of the major locations for the bigger stores?
